  1. Several problem types such as Cleaning/Setup are required by the requester for a specific date/time. This is especially true for the Higher Education/University/Hospital verticals. There should be an easy way for the requester to provide this information and for this information to be visible to the Supervisor/Craftsperson executing on these requests.

  2. After a request has been submitted, there is currently no way for the requester to do this from the service catalog view. It would be beneficial for all parties to give the requester this ability.

    Also as a side note, the cancel button on the View Service request View is very confusing for the end user because it is really a "Back to List" button which is labelled as "Cancel".

  3. When calculating capacity for a building / floor, there is overlap in how the capem field is used. If the space is non-occupiable, such a s a conference room but there is a number in the capem field, this is included in the capacity of the floor. Many times this field is used to store how many seats the room has for reservation purposes, and should not affect the the floor capacity.
    Either a separate field for this capacity, of modification of how space console and other views count capacity to exclude the conference type spaces.

  4. Settings should be available to allow users to edit a reservation after it has started. Situations arise (ie. illness, change in plans) where it would be ideal for the user to shorten or delete the reservation to allow others to use the room.

  5. For questionnaires under compliance or even the new maintenance checklist in v25.3, some clients want to add a reference link so that when an employee is doing a checklist and it requires them to follow a set of instructions then the employee can say watch a video, open up pictures on instructions on how to do the checklist item.

    One example are hospital equipment which have some complexities. So an example question could be replacing a battery. The technician can refer to a quick video or reference pictures to confirm the work is done. It would make sense if the…

  7. Functionality exists for a meeting space booker to check-in 15 minutes before and during the meeting.

    Ensuring users check-in to their meetings is a good process to enforce since it will be able to indicate whether a room was used or not. It isn't uncommon for rooms to be booked but a meeting doesn't actually take place due to cancellations or scheduling and location changes. This will save cleaners time and cleaning resources since they wouldn't be cleaning an unused room.

  8. Based on information provided on a ticket (estimated hours, etc), automatically assign and issue work orders to a specific craftsperson on the work team who has the highest availability based on the work orders that have already been assigned to them.

  9. When a Maintenance Craftsperson opens a WR on mobile often time they don't need all the different tabs. Majority of the clients don't use Parts or Tools. If there was a configuration option to hide these it would help in reducing the clutter on the mobile app to a large extent.

  10. The option to add a Terms & Conditions box before confirming a reservation to certain rooms would be very helpful (ie. by booking this room you acknowledge you accept usage policies, will complete a health checklist for Covid protocols, will clean the area between uses, etc.).

  11. Customers are looking for ways to replace furniture system booking applications (Condeco) with Archibus functionality.

    The Kiosk mode for room reservations in workplace could be a good alternative, if extended to Hoteling for workspaces.

    A partnership between SpaceIQ/Archibus and a company providing desk beacons could be a good alternative, using barcode scanning and hoteling to initiate the booking. The beacon would then need to turn red, indicating the space is booked.

    Booker = The logged in user making the reservation
    Organizer = The employee specified in the Organizer field
    Attendee = A visitor added below the Organizer field

    The Emails

    1) The email with ICS attachment will go to the Booker and Attendees as long as an at least 1 attendee is added.
    2) The email without the ICS attachment will go to the Organizer and Booker if no attendees are added.

    To remain consistent, my suggestion is for the Organizer, Booker, and Attendees get an email in both cases and for the ICS attachment be included in both…

  13. If there is a change to a Preventative Maintenance Schedule, the only problem-free way to do this is to unassign the PM Procedure from the Equipment or Location, Reassign and setup a new schedule. When this is done the historical data on the old 'pms' record is lost although the WRs still exist in the system.

    If the change to the schedule is made by changing the Date of First PM or updating the frequency/recurrence pattern, it leads to the PM WR not getting generated.

    I would suggest a few changes to make the PM Planning a more error free…

  14. Please add an option or options to the selectValue command to pick the sort field and direction. There are many instances where sorting on a column other than the select column is desirable. There are also many instances where it would be preferable to sort descending instead of ascending on the default column. This is currently not possible with the standard <command type="selectValue" />.

  15. When creating an HTML chart, the max and min values of the numeric axis are automatically calculated. For many charts, these values don't make sense for the data displayed.

    For example, a column chart that is showing percentages, but starts at 0.4 and goes to 0.7 does not show an accurate scale for the values being presented.

    It would be helpful to have a chart option that allows setting the maximum and minimum value for the particular axis.

  16. Workplace -> select a building -> Book a Meeting Space

    • Choose an available room and then click on the Book button
    • Choose any day and time and then click on the Next button
    • The Organizer dropdown menu can get very long depending on the number of employees belong to the selected department. It's not uncommon for a department to have over 100 employees so being able to search through the list and limit the results instead of scrolling through what could be a very long list could be beneficial.

  17. The current BOMA calculations are not complete for BOMA 2017. Focus on Method A, but most would carry over to Method B. Missing Inter-Building Amenity and Service Areas and Reallocated Rentable Area which are the major changes/benefits of version 2017. Vert Pen is also no longer relevant, this area should be included in Rentable Exclusions.

    For Inter-Building Areas, there needs to be a new proration option. INTER for Inter-Group maybe. Then a field in the Buildings table (with a lookup table) for assigning building to different groups. Intent - if you have a fitness center in Building A that is…

  19. The 360 Viewer base on pannellum library was remove in Archibus 25.2 because a known security vulnerability CWE-80.

    I propose keep a panorama viewer in the Equipment Systems Console. It could be a fixed pannellum plug-in or other alternative 360 Viewer implemented by us (ARCHIBUS Community) with only Three.js or similar.

  20. In v25.2, we can still assign processes and mobile application security groups to users even if those applications are not licensed. The system would be more user friendly if it did not allow this.
