  1. We are seeing more RFPs with a requirement for a cloud/hosted solution with MFA. We can implement this if the customer wants SAML and rely on the customer's MFA capability, but otherwise we have a gap in our solution. It would be helpful if the standard Archibus solution either contained MFA capability out of the box or easily integrated with a service provider. I believe we are going to see this requirement a lot more in the near future for any cloud deployments.

As of v25.1, when a specific user has less than 10 applications assigned to them, the top-level (or starting point) of the navigator will be at the Application level, rather than the Domain level. There are no settings to control this behavior OOTB. Any sort of change to this behavior would be a customization to the navigator's design.

    Now in v25, what level the Navigator starts on is a variable that has to be considered when providing tech support, instructions, documentation, etc.

  3. The support for Internet Explorer was removed for some later point releases of V24.* and then in V25.1. There's some good cases why it should be brought back.

    With everyone now staying at home working for the most part and most organizations have also switched to Microsoft Teams. Teams gives people a chance to create a channel and add a tab for example the URL/website tab. Here it becomes an easy transition for change management to just put in the ARCHIBUS/workplace for example as the URL. It appears Teams is using Internet Explorer for displaying a URL within teams.   4. As a maintenance organization we would like the system to create work requests from e-mails addressed to our group. The system would create a ticket from the information in the e-mail.

  5. If you have a large dataset, any view with trees takes a long time to load. The Define Locations is a perfect example. There is no option to cancel the process once it has started, so you are stuck waiting for all of the data to load when you first enter the form. Update stock so these views do not load data when the form initially loads.

  6. The Notification template that are used in compliance allows controlling before and after events, emails would be very useful to send missed due dates for work request. We had a client that required an action to send a reminder to carry out the satisfaction survey 5 days after the first (Completion) email was sent if the survey was not complete. We found this to be very difficult. I believe the notification function would have been purfect for this.

  7. There is a major flaw in the current mobile maintenance app, their date and time a craftsperson is due to carry out work is not clear, it's no good just displaying the Date to perform the task if the cf is due to arrive a 2 pm there is no display of this information, at least not until they have got to the CF data and even then the scheduled time is not shown. This is a major issue for a client that are actually fully using the scheduling tasks. It would be very useful for the cf to have…

  8. Before the Report a problem screen, the creative work request screens included the date/time required fields as part of the form. This is vital so people report problems or requesting work to carry out can indicate the specific date and time the work is required. As this was an option in the past and the fields are still in the database, this is some way ready to go.

    1. The Work Request created from a Reservation should have all the details from the Reservation.
    2. The Problem Types for pre and post works should be configurable.
    3. There should be a more robust way to configure the SLA for this Problem Types, including a Work Team and not just a Trade.
    4. Rooms should remain blocked for reservations until the after cleaning work is complete (regardless of the post block previously configured).
    5. All this should be implemented also for Hoteling (i.e. Hoteling bookings should also have the option of generating pre and post cleaning works)

  10. Morning - parameter (start time and end time)
    Afternoon - parameter (start time and end time)
    This will allow or enable a gap between Morning and Afternoon for Cleaning, Sanitization, or refreshing or bookable rooms.

  12. Even if you have the "Enable Lookups" option turned on, any drawing view that uses legends still only shows the code and does not show description. In general, it would be helpful for all end users to see both the code and description in a drawing legend (regardless of the Enable Lookups option)

  13. A number of use cases have come up to consider for future phases of the Archibus-Serraview integration

    Phase 1A:

    Most important is to enable agile workplace management in Serraview, through the use of the VBS. Syncing back to Archibus at a minimum involves department allocation to rooms, room category assignments, and people located to floors (as the lowest common element).

  14. When adding a room number to a form - rather than have the ... button to select from a list of rooms, it would be nice if the list option AND drawing option buttons were added by default.

    This way creating a new form w/ View Def Wizard would be able to include a drawing selection w/out customization.

  15. It seems very apparent that different parts of the application are developed by different groups with different 'design' teams...

    For example - create a maintenance request in workplace, you can select the location from a drawing; Create a move in workplace, you can only select from a list of rooms - drawing should be an option for all room selections in workplace

    Another example - In hotelling, to set rooms as hotellable, you have to drill down to a room via a tree view; SEtting rooms as reservable in Room Reservations, you have a filter console to search - so…

  16. What I would love to see from a portfolio summary/dashboard is a way to view/adjust occupancy.

    Something like this…

    Total Headcount
    Total Seat Capacity
    Total anticipated WFH %
    Total seats required with WFH %
    Total anticipated seat to headcount ratio (1:1.5)

    Ideally, we could dial this up or down to see how it impacts portfolio overall.

For organizations that are not using hoteling through an extension to the end user base but rather an idea of allocating of flexible workspaces space to teams for a short period of time, teams seems like the best place to store this. The only challenge is the teams, which allows us to associate rooms to a organization or a department field, doesn't affect the chargebacks. It would be nice to bring that information over for chargebacks from the team data over.   19. Currently, we can design as many print template as needed, however, users must choose and hard-code one print template per export feature (one template for PDF one for Doc)

    I suggest allowing users to select the desired template from a dropdown menu. This will allow users to design print layouts by paper size, recipient, or purpose and, when needed, just select the preferred template from a print menu.
