Configuration Parameter - for clear the DV and DP from a room when infer EM
In Some instances organizations set the DV and DP to a room, when an employee moves out and you infer an employee it clears the dv and dp at the room.

Where do we stand on this request? Fred commented over a year ago and I have seen no movement on this. Please let me know if this AssignUnallocatedSpace actually does this or just the prorate field and does not address dv/dp assignment.

Doesn't the AssignUnallocatedSpace application parameter already govern the behavior of the system ? You have the choice between : keep the assigned dv/dp, use the room's primary dv/dp or remove the dv/dp and prorate to floor/building/site. Or are yu saying tht running infer would clear the dv/dp whatever the value for the application parameter ?

I agree with Fred, those should be the options. The only other options I can think of would be to have a default and that could be global, building, or floor.

The use case is that in some organizations, the division or department looses the room if they don't have any employees it it, right? In this case, who would be responsible for covering the costs associated with this room, if the dv/dp no longer owns the room?

What would you like to have happen? When there are no employees in a room that contains a dv-dp allocation, and then Infer is run, would you like an app param to dictate:
1) set dv-dp of the room to NULL, or
2) keep dv-dp of the room intactDoes that sound right?
