1. Allow drag-n-drop life-safety assets icons directly to floor plan from menu

   Some life-safety assets should appear on the Workplace floor plan as a wayfinding feature (Exit, Defibrillators, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid).

   To do this, we should develop a functionality, similar to the RED-LINE feature, that will enable users to:
   1. Associate icons with assets
   2. Drag and drop icons directly to a floor plan
   3. Display icons on Workplace floorplans

2. Move Scenario - ability to start with a blank floorplan

   OTB fills in the current occupancy. A move scenario often starts with no occupancy. It would be good to have an option to clear the floor or a selected set of rooms for the scenario.

3. Counting headcount from RMPCT rather than RM/EM

   Determining room counts and finding vacancies based on employees having multiple rooms. Available rooms and vacancy highlights do not consider secondary rooms.

4. Smart Client Read Only

   Smart Client Read Only - Easy role/security to allow power users to have Smart Client and AutoCAD Overlay in a 'read only' role. This would allow ad-hoc queries for users that have learned the data structure but are not editors. We would also like planners to be able to do afm highlights and query highlights in AutoCAD, but not able to edit data.

6. Fix Workplace to support multiple drawings associated with each floor

   Currently, if you have registered multiple CAD drawings for a floor, every form in Archibus will properly display the correct CAD drawing when viewing that floor except Workplace.

   Space Console, for example, will review the Rooms table to confirm which drawing is connected to the rooms on a floor, and then display the SVG associated with that drawing.

   Workplace queries the drawings table to retrieve a list of drawings associated with a floor, and then tries to display the SVG associated with the first drawing retrieved in the query.

   There may be a question on why an organization would have multiple drawings associated with a floor. The primary reason we have experienced is due to Document Management for Drawings. In reality, only 1 drawing is actually connected to the rooms on a floor. However, in order to pull all support files related to an FM drawing when checking out, customers are also storing the support files (Base drawings, Furniture drawings, etc) in Archibus document management. The Extensions require a drawing to be registered with Archibus to check in a drawing, and you must specify a building and floor before you can successfully register a drawing. Therefore, customers are specifying multiple drawings per floor just to store a complete picture of each floor in Archibus Document Management.

   Event driven mechanism to be able to broadcast an internal change to the external world trough Rest APIs.

8. mixed user login

   LDAP and Non LDAP mixed user setup

   It would be good to be able to support a mix login feature to allow for both staff and contractors to get access to ARCHIBUS.

   Often we have clients that need to have a SSO or LDAP solution for the majority of internal staff users, however often within a building we have, non staff and contractors that need to access ARCHIBUS to either report a problem, manage tasks assigned to them (work requests or assessments). or room bookings etc.

   Currently there is no option to be able to offer this (unless I'm missing something).

   If using the LDAP route (user still enters a user name and password) maybe a toggle selection to say your staff or non staff and ARCHIBUS will provide the required security checks for access.

   SSO could check if current user has active user account if not displayed the log in screen for internal Archibus authentication.

   There are a number of use cases that we have where clients would benefit from the ability to have mixed login functionality.

9. Support tools to investigate SVLive messages

   Have the ability for support to view SVLive messages sent from devices and see the data within the message (e.g. username, machine name, switch IP, switch port, WiFi BSSID etc).

   Additionally, it will be very useful from a support perspective to create a report on the data fields within the message to summarize and see unique data, e.g. see which usernames were not matched against the Serraview People database, so we can share with the customer where the exact issue may be

10. Inventory Management - Warehouse Manager

    Currently Archibus is enabled with features and functionality for multi-storage locations, craftsperson management of parts for on demand work, maintenance manager for preventive maintenance, etc...

    Please consider building out functionality specific to the warehouse manager:

    1. Mobile functionality for receiving shipments at the warehouse
    2. Pick/Pull Tickets for requested parts
    3. Notifications between warehouse manager and craftsperson on status of pick tickets
    4. Automatic generation of a purchasing list based on minimum storage quantities
    5. Having the inventory updated once an item has been pulled for pick up, not once the work order has been completed
    6. The ability to manage a mark-up: auto calculated by a percentage based on the items purchase price OR entered manually by the client

11. Bulk edit for assets on Webcentral's Asset Lifecycle consoles

    When going into the asset lifecycle consoles, a user with the right security group should have the ability to perform bulk edits. It's not efficient to go and edit 1 asset at a time. Especially if a user was using the exceptions reporting and found 3000 assets were missing a value of some property from the exceptions filtering, it makes sense to bulk edit them.

12. Ability to turn off / hide sidebar navigation

    Customers that dont license Performance Metrics will be forced to use the sidebar navigation as well as a 'home page' configured to show just the applications or specific 'buckets' of common tasks/functions.

    With the lack of performance metrics for these users, having the left-hand nav and the task based home page will be redundant. Would be nice to still enable one method or the other.

13. GIS - the configuration process on Archibus with Esri API and Leaflet API

    Under Technologies , Archibus provides 3 types of GIS views, standard, advanced and leaflet views.
    we hope Archibus can provide more detail information about how we can configure and implement Esri and LeafLet API on Archibus application to meet the client's needs, and what servers the clients need to prepare for.

    like how to :
    1. load client's asset schema.
    2. configure client's map document data.
    3. publish maps.
    4. differentiate those existing ArcGIS OOTB activity parameters.
    5. configure the tokens(what is the token authentication for?)
    6. use import/export connector
    7. export a map view into a report
    etc..

    Can there be some sort of table structure that store records of extra field definitions without needing to add a new field via customization? Then the reports can also look for these extra fields? That way administrators can quickly create new fields for a table.

16. Workflow to update employee locations based on teams, contingency location, hoteling or reserved locations

    Traditionally, there's a em.bl_id field storing where someone is as assigned seating and the locate the employee reports only look at that location. Can there be a workflow that just runs somehow to evaluate whether someone is at a hoteling desk right now or at a team location so that when we search for where employees are or find an employee we can to find them by their current location?

    For example it would be nice for there to be a configurable parameter so system admins can decide the order of priority of how the system should determine where someone is located ie. the first order is by a booked workstation, then a designate team space, then at contingency or not and then finally the employee designed assigned seating?

19. Enhance Archibus visualization capabilities like 3D with a plugins to Rvizto

    Revizto is a 3D visualization platform used by the AEC industry to examine 3D facilities during design and construction and collaborate between all stakeholders to locate issues, clashes and the like. Ther is no reason for us to reinvent the wheel. There is an opportunity here to connect to integrate this platform into Archibus, via a plugin, and go beyond our system console to visualize all services and actions, like surveys in 3D or 2D in a very robust way.

20. Enable Multi-Currency within Building Operations

    We have a customer who operates a centralised Facility Management team and their responsibilities include management of some smaller sites in foreign counties. They perform maintenance works (i.e. Building Operations) and asset management from their head office, and would like to record all related costs in the local currency pertaining to each site, with the ability to convert currency values to their “home” currency for reporting purposes.

    However, at present, the Multi-Currency feature of Archibus is available only within the Real Estate Portfolio Management domain. This customer has explicitly asked if/when the Multi-Currency feature will be extended to the Building Operations domain, and would be very keen for it to also be available within the Asset Management domain as well.

    This customer is a significant education institution, with over 11,000 staff and approximately 90,000 students. They are presently utilising Archibus v21 but are actively engaging the marketplace for upgrade and/or replacement options.
