Better location identification for service requests.
It would be useful to be able to put a pin on a site map to identify a specific location for exterior service calls that do not adhere to a building/floor/room criteria. We regularly submit service calls to our Grounds division and it would be useful to accurately locate a problem area.

Update Display Order of User Defined Field
Upon creating a User Defined Field, the system generates the field to be at the bottom of the list under 'Other Details'. There is currently no way available for users/administrators to re-order the field from within the UI and requires an update to the view files directly.
Having the ability to change the order UDF's display at least within the 'Other Details' section would be very helpful for end-users.

(GIS) Views - Add Labels
Currently for the Geographic Information System (GIS)/ESRI views there is no functionality to display labels on the objects. The user must scroll over the object to see a tooltip with its associated information.
Please add the functionality to display labels on the objects similar to the Space Console or other floorplan views.

Have a Site tier above Buildings in Hoteling
In Hoteling and Booking a workspace in Workplace, users want to see the site tier above buildings. In large organizations with numerous buildings this would be extremely useful.

Do not show Create Request in QR for rooms (configurable)
You should be able to hide the service request button (and recent service request) from the QR for spaces.
In this case, the spaces are being used for Hoteling so the service request button should not be visible if you configure it that way through application parameters.4 votes -
Operations Cost Reporting
Archibus work requests capture costs broken out by labor, materials, tools and other. But after the work order completion, all of the out of the box reports only report the total cost of the work requests. Facilities Managers regularly need to understand the costs aggregated by cost type; for example: Labor vs Material.
Can Archibus consider adding a group by "Cost Type" dimension on out of the box reports including:
1. Cost of Completed Work Requests (ab-ondemand-report-cost-tabs.axvw)
2. Completed Work Requests Budgets and Costs (ab-bldgops-report-compl-wr-budget-cost.axvw)
3. Maintenance Report Builder (ab-bldgops-report-console.axvw)
4. Cost Analysis (ab-bldgops-rpt-dash-cost-analysis.axvw)In addition, a few more OOTB…

Move Console, bring back the counts on the move detail tabs
In the move Console, when one opens up the details of a group move, there used to be counts of Employees, New Hires, Employees Leaving, Equipment and Furniture but now they are gone. Please bring them back because it was helpful to see if there's data in those tabs.

Project Management Budget/Actuals Variance reporting
In my experience with various clients that are using this module we have found the structure of the Project Budget versus Actuals makes it very tedious for clients to manage the financials in ARCHIBUS.
Typical Capital Project Scenarios are as follows:
Organizations have a set budget for Capital construction/Renovation projects. They setup work packages which are contracted to vendors. The vendors submit the invoices at actuals. There are some internal costs but these are minimal.In ARCHIBUS, they setup the Budget numbers on the Action Items. The actuals are recorded under the Work Package/Contract/Invoices.
The variance reports don't take this…

Add a label in the Space Console to indicate that Advanced Filter is applied
If you are using the advanced filter In the space console, and cross-reference parameters there is no visual indication or label that suggests a filter is applied.
for example, if filter the Space Console to show: room status restricted by Department and Day of the Week, I would like that restriction to show as a label on the floorplan view.

Workplace - Show/Hide Catalog options by Role
Would like a way to show/hide Catalog options based on a User Role versus On or Off globally? This includes both items available in the Service Catalog as well the Find Person, Room or Equipment. Some Sites may need options available for one site but not another.

Building Operations Console Super User
It would be great if we had a security group or some way to grant certain users access to see and monitor all work requests. Currently, even if you are a member of all teams, if there is a supervisor assigned to the request that is not you, you cannot see those requests.

Ability to communicate between Outlook and Work Requests
Users would have the ability to provide communication updates bidirectionally to and from Outlook to the Work Request and it would be tracked as a communication log.

digital signature
A client has asked about the option to enable a Digital Signatures for maintenance. There was some sort of help file illustrating this to be possible on the mobile https://www.archibus.net/ai/abizfiles/v25.4_help/archibus_help/user_en/archibus.htm#whats_new23/dig_signature.htm?Highlight=digital%20signature
that is if customized.Since it's been a while since this help file has surfaced, can there be the functionality available on webcentral and mobile? It would be nice to have that in the SLA wizard where someone can specify at what step a digital signature from what service agreement role is needed. Ie such as an approver or a supervisor.

email
email errors are logged in the archibus.log file. If a client does not have email setup, it still logs all the errors about unable to send an email because it can not connect to the email server. this loads up the archibus.log file with a LOT of errors that are unimportant.
the software should have a way to turn off the email notifications logging without turning off other logging of other things.5 votes -
Hoteling Available Rooms should work with Back2Work / Day in Office
If an employee is assigned to a room set to Hotelable=Yes and has their “Days in Office” set to 2 days, the space should be available the rest of the days, but it doesn’t work this way.
When trying to book a room, availability is defined by a few different thing, the part that I’m concerned with is:
Current: If Room Capacity less than Count of Employees assigned.
Proposed: If Room Capacity less than Count of Employees assigned to work that day.Example is that I’m assigned a room in the employee table for Tuesday & Thursday. My room’s record…

OIDC/OAuth2 for Smart Client
Hi there,
We have some activity switching to Open ID Connect (the login arm of OAuth2) for Archibus authentication. The remote user configuration can be adapted to work for Web Central, and it seems to work on most mobile devices as well. However, the Smart Client login process does not support this. It would be great to have the additional option for clients as OAuth2 for ID becomes more widespread.

Mobile client 4.0
Are there going to be any changes in mobile 4.0 that may address additional data fields such as "Due Date" and "Date of escalation"
Our concern is that the only data which is provided on the mobile app as far as dates, is the date the work was requested and there is not field for Due Date
We are wanting to ensure that we don’t miss out on getting any work requests (especially critical PM’s) completed before the due date or escalation date as our goal is that 100% of critical PM’s are done on time.

Move List report
Add an excel based move list report which can be sent to various stakeholders in addition to the paginated word report which is long and tedious to read for larger moves.
This should collate all the various move items from the different tabs with some key information on the move project.
(employee, new hire, leaving employees, asset, etc)Please see the attached sample for typical fields to include.
