  1. As a Lease Administrator, I need to record one lease that covers suites in multiple buildings, so that we can track financial data (costs) for the same lease together.

    This is a case, were one lease contract was signed for multiple buildings that are attached. The client may have leased several suites in each building, but they are covered by the same lease contract and need to be recorded in Archibus as one lease.

  2. When you define a preventive maintenance (PM) procedure, you can add one or more step(s). This is not mandatory but a step will match a work request (WR) when PM work orders (WO) are generated. This means that if you generate PM WO for a procedure without at least one step, no WO will be generated at all!

    This should ideally be improved and a sort of check be implemented. For example upon scheduling the PM tasks by warning the user that it is no use scheduling a PM procedure that has no steps.

  4. When the Clear Highlight command is run, both Labels and Highlights are cleared even if the labels are on a layer layer not named -TMP. In the past, employee names that were populated as part of the afm_occup and placed on the layer TX-EMP and NOT TMP layer remained intact after the clear highlights was run, now the names are disappearing.

    I was told the previous behavior was actually a bug, but this functionality, or at least an option to keep labels or highlights and not remove both is useful. For example - do not want to repeat the entire…

  5. It appears as though even the newest versions of ARCHIBUS are shipping with an SFTP .jar/library for use with the connectors which is no longer supported by a number of SFTP hosts as it is out of date.

    The current edtftpj-pro.jar file appears to have been procured from the third part vendor enterprisedt.com and is version 5.2.4 which was released back in 2017. There have been 10 subsequent releases with the latest being v7.1.0.

    SFTP based export connectors are no longer usable without work arounds for a number of clients as a result.

  6. Currently in Archibus Workplace, employees can only search for a meeting space or desk in their assigned building. Companies that have multiple buildings in a small geography need the ability to find any space across the multiple buildings and still see a list of spaces that match the search criteria. In order to accomplish this now, the employee has to use the "Buildings" list button and run the same search multiple times.

  7. Every Organization has a slightly different way of managing project and tracking details. Allowing users to add these fields via configuration will make the implementation of this module easier.

    Also, allowing the user to decide on which fields show up on the Project Management Console and the Project Dashboard will be a huge win.

  8. Since the very first version of the Smart Client Extensions for AutoCAD the command AFV is no longer available.

    AFV is a function that allows the AutoCAD designer to choose which Asset fields to show when performing a catalog layer.
    As this function is used from within AutoCAD it gives the user the flexibility to temporarily change the assets texts in specific drawings.

    The Smart Client Extenions for AutoCAD does include a global setting per Asset called Set Asset Text Visibility.

  9. In the Maintenance Console I noticed that there is a spot to update “Other Costs”. Our operation uses this function on a regular basis for special order items that we do not normally stock or to enter in Vendor details (such if we pay Culligan and need to document the cost for their services) however I noticed that once the information is initially entered that the information cannot be edited.
    In the view below – for example- the company TMI Heat was not originally set as a “resource type” therefore someone just chose General.

As it stands, I have to sit at my house the whole time-frame in which a maintenance is expected to come, which is from 9AM to 9PM, without knowing whether anyone is coming, has come by and I've missed them, or even intends to come by today. The result is that I end having an unnecessarily wasted day.

  12. Rework the lease console to include and improve the lease of Tagged Assets, specifically equipment.

    The lease console is a good utility to manage leases, however, it is specifically geared towards real estate, as evident by its location on the navigator and terminology. In the past, Archibus supported TA leases with separate tables and views but non with modern UI or UX like the console.

  14. The current BOMA calculations are not complete for BOMA 2017. Focus on Method A, but most would carry over to Method B. Missing Inter-Building Amenity and Service Areas and Reallocated Rentable Area which are the major changes/benefits of version 2017. Vert Pen is also no longer relevant, this area should be included in Rentable Exclusions.

Please allow a way for the Space Console, and other views that can display a drawing, to automatically select a border highlight as soon as the drawingController is defined (please see attached screenshot). Border highlights are highly used and we would like to be able to show a specific border highlight on drawing load instead of having to either manually select it after a drawing is loaded or think of workarounds on the JavaScript code.

    Organizer = The employee specified in the Organizer field
    Attendee = A visitor added below the Organizer field

    1) The email with ICS attachment will go to the Booker and Attendees as long as an at least 1 attendee is added.
    2) The email without the ICS attachment will go to the Organizer and Booker if no attendees are added.

  17. This is a common ask from the craftsperson to be able to see the hours they have submitted for the Day/Week/Month.
    If there was a pre-existing report for the CF that gave them this information on the mobile and WC it would be very beneficial. Lot of times, they use this this information to enter their timesheets in the HR system as well.

  18. Currently, a Move Coordinator can be selected from any Employee. This should be limited to a small set of Employees. This could be done by a Security Group or a new flag on the EM table.

    Group Moves' Project Manager has the same problem, but this field should be replaced by Move Coordinator. (Project Manager should only be editable in Project Management.)

  19. Move Action Types get defined with a default Problem Type. It would be great if when you create a new move Action, it populated the problem type according to the stored default value for that Action Type.

  20. A calendar type view (like the Labor Scheduler View) that allows our craftsperson's to see their upcoming work by day / week / month for work that is assigned to them. The ability to see the block of time that the work is scheduled to complete and when a work request is selected, the pop up displays the work request details.
