Completed Checklist converted to PDF and sent as email attachment on request
In both mobile and desktop application, Once a checklist has been completed the ability to generate this checklist into a PDF and sent (email) it to a recipients (who may be not archibus users).
Scenario we are providing a service on an asset or location and the Work request has a Checklist involved. Once completed we need to supply documented evidence of the works completed and a copy of the service checks. The ability to immediately email this or email it later in PDF format give the ability to provide evidence of service. This is the same expectations we have on contractors that provide us with services. The burden of providing tangible service evidence to support any invoicing. If we are using Archibus to provides a revise to a customer we should have the ability to attach these checklists as evidence to our customers.

The idea below does not address the generation of a PDF checklist, but it may help you to generate a emailed version of the checklist. I cannot say for certain as we are only about to update to have the checklist capability. However assuming the checklist is located in a Work Request DB field(s) then it is likely that you could generate an email template containing the variable checklist that would be sent out to any email address in an Archibus field (plus static or alias addresses) using the flexible Archibus add-on NotifyRT. For more information contact your assigned integrator and point them to https://www.asc-rt.com/services/. We use it for all our system generated emails.

The are so many reasons that this is important, and all of the ones suggested are definitely warranted. SWG has created a Permit to a work function that allows for Pertmit as questionnaires. The problem we have is printing out the questionnaires.
The lack of reports linked to checklists is very worrying. We are trying to encourage clients to use this function more but being able to fill in a checklist is great. but not being able to properly report and action on the finding from within this checklist response is causing a lot of negative feedback.
Proper access to chick list data after the work has been archived is also a big must-have. If the client is going to go fully paperless then the checklist response needs to be accessible everywhere the work request data is accessed and all statuses, especially history. A lot of this work is statutory, and access to evidence is a must without it the system is of little help to prove work was completed and the correct check is in place with the results.

There could also be a concept of re-generating the resulting PDF into the work request as a document attached to that work request

The ability to save a completed checklist in PDF would be a huge benefit. The existing Maintenance Survey Report could be enhanced to enable these options. Especially since once a work request is Complete and Closed there is no way of getting back to the Checklist. Accessibility from Search and Manage would be ideal.
