  1. There should be an ability to report on user activity and access in system administrator. Currently the only way administrators do this is to go to the back end to get the log files.

    Unfortunately the report called "Users logged into Archibus" on webcentral is more for a point in time but also doesn't not quite show activity.

    The report I am referring to is a way to see at at a summary, ie. today 150 users logged in, most used activities are Space Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, Hoteling for example.

    With ability to drill down to see further details…

  2. Both applications have some key features that the other does have. Implementers are faced with making the decision whether or not to use hoteling or use reservations to satisfy the client requirements.

    For example if we're comparing highlights:
    Reservation:
    -Calendar console views
    -outlook plug in reservations
    -Time selection

    Hoteling:
    -Back to work Cleaning functionality
    -better access to change this data within space management
    -utilization and occupancy reports reflect on this data set

    If they were merged, all that would be needed is a some sort reservation type field to track if a calendar event is created or if there's shifts…

  3. The capacity management feature that’s new to v25.4 was a welcome sight and it’s a feature that many clients have been looking forward to. There has been some feedback on ways to improve the feature and increase its flexibility.

    • It’s missing the ability to set different capacities for different floors in a building.
    o Currently setting the Occupancy Target % will apply the same value for each floor. Even though a good number of cases will be fine, there are times it will differ and being able to set it at the floor level would be helpful.

  4. The Users

    Booker = The logged in user making the reservation
    Organizer = The employee specified in the Organizer field
    Attendee = A visitor added below the Organizer field

    The Emails

    1) The email with ICS attachment will go to the Booker and Attendees as long as an at least 1 attendee is added.
    2) The email without the ICS attachment will go to the Organizer and Booker if no attendees are added.

    To remain consistent, my suggestion is for the Organizer, Booker, and Attendees get an email in both cases and for the ICS attachment be included in both…

  5. When booking for another employee it would be preferable that both the employee that booked the workspace and the employee that the workspace was booked for have the ability to cancel the booking. Currently, only the employee that the workstation was booked for has access to the booking. However, employees with a disability may not be able to cancel their booking, therefore the employee that made the booking on their behalf should also be able to cancel the booking.

  7. We should be able to at least see the equipment information when scanning the QR Code.

    We are expecting that as much information is visible in the Workplace App on scanning the QR Code for any equipment, at least the same information should also be displayed on the Onsite App

  8. Regardless of the user's language setting, the calendar of the reservation screen uses the American format - week starts from Sunday.

    Also the days are not indicated in the calendar (there is no top row with S - M - T- W - T- F- S)

    The calendar format should change according to user's language preference (if other than US English, the week should start from Monday). At minimum, the calendar should have the days on the top.

  9. Condition assessments are essential to determining Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and being able to manage/budget for the life cycle of a company's Real Property portfolio. A new Condition Assessment Console with new features that brings more data together from other ARCHIBUS modules would make great strides to making the Condition Assessment module an essential part of a company's tool set for an end to end facility management program. Please see attached example of how the State of Minnesota developed a Condition Assessment Console for internal use.

  10. Workplace to accept parameters.

    The following is a use case:

    A client has an internet page you can find a location, employee etc. Example find John Doe, then from the internet page you select John's location and it launches workplace and displays the Johns location on a floor plan.

  11. As a buyer of workplace and asset management software, I want the system to have one way to publish floor plans from CAD or BIM, and to deliver those floor plans to the web or mobile platform for use, so that I have one set of source files and a consistent process of converting/delivering drawings.

  12. Better slider functionality – time displayed isn’t time you select. Also the ability to enter time with keystrokes or drop down menu instead of a slider. Mobile phone users find the slider difficult.

    In Release V2022.02, on meeting space bookings, with Accessibility Mode enabled or on a mobile device, the timeline slider interaction has been replaced with dropdown menus for selecting a meeting start and end time.

  13. We have a use case scenario to download the data locally in the Onsite App.

    Case 1
    When the data is downloading, we need to keep the phone screen on, we have touch the screen again and again, if the phone backlight goes off, the downloading pauses.

    Case 2
    When the data is downloading, we cannot even minimize the app, if we do, the downloading pauses even worse sometimes, it starts again from the start.

    Assuming the Offline data to be preapred takes 30 minutes to download, then it's very frustating for the user to keep the Onsite App open…

  14. While filling the checklist in the Onsite App, there is no "." decimal button to add point places.

    Example :
    In the Onsite App, I have a work Request assigned to a technician and he has to fill the checklist.

    While filling the checklist, there is a number field where he need to input the reading of the pressure of a equipment.

    The meter reading value is "34.21"
    In the above value, the user is only able to input 34 value in the number field and there is no point / decimal (".") button in the number keypad.
