Accessibility - Support the use of Windows Contrast themes
Workplace controls can 'disappear' when different Windows Accessibility Contrast themes are selected.
While accessibility improvements have been and continue to be made, users can change their Windows contrast and still have issues navigating the Workplace app.
Official accessibility support in these configurations is desired to support government clients.
Example: Using the "Aquatic" setting (see below on how to set), there were still multiple WCAG findings using a browser accessibility test tool related color contrast ratios.Steps (Windows PC):
Settings -> Accessibility -> Contrast Themes
Choose Aquatic

To determine whether the attendees will attend the meeting virtually or in-person
There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

Maps in Workplace
When creating a Service Request in Workplace, it would be nice to be able to use a map to define its location.

Harmonize Meeting Booking Notifications
The notification emails are not consistent when you book a meeting as an organizer versus when you invite attendees to a meeting.
When you book as an organizer without inviting attendees, you receive an email notification with the door code info for certain rooms, but without the ics file to book it in the calendar.
If you invite other people they receive an email with the ics file, but no door code info.
Can both emails include the door code info and the ics file attachment?

Allow Users to Acknowledge Reservation Costs in Workplace
When a cost is set for a room reservation, allow the option for a cost confirmation box to appear when the user is making the reservation. The user would be required to select that they acknowledge the reservation cost before proceeding.
Currently there is no visibility into the room costs in Workplace and before charging anyone the space team needs to make sure they are aware. Currently they are just adding the cost as an amenity but that could easily be missed.

Update connector email to include Connector Description
When migrating code and connectors to different environments for a client, often times the connectors in DEV, UAT and PROD will have the same connector name. This could be due to many factors, including custom db code that runs based on the connector name.
It would be helpful to include the Connector Description in the email that is sent out via the connector email notifications. This way the connector code can remain the same in all environments w/ only the description being updated to include the environment name being sent from.
This would also be nice to include so that…

Hotelling Approval by Location
Hotelling currently only allows approvals for employees whose departments have an approving manager assigned.
Often the workspaces themselves will require approval, no matter who is booking.
Rather than have approvals based on the employee department, please create the ability to enforce approvals based on the room/workspace department as well.

Support tagging feature in Workplace
Currently, a requestor in Workplace and a technician in OnSite can view each other's comments, which is a great start. However, there is a missing piece to the communication roundtripping.
A technician can tag the requestor when commenting from OnSite, who will receive an email notification. However, when a requestor comments in the Workplace, the technician will not get notified; thus, it is hard to respond in a timely matter.
Can we implement a tagging feature when commenting in Workplace, similar to OnSite? This small enhancement will ensure the tagged person gets notified via email instantly so that they can…

Maintain Case of AutoCAD File Names
When using drawing check-in/check-out, copies of the DWG files on the local PC are named in all lowercase, despite them being in uppercase on the server.
For example:
• File on server: BL-FL-01.dwg
• File on local PC: bl-fl-01.dwgWe have found this can trigger case-sensitivity errors, especially when XREFs are involved, in third-party applications that utilize and process the AutoCAD drawings. The errors are not within Archibus itself and there is no impact to Web Central or Workplace. We have clients who use third-party tools to publish AutoCAD drawings (stored on the Archibus server) for purposes outside of Archibus.…

Reservation room policy popup
When booking a room, there are often particular notices for special rooms. Would like to see the ability to add text to the room arrangement that, if populated, would be displayed in a window that the user has to accept to book the room.
Often this is not something that every room needs but if a particular room has a use policy or a cost associated with it that needs to be communicated to the users.

Batch Emails Before Sending
Currently, Archibus sends an email notification as soon as it's created in the system. This is usually fine for small volumes of email, but some SMTP servers won't allow Archibus to authenticate multiple times in a row in quick succession. Please consider adding a batching mechanism, so emails can be sent in groups using a single authentication with the SMTP server.

Full featured Customer Center
Archibus is a powerful and complex tool. However, we've encountered some challenges with bugs and areas that appear less polished.
Eptura relies on Integrator (PaaS), which is beneficial as it allows Eptura to concentrate on the product. However, this should not result in disconnecting from clients.
Clients should have a more streamlined method to report and address issues, or to access articles on problems collaboratively. Here are some suggested features:
- User-friendly search functionality across all following items
- Integration of User Voice for enhanced feedback
- Access to Use Cases and White Papers
- Easy reporting of cases/issues/bugs
- Comprehensive knowledge base including known…

Improve filtering in "Search and Manage Work Requests" view
Improve the Search and Manage Work Requests form with tool tips and modification of navigation / layout.
For example, layout could be improved by (1) grouping certain fields under a heading. For example, Location for the group of 4 related fields and Date for the 6 date fields, and (2) keeping related fields in the same column.See attached image.

Queue Failed Notifications For Resending
Create a queue for notifications, so Archibus can resend when there's a temporary mail server outage. Currently, if a notification fails because of an issue with the mail server, then that notification is "lost".

Notifications Log - Missing Create Date in Filter and Result Set
After v26.3, Eptura added 4 new fields to the [afmnotificationslog] table. These fields are, [createdtime], [createdat], [emailcc], and [emailbcc].
The View Notifications Log view in WebCentral that is used to view with Notification Log has not been updated to include those fields. The number of records in that table can get quite large, making the filters very valuable. In v26.3 and earlier, the Search by Date Range - From and Search by Date Range - To were valuable to search by the [serverdatesent] value. Since v26.3, the [created_at] is used when notifications…
