The parts inventory has the ability to refer to a security group “PO APPROVER" so that parts generated in a PO are automatically approved and where the role doesn't have the security group doesn't have the “PO APPROVER" then these parts when requested as PO start off as a status of 'Requested'. This would the intended design of the product but the '%' security group often seems to be needed for power users and areas like the workplace portal. The problem with this '%' group in parts inventory is that it automatically furfills the “PO APPROVER" group even if the role didn't really want to have that security group. Please setup the system in parts inventory to ignore the '%' security group.
