  1. As we have more and more BIM models to integrate in which Building and Floor are concatenated with the Room, the code goes over the limit of CHAR(8).

  2. Search and Manage Work Requests:- Asthetic issue alignment of Work Request, Work Order and Service Request Codes. Move from right align to left align to make it uniform with the rest of the data fields. Please see attached PNG.

  3. The navigator is washed out with the rest of the screen -- everything is white. Make the navigator another color to distinguish it from the rest of the screen.

  4. In the "Data Events Log" for a Record Change, the view shows who made the change and when. Clicking on the record shows the old and new values for the fields that were change. However, nothing tells me which record it was changed for.

    I recommend adding a new field to the table for the pkey value. When changes are recorded, populate that field with the pkey value and display it in the primary view (search results) for the data event log view.

  7. Service Level Agreement to allow SLA to have an after hours redirection to different Craftsperson(s)

    This would allow for outside normal hours requests (emergency/critical) to be directed to another response agency/work team/craftsperson

  8. Parameter setting - Auto close Work Request on Completion. This is currently a 1 and 0 (all in or out). Change logic to allow certain problem type to be included/excluded from this global parameter. Maybe possible be added as an attribute to the problem type.

  9. When needing to look up completed/closed work requests and looking for all the information in a concise format users need to use Archived Work Requests and Resources. This process is over complicated as users need to know the Work Order Code (found using Search and Manage). There needs to be a modification to this process either through Search and Manage or Archived Work Requests and Resources.

    The archive of a file needs to also include the completed Checklists and attachments to the work. Should be a PDF export with all of the information. Requiring users to look up information to…

  10. Please add a better option for view level security. The current restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting makes startup take 2-3 hours for many clients, which is unacceptable.

    I would suggest using the afmptasks.securitygroup field to prevent users without the security group assigned from opening the view at all. At the platform level, an "afterViewLoad" check could be performed to check that field and show a message instead of loading view if they are not authenticated.

  11. Client feedback (Archibus SaaS) for the dialog message indicating that a user has to sign-out and sign-in after changing the the locale is too short.
    The request would be to make the duration a little longer or replace the temporary message with a pop-up giving the option to Logout Now.

    UX reading suggests the time for the popup be 1 second for every 4 words which translates into the popup being 4-5 seconds especially for the French language and it is also compounded by the fact there are 2 pop-ups at the same time (The other being 'Record Saved')

  12. We have a client who uses a lot of multiple recipients in the email field in the EM table.
    When such an employee, with multiple recipients in the email field, creates a Service Desk ticket then he/she will not receive the approval mail.
    Instead the error "Illegal address" is logged in the afmnotificationslog table.

    Unlike the sendMessage method in Message.java, the method checkRequired in the Approval step (approval.java) does not split the email values into multiple recipients

  13. Currently we can create custom tasks that redirect to URLs in View Definition Wizard. However it seems that these URLs do not properly load within Archibus when they require some sort of log-in (ex for google docs or sites created by Canva).

    Please provide an option for a URL to load in a new tab from an Archibus task (I believe that this may resolve the issue)

  15. If you are using reservations (tested on workplace in browser) with QR codes, when you scan the code for the room it does not authenticate if you were the person the reservation was booked by/for, it will let anyone check in and out of the reservation. This is a problem with unknowing/malicious users ending the reservations for others to book the space. It would be very useful to have a config to add this restriction to the display of the check in/out button for reservations.

  18. This is a request for additional functionality related to fiscal year setup.
    Briefly, I would like to be able to determine the fiscal year based on the end month in Archibus.

    With the current specifications, Archibus determines the fiscal year based on the start month. For example, if the starting month is April, the fiscal year 2023 would be from April 2022 to March 2023.

    For example, in Japan, a typical fiscal year's period is from April to March of the following year. For example, fiscal year 2015 is from April 2015 to March 2016 in Japan.

  19. When one searches for a person using the People and Places search, the location pin appears in a very faint grey/white colour, which is hardly visible against the drawing background.
    By contrast, the location pin appears in a more visible dark grey/grey colour when the “Find Employee” filter is applied when booking a workspace.
    It would be preferred if the location pin could be in darker, more visible colours- like they dark grey/grey combination as shown, consistently across the Workplace module.

  20. When creating a recurring cost in the Costs Wizard - Leases, Building, and Properties, enable the Add Recurring Cost button to show without needing to use the location tree.

    At present the Add Recurring Cost button only appears if you search using the filters then navigate to the correct item in the location tree which is inefficient and unnecessary if you know sufficient detail about the item to which you want to add a Recurring Cost.
