As users move away from the desktop Outlook application, and onto the web, the plugin functionality should become available on the web. We see requests for equivalent functionality on the web Outlook, as well as thoughts on including Teams functionality.

Workplace Self Service: Attaching Documents to Request
There is desire/ need to attach documents when submitting a Service request without having to disable the camera. Users would like to attach email messages, forms, documents as well as photos, that will give more clarity to the Service Request.

Improve PDF Generation of Floorplan
Printing/generating PDFs of floorplans needs to be improved overall to produce a professional looking product. Currently generating a pdf at full extents and at zoom produce different results including colors, clarity of label fonts and whether or not the Space Console settings (for example: turning drawing layers off) are honored or not. The problems are particularly visible on larger buildings. This function should be completely revamped. It is a weak component of the Space Management Information System and many clients have complained about this function. Thank you

We are seeing requests for wayfinding capabilities within Archibus Workplace and/or a mobile app. Customers want to provide directions for their employees when they book a conference room or hoteling space.

Division and Department IDs versus Names
Most organizations use a code for the Division and Department IDs which mean nothing to the Facilities teams or general users. The users typically refer to the organization units by their Names.
Automatic ID look up functionality that was introduced in ARCHIBUS tries to solve this problem but it only does a partial job at best at this.

Drag and Drop Document Attachment
Please activate the drag and drop file attachment option on all document upload fields. After the drops a file on the Document field, the "Check In New Document" popup could still appear giving the user the chance to add a Description.

Printing from Workplace
With more and more customers using workplace to provide access to drawings, highlights, locators, etc... this could be a GREAT way to provide drawing access with minimal licensing cost AND w/out having to go to the Space Console (which is pretty intimidating for the general user w/out archibus experience)

Delete one day of a set of recurring bookings
BUG: No option to delete one day of a set of recurring bookings
Created a recurring daily booking for 14 days. I attempted to create another booking for one of the booked days and received a prompt asking if I would like to delete the series. There is no option to cancel and rebook for a single day within the series.30 votes -
Allow printing out floor plans without highlight
Currently, in Space Console, you can print out floor plans with at least one highlight or a border highlight. However, you can not print out a floor plan without highlights.
Do companies care about the floor plan without highlighting at all?

Carry over the functionality from Web central for the Service Desk Questionnaire functionality. Or ability for administrator to configure questions/data points on Service Catalog requests.

Book hoteling by neighbourhood
Can there be an easy application parameter to turn on to enable booking by neighborhood? Basically this is a team space. For example some behaviors we would like to see on the workplace portal are:
A: When a user tries to book a desk, there is an automated restriction where they can only book the desks which is a part of a work team that they have active membership in.

SVG - Text - Labels
AutoCAD: allows the Archibus-CAD/CAFM administrator to use the following commands within AutoCAD to control the Archibus asset text on drawings.
• AFMASETHT – Asset Text height
• AFMASETORIENT – Asset Text Orientation
• AFM_ASETPOS – Asset Text Position
For all SVGs can these settings be added and retained in the generated file. Therefore in Archibus Workplace, Space Console all graphics reflect the CAD drawing and make the text and graphics more user-friendly.26 votes -
Improvement to Workplace Portal - room selection on the floorplan with dynamically adjusted blue dots and adjusted text size
The new workplace portal has a section where if one tried to either book a meeting room or book a desk, the user would then typically see a floor plan. One example of this is the NC05 building (the hq database data) where the highlighted rooms with the blue dots hovering above represent a room that can be booked or reserved. Please enhance the keyword search so that users can quickly isolate assets that they know the code for without having to use the Advanced Search option. Advanced Search does provide this capability but adds multiple additional clicks and diminishes the user experience.

If you access the booking in the Workspace Reservation view, you can’t change the date or recurrence if you made a mistake. Is there a way to modify a booking once done, or can you only cancel the booking?

Back to Work: Printing Social Distancing Circles on Floorplans (PDF)
Would like the ability to print these social distancing circles in PDF. A lot of requests are being made to be able to print these maps for Back To Work quickly and efficiently. The alternative, print option via word is burdensome, static, requires manual touch ups, and lacks a map legend.
