EZ hatch. Love this senior add on to ARCHIBUS - it runs through AutoCAD and provides the ability to filter, hatch and define great output. This output can run through the evening through microsoft scheduler.

Allow supervisors or administrators to delete work logs
Starting in 25.3, craftsperson enter time as "Work Logs". These cannot be deleted via the Maintenance Console like assignments could previously.
We’re finding that many craftspersons don’t care for the start/stop functionality in the Mobile app and manually enter their hours on Mobile or the Maintenance Console. Supervisors and admins are still expecting to be able to edit and remove work logs when needed. It is not uncommon for there to be mistakes that need corrected.
Ideally, either supervisors would have the ability to delete these, or a security group could be added to control permissions for deleting work logs.

Reliability Centered Maintenance - (RCM) - Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
I have been reviewing the requirement for a client and there has been a lot of questions relating to data analysis to assist with maintenance planning and strategy. It would be good if we were able to provide some extension to include multiple function associated to a individual asset or an asset as a standard so the we can offer risk determined by the function that is of issue and which could then predefine the priority of the an action to resolve the issue. Workplace - Search using a combination of words
The search function is not robust enough to search a combination of words that are in 2 areas (i.e. Computer Lab; Room Category: Computer and Room Type: Lab) hence not being able to search through staff’s first and last name.

Allow Users to Cancel or Edit reservations after they have started
Settings should be available to allow users to edit a reservation after it has started. Situations arise (ie. illness, change in plans) where it would be ideal for the user to shorten or delete the reservation to allow others to use the room.

Ability to add to the standard work request fields in the maint. console
In the maintenance console you have to option to add additional work request fields to the standard console view. We feel this is a essential function for our work planners to see a bit more info of each request without have to open the request itself. But everyone one needs to add these and not everybody remembers or adds the ones we recommend, and we have to re add them each browser session we open.
Could there not be an app. parameter (or thing of the like) where we can set the fields we want to appear for each user…

Improve the coherence between missed work in PM Planner and overdue work in Maintenance Console
The PM Planner tracks missed work based on the PM schedules, even when WO/WR are generated:
Missed (Work Order Not Generated) -- woid IS NULL and datelatest < today
Missed (Work Order Not Completed) -- woid IS NOT NULL and datecompleted IS NULL and date_latest < todayWhereas the Maintenance Console tracks overdue (and escalated) work based on the escalation date of the WR (wr.dateescalationcompletion).

Mobile Maintenance module Sync performance
The sync performance on the maintenance module of the Mobile app is utterly awful. Its not clear to the user if its carrying out a full background data sync or just partial sync of updating information. it seems to sync so many variables/field/tables which are not in use, updated, or effected by the data to sync. The end user experience is really bad. This MUST be made better and more seamless to the end user.

Room Capacity for Support Space such as Conference rooms should not be included in Capacity
When calculating capacity for a building / floor, there is overlap in how the capem field is used. If the space is non-occupiable, such a s a conference room but there is a number in the capem field, this is included in the capacity of the floor. Many times this field is used to store how many seats the room has for reservation purposes, and should not affect the the floor capacity.
Either a separate field for this capacity, of modification of how space console and other views count capacity to exclude the conference type spaces.select rm…

Request a Project via the workplace
The workplace has gotten a lot of good attention. Sometimes clients are asking for methods to request a project request over the workplace.
This can be done via the method of the service request where a type of service request is a project. It may not necessarily fill out all the details of a project but this allows people to request for:
-office reconfigurations (construction projects)
-Condition assessments requests
-Hazardous Assessment requests

Project Comparison
Some projects are feasibility studies and not the actual, it would be great with Archibus could handle some scenario planning around projects.
Basically it would need the following:
1. an ability to replicate a project an set as a scenario project
2. a report to compare the performance of two projects based on factors such as a prioritization matrix, risk etc.
3. There are reports like the project scorecard which evaluates costs vs schedule but there is currently no way to only compare a few selected projects with that report.

Compliance Room Lookup
In the Assign Location to Compliance view the Rooms lookup does not show Room name or Room Type/Category. This makes it very difficult to select the room that need to be assigned. An example would be selecting all WC to create cleaning schedules.

Workplace Reservations: Attendees
When creating a reservations request and designating the number of attendees, a user can only use the +/- buttons to set the number of attendees. Would be ideal if a user could type in the number of attendees especially because most meetings are above 20 people.

1. Consolidate Equipment, Tagged Furniture, and Furniture tables under one Assets table.
2. consolidate both EQ Standard and Furniture Standard to one Asset Standard table.Currently, we cannot run basic SLA services on furniture. Consolidation will enable users to look at their entire asset portfolio (No Building No Properties) in one location and will enable:
- planners to create furniture capital replacement plans
- facility managers to see available assets in rooms that include furniture in one report
- allow systems to extend to Furniture
- Allow Employees to request services for Furniture assets

Edit Data Hierarchy
v25 has exposed a lost of functionality with the AutoCAD edit data command. The edit data pop-up in Smart Client no longer allows the edit of a Department Code without the parent Division Code to be entered; the same can be said for the Room Type / Room Category.
Per Tech Support "This disallowing of entering data directly into a child field was a intentional change in the product design for reasons of application performance and data integrity."
This greatly increases the time it takes to input data.

Homogenize id's length for assets tables
As we use the integration with REVIT for BIM integration, the use of different lengths for different codes of asset tables (eq,ta,fn...)
It would be good to have the codes (and descriptions) length are all the same (to the longer ones) so they can be treated in similar ways in BIM and other systems.6 votes -
Catalog
Our customers are directed to the Catalog directly. Two of the out of the box that you cannot fix or edit on the front end is "Moves" and "Find person, Location, Equipment".
I am not sure why customers and guests would have access to equipment but these are not able to be edited by the "Archibus Activity Licensee". Just like adding tiles to the service catalog, I want to have the ability to edit the verbiage of the tile, the display order of the tile as well as hiding what is in the section of the tile.

Allow users to opt-out of notifications
Provide users with the ability to opt-out of email notifications from the ARCHIBUS application. Ideally, they would be able to opt-out of notifications at the module level. In addition, providing System Admins with the ability to classify notifications that users can opt-out of and ones that they will always receive. For instance, a user may wish to opt-out of Building Operations notifications, while the System Admin wants to make sure that they do not opt-out of the password reset emails. It would be nice for a future release to have the ability to allow users to opt-out of notifications.

Keep Web Central up to date with new features going into Workplace
Hoteling is a prime example where enhancements in recent versions are only in Workplace and not in Web Central. Fort existing customers that have been using Hoteling, for example, in web central for a long time and paying software subscription they shouldn't have to take on the effort (and costs) of switching to workplace to get new features.

Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Archibus Security
We are seeing more RFPs with a requirement for a cloud/hosted solution with MFA. We can implement this if the customer wants SAML and rely on the customer's MFA capability, but otherwise we have a gap in our solution. It would be helpful if the standard Archibus solution either contained MFA capability out of the box or easily integrated with a service provider. I believe we are going to see this requirement a lot more in the near future for any cloud deployments.
