  1. One of our customer did a comprehensive InfoSec audit to validate Archibus as a safe product. One medium point was about the logs that one can view from SmartClient. They seems to disclose too much data (server version), especially when errors occur (jdk version, tomcat version, etc.)
    It would be nice to raise security, here are some hints :
    - password protect logs viewing
    - have verbose levels
    - have a server settings / rights to hide "view logs" buttons (security group ?)

  2. Multiple clients looking to have notifications as soon as a reservation requiring approval is made instead of having to either constantly check if reservations exist that need approval or wait for the checkRoomAndResourcesApproval email to look at emails past their approval time. Right now there is basically no way to know a reservation that comes in that requires approval if it is for the same day as the reservation as made and many reservations or passing reservation time without approval because no one knows that there is a reservation requiring approval.

  3. When we arrive into the Lease Portfolio Console.
    A country is automatically selected in the filter according to the language chosen in the user profile.
    If in English -> GBR
    If in French - > FRA
    Etc.

    The idea is to remove this automatic filter, or at best to be able to create filters yourself.

  4. Currently the only linkage between lease management to work orders or service tickets is the idea of a location. Work requests can be associated through an account code but that's about it.

    An ability to see service request/work requests tied to a lease would be excellent. This will need to work both ways, where service and maintenance can link to a lease ticket.

    1. It would be nice if the license was simply checking to see if lease and (maintenance or service device) are acquired modules and then display a tab in lease management to views service tickets.

  5. Tracking changes to Asset status, condition etc..

    We use the basic Asset Portal, and accept this has limited functionality over the full Enterprise asset management module. However our requirements have changed and we need better management of lifecycle changes to our assets. On seeking further information on the enterprise asset management module capabilities i was disappointed to find out it didn't meet our needs, which i think are a fair requirement. These are:

    If we make changes to an assets condition, i.e. Good > Poor > bad etc at each occasion where this change is made we want the changes…

  6. When the requestor enters a Department Contact for a move, the contact receives an email with a link to view the move, but that is it. For a lot of groups that contact is the admin and they would like for the moves they are "tagged" in to show up under "Examine My Moves" for tracking and reference.

  7. This would be similar to the Maintenance History section in work requests, which shows a history of all work requests placed for that piece of equipment. I would like to see this concept expanded to work requests that don't have equipment codes, where the maintenance history would show the work requests for the room code. This would help reduce the number of requests for the same scope of work.

  8. Previously, for On premise versions, Archibus had some configuration files that allowed the authorization process (to give a role to the user based on an AD security group). In SaaS, this is not possible as it is not considered as a standard feature.
    The suggestion is to add this process as standard for SaaS, as there are several companies that require it. The process would work like this:
    • Customer IT team creates the needed groups in AD, using archibus-identifiable encoding (e.g., starting with an ARCH prefix)
    • Archibus admins create new roles in Archibus, with the same encoding than…

  9. It would be ideal if we had User Defined Fields in the Projects table in addition to the other tables these are now available in. We have currently added 6 new fields and are using some existing fields in a way different from there original purpose.

  10. Make it possible for admins to add a banner on the Workplace pages to inform users e.g. of an upcoming maintenance or new features.

    It should also be possible to add a link in the banner, directing users to a page with more info (e.g instructions for using a new feature).

  11. In both mobile and desktop application, Once a checklist has been completed the ability to generate this checklist into a PDF and sent (email) it to a recipients (who may be not archibus users).

    Scenario we are providing a service on an asset or location and the Work request has a Checklist involved. Once completed we need to supply documented evidence of the works completed and a copy of the service checks.   13. Since 2022.01 the overview at a glance is missing in the building ops console. Pre 2022.01 one could quickly see the scheduled or estimated work orders and the 'next actions' were marked with an asteriks.
    The new console has a lot of enhancements, but that status overview is missing.
    From ARCHIBUS Support I got the info that a modification is in the pipeline to get the an overview of the status by hovering instead of having to select an actual work request.

    Imho showing a few additional flags (asterisk, pending actions) would be very usefull in addition to that hovering…

  14. The new Define locations screen has great Feature allowing the user to select additional field to display. The current view locations fields does not have the same look/feel /function.

    The new define locations screen should have a read only version (just remove the update function).

    this enable us to have consistent training and use of the functions across the organisation

  15. The selection of available field so enable users to add additional existing fields to the select fields. This list is currently limited and should be customisable to expand the list of field available.
    If a custom user defined field has been added, it should be made available in this menu. The solution should be applied to all areas to give greater access to other data in the table

  17. As an admin I can delete bookings one at a time from the floor map and the end user is not updated. I would like to see the same ability (either by check box or switch to toggle the ability to send the notification )

  18. We would like to be able to create “groups” of rms in order to allow booking of a non-specific workpoint in a selection of workpoint without having to re-draw an open space polyline on top of our individuals workpoints polylines to create a “group”.

    For example, we have spaces where employees are mobile during the day and can use multiple workstations depending on the task performed. We want these employees to book a "space” among a group of workpoints available for them without having to specify which one so they book a “capacity” and we can manage occupancy. So if…

  20. Smart client currently does not allow mass deletion via the Transfer feature. Only add and update. To delete you have to do it one by one or edit all entries in a way that allows for identification of deletion and delete screen by screen.

    This is very difficult to maintain correct tables for User Security and Employees.
