  2. When you look at the numbers in Hotel Savings by Building and Hotel Savings by Departments reports, you will notice that it only includes employees and rooms assigned to department.
    Also, some em.emid do not match the rmptc.emid but they are counted.

    From the help file:

  3. When you look at the number of Employees and number of Visitors in the Location tab of the Bookings for a Date Range report, you will notice that the number of employees also includes those who booked for visitors.

    From the help file:
    • Employees = COUNT DISTINCT Employee Names for all the bookings on that floor for the filter criteria
    • Visitors = COUNT DISTINCT Visitor Names for all the bookings on that floor on that floor for the filter criteria

  4. Currently as soon as the user launches a new space chargeback calculation the results of previous calculations are cleared and there is no way of getting them back other than re-launching the chargeback with exactly the same parameters.
    Would it be possible to store in a permanent way such results, so that users will be able to access them over time and perhaps do monitoring/reporting?

  5. SmartClient SAML sign-in opens an authorization form popup, which shows the Web Central home page after authentication succeeds.
    The user then needs to click the OK button to close the authorization form.

    It would be nice if SmartClient closes the authorization form automatically once the Web Central home page loaded successfully.

  6. There are views in the product which aren't setup to adopt any security groups for accessing things such as the buttons to save.

    For example the: Project Management Console, Lease Management Console

    Client seem to like these views but in large organizations, some of that data was setup so there are VPAs for certain data to be visible to the client.   7. In 2022.02, in order for users to quickly make use of features such as scanning a QR code or booking through a Kiosk, the guest account has to be enabled. The problem with the guest account is the password cannot be changed easily if a client doesn't have access the environment as it's hardcoded in a few areas of the product (/schema/ab-products/essential/dev/workplace/src/utils/authentication.js and /schema/ab-core/views/sign-in/ab-sign-in.js). The other problem is because of this, every environment in 2022.02 would have the same password for the guest account.   8. I would suggest having the possibility to add multiple parts for a single step in a procedure in order to have an estimation more accurate (or actually useful, because we can't even use the feature as it's limiting to single part) per step.
    I would definitely explore the use of Bill of Material (BOM) that could be useful for specific to pmp or specific to pms (because sometimes the procedure is the same, but based on the equipment, as example, filter sizes can differ).

When user session expired in Smart client, the user will get the “Unable to connect to WebCentral server at the specified URL….” Error message and then he need to go back to the login screen to check the SAML authentication. Client found it annoying that everyday they have to close the error dialog, re-choose the project so that they can go into the login screen, then re-choose the option to pick on "USE SAML authentication" and then wait for a minute to get the login screen to load.   10. In the browser offering the availability of the Workplace App once the user has selected to not use the App by choosing 'X' to close the offering, stop offering to use the Workplace App after so many closes.

  11. The Space Console should be able to display multiple layers, rather then just the default room id and 1 other. For example it would be useful to be able to display both Employee Name and Room Area

  12. Better control of zoom and layers when exporting to PDF.

    Currently it appears that Archibus is not able to apply layer control and zoom factor settings at the same time during printing process. This is a critical issue which is impacting on the quality of the service that we can provide to the client.

  13. When you use assign view for asset, you see only them in the view.
    If you want to see assets and employees on same view, you have put symbol of assets and employees on Revit and then through space console you have both.
    Is it possible to see same data of employees and assets only through assign view ?

  14. The workplace has actually garnered a lot of positive feedback, where it seems to be missing is dealing with the client base that wants to do more with it where it would be more streamlined if the workplace can be the place to enter in a project and to enter in incidents.

    When these are created then the incident would have the service request tied to it and when the project request is made, hopefully a ticket can be associated to it because the service desk component can potentially be leverage to enable an approval process there.

  15. BIRT reporting is very important for many of our users. Withdrawing support for BIRT would create a serious problem for them, and would be perceived by clients as a breach of trust. Tech support reports that support will continue only if the BP community expresses interest.

    Other clients have also expressed interest in starting to use BIRT reports, and it is a tool that is useful for us to fulfill functional requirements (e.g., providing a presentable Lease Invoice, not the embarrassingly poor one that uses Archibus native reporting.)

  18. Currently, there is very little control over how fields are placed and displayed within a paginated report column panel. It would be nice for it to respect attributes like colspan and rowspan so that fields can be placed in an order that makes sense.

  19. Some customers want to index not only the base rent, but also additonal rent or fixed costs.

  20. One of our customer (on premise) is using Ping Certificate to handle SSO connexions.
    While WebCentral works perfectly, SmartClient does not allow connexion.

    After a deep enquiry with Archibus support, we ended up discovering that Ping Certificate's response consist in a multi-dimensional cookie, not supported by SmartClient.

    The demand is to improve SmartClient to also support multi-dimensional cookies (best guess : contact the Ping editor).
