    1. Consolidate Equipment, Tagged Furniture, and Furniture tables under one Assets table.
    2. consolidate both EQ Standard and Furniture Standard to one Asset Standard table.

    Currently, we cannot run basic SLA services on furniture. Consolidation will enable users to look at their entire asset portfolio (No Building No Properties) in one location and will enable:

    1. planners to create furniture capital replacement plans
    2. facility managers to see available assets in rooms that include furniture in one report
    3. allow systems to extend to Furniture
    4. Allow Employees to request services for Furniture assets

  2. A client has mentioned they need staff to know where the fire wardens sit, these people are often volunteers so they are not tied to a specific organizational unit. They have a title but it may not be fire warden, it may be the administrative assistant with the User defined field that states they are a fire warden.

    The workflow is something like this. The fire warden is notified ahead of time that there are staff wanting to book desks in the office space. So they go and also book a hoteling desk. The staff will also need ways to…

  3. Would like to be able to utilize the Space Console drag and drop as well as the ability to create a Move without providing access to all edit and delete rights that granting the security group of Space-Console-All-Access provides.

  4. In the strategic space planning console, you can create a scenario and grab a pre-built space requirement.

    The current screen that allows you pick a space requirement requires you to select each period one by one, there should be a quick selection.

    You then have to put in start date but there's no end date. This makes it difficult to create a forecast where you're trying to decrease space.

    So once you added the requirement, now no matter what, it assumes all scenarios are growth only but not a true decrease scenario. Hence the end date would help set that…

  6. v25 has exposed a lost of functionality with the AutoCAD edit data command. The edit data pop-up in Smart Client no longer allows the edit of a Department Code without the parent Division Code to be entered; the same can be said for the Room Type / Room Category.

    Per Tech Support "This disallowing of entering data directly into a child field was a intentional change in the product design for reasons of application performance and data integrity."

    This greatly increases the time it takes to input data.

  7. In workplace large floor plans do not fully display. In addition after searching for an employee a scroll bar on the right is activated when scrolling down the floor plan and floors list the experience is very poor.

As described on the Microsoft Support website -- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2673231/how-to-control-the-room-finder-in-outlook, an update of the Microsoft Exchange Add-in added an option to completely disable the default Room Finder by adding the following registry entry. This change keeps the default room finder hidden also on the Scheduling Assistant view.

  9. When setting a date, start and end time in the reservations console filter, and you select a room arrangement, a vlokc should appear in the scheduler/week/month view for the selected paramenters. When they are adjusted and the filter is applied, the block should adpat as well.

    in case the user drags a different time frame for the meeting, the from to time in the filter should adapt as well.

    This feature was present in 24.1 and was very usefull and widely used.

  11. Hello,
    while exploring the REST API endpoints in Webcentral we discovered a shortcoming:
    There are two endpoints:
    * /v1/service-desk/requests/getAllBy
    * /v1/data/getAllBy
    that use GET as request method but still rely on request body parameters to retrieve information from the client request.

    While the standard does not/does no longer strictly forbid GET requests with body parameters (see this discussion: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/978061/http-get-with-request-body) it is still considered bad practice and can cause caching problems. Even more problematic is that lots of clients don't support it which means they are not able to communicate with Webcentral.

  13. As a Space Manager I would like to be able to generate statistics that include data from standard tables using the Analysis tool. Now the standard fields are shown in the Smart Client grid but are missing from the Analysis reports.
    Our clients export the data and use Excel to generate a statistics report. We do have some predefined custom reports but this Analysis tool would be a great added value if it included the standard tables. The clients should be able generate new statistics on the fly without our intervention or technical limitations.

  14. Some clients are unable to upload photos of employees for security concerns. It would be nice if the default 'image' could be the users initials (similar to what office 365 does) if a photo isnt uploaded.

  15. Archibus work requests capture costs broken out by labor, materials, tools and other. But after the work order completion, all of the out of the box reports only report the total cost of the work requests. Facilities Managers regularly need to understand the costs aggregated by cost type; for example: Labor vs Material.

    Can Archibus consider adding a group by "Cost Type" dimension on out of the box reports including:
    1. Cost of Completed Work Requests (ab-ondemand-report-cost-tabs.axvw)
    2. Completed Work Requests Budgets and Costs (ab-bldgops-report-compl-wr-budget-cost.axvw)
    3. Maintenance Report Builder (ab-bldgops-report-console.axvw)
    4. Cost Analysis (ab-bldgops-rpt-dash-cost-analysis.axvw)

The parts inventory has the ability to refer to a security group “PO APPROVER" so that parts generated in a PO are automatically approved and where the role doesn't have the security group doesn't have the “PO APPROVER" then these parts when requested as PO start off as a status of 'Requested'. This would the intended design of the product but the '%' security group often seems to be needed for power users and areas like the workplace portal. The problem with this '%' group in parts inventory is that it automatically furfills the “PO APPROVER" group even if the…

  17. There are still modules using the text/plain MIME instead of text/html format.
    And this is hardcoded.
    The core should be updated or at least all modules should use the switch in the mail.properties file.

  19. Add a field to store the text label size in the afm_dwgs table and store a value for any drawing that is either larger or smaller than the default. When the drawing is loaded, the drawing parameter can be set based on that stored value, with a default value set for drawings in case they don't provide one.

  20. With Version 25, any mismatch between location of WR and location of Equipment is detected and not allowed. On web central, a pop up is displayed asking the user if they would like to change the WR location to the equipment location or, if they have rights to, if they would like to move the equipment to the WR location. On mobile, if you select a different building/floor/room after adding a piece of equipment, it immediately removes your equipment from the WR without any prompt.
