Deep link into OnSite mobile app
The OnSite app contains documents and can open external URLs that can take you out of the app to open the mobile browser following the external URL.
I would like to see the reverse: from an external web page, I would like the ability to open the OnSite app (if installed on the device)
That would be a link like "onsite://" or whatever the correct equivalent is for the official Eptura OnSite app.
As a further enhanced feature on top of that, it would be great if the OnSite app even supported deeper links into the app.
Something like "onsite://workrequests/123"
Following that deep link from an external web page would open the OnSite app (or switch back to it) and would then open the details from work request 123 on the condition that the user has access to work request 123 as a direct assigned work request or a team assignment. If no access, then the user would just land on his home page.
There are likely other interesting deep links that OnSite could offer and Eptura could offer a clear model that can be called, and the syntax declared in the system help.
A practical use case that drives me to raise this is the ongoing development of a Time Sheet application that offers functionality beyond what OnSite does. The links within OnSite allow us to jump to the new TimeSheet app. Ideally, we can jump back from the TimeSheet app to the OnSite app.
