  2. While the Space Console is great for sophisticated users, most non-facility managers just want to see and print a floor plan. So for nearly every organization, we create a simplified View and Print Floor Plan. Requirements vary, but a search for Building and Floor is obviously needed. Probably also a Room and Room Name, Category and Type so the same view can serve as "Locate a Room/s". Perhaps highlight and label choices.

  6. I propose to create a dynamic/ responsive booking process with automatic Social Distancing logic – this means:
    1. All of the Hotelable rooms are designated as “Available”
    2. When a room (desk) is booked, the system automatically checks the room’s proximity to other rooms and turns “Unavailable” all rooms that fall within the specified social distance radius.

    Benefits:
    1. Move away from a static floorplan layout – more flexibility
    2. Increase room availability – let say that one room is in the cleaning process, users can still use all the rooms around it.

  7. The lease templates is where you can generate the next lease by copying the values from the template, but is you can't create a new lease from a template while in the lease console.

    So you can create a template here:
    Task: Define Lease Templates
    Task File: ab-repm-lsadmin-add-edit-lease-template.axvw
    Path: Real Property/Leases/Background Data/Define Lease Templates
    that is where you can get an existing lease it copies it changes it into a template for you

    Then to apply the template to a new lease you would go to

  8. There is currently no report available for viewing cancelled hotel bookings.

    The "Bookings for a Date Range" report allows the user to search for all bookings except for cancelled ones.

    Room Reservations has a "Cancelled Reservations - Details" report so it would be nice if Hoteling had an equivalent.

  9. Reservations -> Background Data -> Define Room Arrangements

    • Choose a room arrangement
    • Set the "Maximum Capacity" and "Minimum Required" values to something high for testing such as 99 for Maximum Capacity and 30 for Minimum Required.
    • Now go to Workplace to Book a Meeting Space.
    • Go to the floor plan of the room arrangement that was modified.
    • Depending on the other rooms on the floor, the room may not be highlighted blue. The Seats filter will likely have increased to a maximum of 99 seats. The slider would need to be moved to 30 for the room to be highlighted.…

  10. Make Social Distancing Button, Target Occupancy, Advanced Search, a parameter base functionality. This functionally does not make sense for all clients and is considered disruptive.

  11. Provide users with the ability to opt-out of email notifications from the ARCHIBUS application. Ideally, they would be able to opt-out of notifications at the module level. In addition, providing System Admins with the ability to classify notifications that users can opt-out of and ones that they will always receive. For instance, a user may wish to opt-out of Building Operations notifications, while the System Admin wants to make sure that they do not opt-out of the password reset emails. It would be nice for a future release to have the ability to allow users to opt-out of notifications.

  12. There is an option to turn on specific fields to make visible. Based on users and multiple departments needing different fields displayed, it would be more efficient if as a user can save multiple views based on who the user is working with and not reset when cache is cleared. See attached images for examples.

  13. This is a common ask from the craftsperson to be able to see the hours they have submitted for the Day/Week/Month.
    If there was a pre-existing report for the CF that gave them this information on the mobile and WC it would be very beneficial. Lot of times, they use this this information to enter their timesheets in the HR system as well.

  16. The ARCHIBUS Database and web central application allows the clients to maintain the parts that are required per equipment.

    However, this information is not readily available on the WR. If a link to this information is added from the WR (both building operations console and mobile app), it will add tremendous value for the user to maintain this information in ARCHIBUS. Otherwise, this will continue to be maintained in an adhoc manner.

  17. At the inspection, by selecting a room, the work requests of the equipment in that room are searched, and when the all work requests in the rooms are completed, the color of the room changes according on floor plan. Most of the case, inspection work requests should be done room by room so it is easier for workers to check which room has been done.

  20. The Esri / ArcGIS platform provides unique capabilities for applying location-based analytics to facilities/workplace practices. The platform provides the ability to gain greater insights into data by using contextual tools to visualize and analyze data.

    There are many opportunities for our customers to leverage Esri technology to solve problems involving location -- particularly for our customers who have campus environments; e.g. hospitals, universities, corporate, government/military, etc.

    Strengthen the Archibus-Esri partnership and improve the Archibus-ArcGIS integration with ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Indoors.
