  1. The organization hierarchy should be unlimited, and highlight reports should be able to show rooms on all organizational levels.

    Implementation options include:
    - Make use of the org table.
    - Add an Fkey in rm and em to org and get hierarchy that way.

  2. ARCHIBUS Space users have increasingly relied on the Space Console as their primary interface for space-management tasks and reports. However, the Space Console doesn't support more flexible and complex activity-based working environments as well as older views that were designed for that purpose. The idea that a user must "downgrade" the user experience to handle more complex workflows is confusing and frustrating.

    The proposal is to enhance the Space Console to support these specific and oft-required cases:
    - Sharing rooms among multiple departments
    - Assigning employees to primary and satellite workspaces
    - Viewing both permanent and temporary (hoteled) occupancy together…

  3. Add a field to store the text label size in the afm_dwgs table and store a value for any drawing that is either larger or smaller than the default. When the drawing is loaded, the drawing parameter can be set based on that stored value, with a default value set for drawings in case they don't provide one.

  4. While the Space Console is great for sophisticated users, most non-facility managers just want to see and print a floor plan. So for nearly every organization, we create a simplified View and Print Floor Plan. Requirements vary, but a search for Building and Floor is obviously needed. Probably also a Room and Room Name, Category and Type so the same view can serve as "Locate a Room/s". Perhaps highlight and label choices.

  5. The current BOMA calculations are not complete for BOMA 2017. Focus on Method A, but most would carry over to Method B. Missing Inter-Building Amenity and Service Areas and Reallocated Rentable Area which are the major changes/benefits of version 2017. Vert Pen is also no longer relevant, this area should be included in Rentable Exclusions.

    For Inter-Building Areas, there needs to be a new proration option. INTER for Inter-Group maybe. Then a field in the Buildings table (with a lookup table) for assigning building to different groups. Intent - if you have a fitness center in Building A that is…

  6. Currently the ability to edit data in the Space Console is all or nothing. But many organizations want certain Roles to edit only some data (e.g., Employee's Room, Room's Category and Type). But now a user with edit rights can do things like delete a Building (with all the cascading damage that does). We need a way to limit editing to certain fields for certain Roles without using Field Level Security or editing the JavaScript.

  7. Why is the Building-Floor-Room editable in the Space Console? If these are changed it causes problems with the drawing that prevent data from being visible or selectable again.

    These fields should be flagged as ReadOnly in the SpaceConsole.

    I’m not saying these fields should change ReadOnly/Editable everywhere else. There are good reasons to change a room name and there are plenty of places to do it. This just should be one of them.   8. In the Space Console, after adding or modifying existing data, click close or X to close the form. WebCentral closes the form without warning the user. A prompt to the user would give them a chance to commit their changes before they are lost.

  9. Be able to generate a pdf and include the border highlights. Border highlights are highly used and very valuable, but when creating a PDF they do not come through.

  10. It'd be good if you were able to measure room dimensions from within the Space Console. This would help massively with employees within our department who may want these dimensions but don't have access to AutoCAD/Revit

  11. If you are using the advanced filter In the space console, and cross-reference parameters there is no visual indication or label that suggests a filter is applied.

    for example, if filter the Space Console to show: room status restricted by Department and Day of the Week, I would like that restriction to show as a label on the floorplan view.

    I’m scheduling this for the next release (Q4 2021). No promises until it gets into development, but “scheduled” means it’s on the list.

  12. When calculating capacity for a building / floor, there is overlap in how the capem field is used. If the space is non-occupiable, such a s a conference room but there is a number in the capem field, this is included in the capacity of the floor. Many times this field is used to store how many seats the room has for reservation purposes, and should not affect the the floor capacity.
    Either a separate field for this capacity, of modification of how space console and other views count capacity to exclude the conference type spaces.

  14. This is continuance of existing support ticket

    Atm, Archibus REST api only supported when the security is configured using Single sign on (SAML)

    Please test / support Archibus REST api, when Archibus authentication OR LDAP authentication is selected for the security ? This is currently giving an error "Authentication must be not null"

    I just thought that with more and more people using the REST api as part of the integration, we will encounter issues where customers who have no identity system that supports Single sign on at its front end.

  15. Add an excel based move list report which can be sent to various stakeholders in addition to the paginated word report which is long and tedious to read for larger moves.

    This should collate all the various move items from the different tabs with some key information on the move project.
    (employee, new hire, leaving employees, asset, etc)

  16. If an employee is assigned to a room set to Hotelable=Yes and has their “Days in Office” set to 2 days, the space should be available the rest of the days, but it doesn’t work this way.

    When trying to book a room, availability is defined by a few different thing, the part that I’m concerned with is:
    Current: If Room Capacity less than Count of Employees assigned.
    Proposed: If Room Capacity less than Count of Employees assigned to work that day.

    Example is that I’m assigned a room in the employee table for Tuesday & Thursday. My room’s record…

  17. The Esri / ArcGIS platform provides unique capabilities for applying location-based analytics to facilities/workplace practices. The platform provides the ability to gain greater insights into data by using contextual tools to visualize and analyze data.

    There are many opportunities for our customers to leverage Esri technology to solve problems involving location -- particularly for our customers who have campus environments; e.g. hospitals, universities, corporate, government/military, etc.

    Strengthen the Archibus-Esri partnership and improve the Archibus-ArcGIS integration with ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Indoors.

  18. Upon 2D publishing in REVIT, some assets are not correctly published or better said are not correctly included in the JSON files and from there are not « clickable » ( = selectable) in the SVG drawings, e.g. in the Web Central consoles that use 2D SVG/HTML viewing.

    This seems to happen for assets (e.g. equipment) that belong to « work plane based » families, such as solar panels placed on a slanted roof and defined as such in the properties/constraints.

    This kind of family needs to be compatible too in order to be used for modern buildings.

  20. Currently in V2022.03 single quote/apostrophes are not accepted in the email address field in Define Employees and Define Users Web Central views.

    Clients require the ability to have an email address that includes an apostrophe.
