  2. Writing upon request. There has been some effort to generate some linear asset functionality within Archibus as a extension. However, we are asking that the features are available as a more permanent module or be part of asset management. Such assets to manage include but are not limited to: sewer, water lines, wastewater, roads, sidewalks, eletrical lines, telecommunication lines and more.

    Archibus would ideally need to be able to do the following:
    - track inventory - linear assets tend to have tracking related to the length (for example, in km), condition, age, risk, remaining life
    - ability to view linear…

  3. When going into the asset lifecycle consoles, a user with the right security group should have the ability to perform bulk edits. It's not efficient to go and edit 1 asset at a time. Especially if a user was using the exceptions reporting and found 3000 assets were missing a value of some property from the exceptions filtering, it makes sense to bulk edit them.

  4. I propose to:
    1. Consolidate Equipment, Tagged Furniture, and Furniture tables under one Assets table.
    2. consolidate both EQ Standard and Furniture Standard to one Asset Standard table.

    Currently, we cannot run basic SLA services on furniture. Consolidation will enable users to look at their entire asset portfolio (No Building No Properties) in one location and will enable:

    1. planners to create furniture capital replacement plans
    2. facility managers to see available assets in rooms that include furniture in one report
    3. allow systems to extend to Furniture
    4. Allow Employees to request services for Furniture assets

  5. When using the Asset Disposal Console, you are able to review activities assigned to the asset, such as: assessments, work requests, project actions and hoteling requests.

    There is no indication where PM Procedures are assigned to the asset (either by location or equipment).

    When an asset is decommissioned, there should an indication of active PM Procedures so that they can be removed from the system, otherwise they continue to trigger work requests even after the asset has been decommissioned.

  6. The equipment standard and bulk generation needs to be improved. The use case is if I'm going to make the effort to define an equipment standard where I've added in manufacturer information, CSI information, costs and model information, this should have copied over for the asset registry.

    So here's the use case. I have to create 10 extra equipment that came in a batch. The only thing different about these 10 items is the serial number and the unique asset ID. Meaning it's the same model number, same cost, same extra attributes, same warranty, same PO invoice.

  7. When Assigning Assets to Custodians, it is possible to assign the assets to a custodian team, instead of an employee.

    For example: our IT assets belong to / are managed by our IT department, where our HVAC / Electrical assets belong to / are managed by our Operations team.

    Is it possible to leverage the Team Member tab and be able to associate IT assets to the IT Team? By assigning "Bob Smith" to the IT Team, he would be a custodian on that asset in the EAM console?

  9. Tracking changes to Asset status, condition etc..

    We use the basic Asset Portal, and accept this has limited functionality over the full Enterprise asset management module. However our requirements have changed and we need better management of lifecycle changes to our assets. On seeking further information on the enterprise asset management module capabilities i was disappointed to find out it didn't meet our needs, which i think are a fair requirement. These are:

    If we make changes to an assets condition, i.e. Good > Poor > bad etc at each occasion where this change is made we want the changes…

  10. As we use the integration with REVIT for BIM integration, the use of different lengths for different codes of asset tables (eq,ta,fn...)
    It would be good to have the codes (and descriptions) length are all the same (to the longer ones) so they can be treated in similar ways in BIM and other systems.

  11. There needs to be a way to QC Assets in the Archibus database vs. those placed in Revit. Basically, a database comparison between the two, similar to the Windowed Assets where it shows assets in Revit that 'used' to be in Archibus. The example QC is for Room that may be in Archibus and never were connected via Revit. See attachments for workflow concept.

  12. The 360 Viewer base on pannellum library was remove in Archibus 25.2 because a known security vulnerability CWE-80.

    I propose keep a panorama viewer in the Equipment Systems Console. It could be a fixed pannellum plug-in or other alternative 360 Viewer implemented by us (ARCHIBUS Community) with only Three.js or similar.

  14. I would like to enable the BIM Viewer to highlight rooms that span across different floors.

    Currently, the BIM Viewer is designed to highlight only rooms on the same floor. However, we have received user requests to support highlighting rooms located on different floors as well.

    This feature would be particularly useful for cross-sectional comparison and visualization of rooms that belong to the same category or type, thereby enhancing usability.

    Starting from version 2024.04, it has become possible to highlight rooms on different floors when launching the BIM Viewer via the "Show in BIM Viewer" icon added to the Space…

  15. We are experiencing an issue when attempting to export equipment information in bulk from the Equipment System Console. It appears that there is a limit of 103 items, and we are unable to export more than this number. We regularly need to export equipment data across all sites, so it's important for us to resolve this limitation.

    We are curious about the system's structure regarding data export:
    In the Equipment Registration/Edit screen, we are able to export all equipment data without any limitations.
    However, in the Equipment System Console, we are unable to do so.

  17. Whenever a user does a task like : Task: Assign Assets to Custodians
    Task File: ab-eam-assign-to-custodian.axvw

    And the user does the following:
    1. Find an equipment
    2. Add an owner custodian via the "+" button
    3. Click on the '...' button on the New Owner name field which will allow one to select a value.

    This select a owner view is called (ab-team-member-select.axvw) and it takes a long time to load, sometimes 20-30 seconds because it seems to pull from the employee, vendor, contacts and the team member tables.

  18. When you use assign view for asset, you see only them in the view.
    If you want to see assets and employees on same view, you have put symbol of assets and employees on Revit and then through space console you have both.
    Is it possible to see same data of employees and assets only through assign view ?

  19. I add equipment to floorplan via Space Console, if I have a job for that particular piece of equipment on onsite app, I only want that shown on floorplan, not all equipment, there are too many assets/equipment in one location making it harder to locate.

    I would like to define a Asset Attribut with an list of predefined values :
    - enumeration list
    - value by default = first value
    - multilingual

    Add others parameters
    - Type of response : Char / integer / number
    - allow to be null : Yes/No
