  1. The "Export Energy Star Data" task is currently only available under the Green Building application. It would make sense to have this available under Energy Management as well.

  2. When Assigning Assets to Custodians, it is possible to assign the assets to a custodian team, instead of an employee.

    For example: our IT assets belong to / are managed by our IT department, where our HVAC / Electrical assets belong to / are managed by our Operations team.

    Is it possible to leverage the Team Member tab and be able to associate IT assets to the IT Team? By assigning "Bob Smith" to the IT Team, he would be a custodian on that asset in the EAM console?

  3. The idea is avoid QR on desks and, at the same time, deliver a seamless check-in experience.

    When the employees book a desk they receive a "digital key". These keys can let employees check-in using a kiosk or QR reader. At the same time, the "digital key" can be revoked if needed by the workplace manager.

  4. We had to get our business partner to make significant changes to the job sheet that is printed for work requests.

    Can this not be made more configurable so admins can do this from within Archibus web central, to allow customisation of which fields are displayed on the job sheet.

    I know most users are going mobile but there will be some occasions where a printed job sheet will be required etc.

  5. I have followed the process outlined in the help to globally import employee photos so that they are available in Workplace. It worked well but seems to be a detailed process that has many steps.
    1. Would like to see a way to get the images in easily. Our client would like them to display on Workplace and be updated regularly. It would be ideal to have a connector and be able to tie it in with automated feeds from a clients HR system.

  6. There are still modules using the text/plain MIME instead of text/html format.
    And this is hardcoded.
    The core should be updated or at least all modules should use the switch in the mail.properties file.

  8. Reservations -> Background Data -> Define Room Arrangements

    • Choose a room arrangement
    • Set the "Maximum Capacity" and "Minimum Required" values to something high for testing such as 99 for Maximum Capacity and 30 for Minimum Required.
    • Now go to Workplace to Book a Meeting Space.
    • Go to the floor plan of the room arrangement that was modified.
    • Depending on the other rooms on the floor, the room may not be highlighted blue. The Seats filter will likely have increased to a maximum of 99 seats. The slider would need to be moved to 30 for the room to be highlighted.…

  9. Based on information provided on a ticket (estimated hours, etc), automatically assign and issue work orders to a specific craftsperson on the work team who has the highest availability based on the work orders that have already been assigned to them.

  10. Customers are looking for ways to replace furniture system booking applications (Condeco) with Archibus functionality.

    The Kiosk mode for room reservations in workplace could be a good alternative, if extended to Hoteling for workspaces.

    A partnership between SpaceIQ/Archibus and a company providing desk beacons could be a good alternative, using barcode scanning and hoteling to initiate the booking. The beacon would then need to turn red, indicating the space is booked.

  11. Under Real Property/Costs/Cost Administrator/Costs Wizard - Leases, Buildings, and Properties

    Most folks have an approval workflow where certain costs like maintenance costs associated to a lease or a project cost associated to a lease have to be approved. While his view allows folks to edit, view and approve recurring, scheduled and actual costs but then once you get into this view, there's no special security groups required here.

  12. As a user lodging a service request, I start by scanning a room's QR code. By doing so, I'd love for the list of available request types to filter to just those that are applicable to that location.

    Request types can be associated with key words. Allow rooms or room standards to also be associated with key words? That way starting with QR codes to enter a request, the system can match up key words and display the relevant request types.

  14. Home Pages and Dashboard UI has improved in 24.2 and 25.1, such that they are more consistent and show applicable metrics. However:
    - Clicking on metrics do not bring the user to views where they can take immediate action, and
    - There are still many lower-level forms and reports that could be replaced by metrics in dashboards so to clean up the long list of views and present a more compact UI to the user.

  16. In Some instances organizations set the DV and DP to a room, when an employee moves out and you infer an employee it clears the dv and dp at the room.

  17. As a buyer of workplace and asset management software, I want the system to have one way to publish floor plans from CAD or BIM, and to deliver those floor plans to the web or mobile platform for use, so that I have one set of source files and a consistent process of converting/delivering drawings.

  18. Users would like to get notifications on their mobile devices to Check-in to their bookings. Currently the only notifications are sent by email. Not all users check their email on their mobile device, A popup notification would be very helpful for users as a reminder to Check-in to their bookings.

  20. The OnSite app contains documents and can open external URLs that can take you out of the app to open the mobile browser following the external URL.

    I would like to see the reverse: from an external web page, I would like the ability to open the OnSite app (if installed on the device)

    That would be a link like "onsite://" or whatever the correct equivalent is for the official Eptura OnSite app.

    As a further enhanced feature on top of that, it would be great if the OnSite app even supported deeper links into the app.

    Something like "onsite://workrequests/123"…
