Hoteling - Photo of the desk when booking
It would be good for the workplace portal to display a photo of the desk being booked.
Though most client won't have the luxury of time to upload a photo of each desk, it would nice to have a bulk photo reference where one can upload a photo of a desk and it could mean it's the photo of all desks in the building, or desks that match a type or a floor.10 votes -
Ability to change the problem type on "PREVENTIVE MAINT" work requests
I often find that when the craftsperson links a request from a Preventative Maintenance Request, they forget to change the problem type from "PREVENTIVE MAINTENACE", to the correct on-demand problem type. Once this is done, since the SLA is not designed to move Preventative Maintenance work requests into the " Requested" status, the problem type cannot be changed.
There are a couple solutions/ improvements that I can see that would solve this issue:
add the ability to move Preventative Maintenance requests to the "Requested" status
When linking requests, change the default problem type to blank instead of the problem type…

We need Auto-Lookups to work in the Workplace Portal please. Many of our customers use the employee number for the employee ID as well as codes for buildings and orgs.

Disable Login Screen for Additional Web Central Sites (Onsite/API)
When the organization uses SAML for authentication, you must setup a second instance of Web Central to support API calls. If the organization is using Onsite, then another instance of Web Central must be setup to support that application. Once these secondary environments are up, a user can go to the URL and attempt to log into those systems.
We are requesting a switch in Web Central config files that would disable the UI login capability. With this switch turned on, a user would receive a message on the Archibus login page suggesting they are not authorized to log into…

Control VPA in Workplace
VPA settings should be controllable for Workplace separate from Web Central
As a user with VPA restrictions for Web Central, I only have access to view and edit data in a list of buildings (controlled by VPA)
When I am going to travel to another location and want to use the 'Locate Employee' function in workplace OR Hoteling / Room Reservations - I need to be able to view other locations that are NOT in my VPA restriction.

However our requirements have changed and we need better management of lifecycle changes to our assets. Locker filters to apply to quick reports
When we run the locker report from lockers even though Currently when filter/s are applied to show sites needed, using the quick report still shows all lockers regardless of filter.
Much like insights, when launching the reports it shows you the data based on the filters applied, we'd like quick reports to do the same.2 votes -
Rooms Requiring Approval
Let users know on floor plan/during selection process, that it is subject to approval. Also when they reserve the room the message should read that the request is pending approval and the status pending approval should be displayed in the Workplace Reservations tab.

Allow Homepage Page Building Metrics tiles to be clickable
The Building Metrics tiles on the Homepages should be clickable allowing the user to launch a report view. The option should be configurable in the Manage Homepage Wizard, allowing the system to launch Space Console or Lease Console, restricted to the building code selected. This will be great for demos and offer the client an easy way to navigate the system.

Performance of the Archibus Login Process needs to be Improved
In v26.1 we find that the login process itself takes 6 seconds or more. Adding in the time to load the homepage, it can be 10 seconds before a user can interact with the application. Performance testing was done to refine page load times but we have not found anything to date to improve Login or Home significantly. The infrastructure of the environments are sized according to meet or exceed SpaceIQ specifications.25 votes -

The Space Console should be able to display multiple layers, rather then just the default room id and 1 other. For example it would be useful to be able to display both Employee Name and Room Area

PDF export zoom and layer control
Better control of zoom and layers when exporting to PDF.
Currently it appears that Archibus is not able to apply layer control and zoom factor settings at the same time during printing process. This is a critical issue which is impacting on the quality of the service that we can provide to the client.

Preventive Maintenance work generation, group work requests for similar Procedure
Many users still print their PMs after they are generated.
When using the View Active PM Work Orders view, setting the appropriate filters and clicking the ‘Paginated Report’ button, work requests print in woid & wrid order.
The PM Work Request Generator iterates thru the creation of work requests based on the Date to Perform and no additional sort fields.I would like to see a way to add an additional "grouping" (not to be confused with the Grouping option that combines the selected grouping option on the Same work request)

Equipment changes should propagate to the PM schedule
When you setup the PM for a piece of equipment, it copies over some of the data (specifically location data) from the equipment record to the PM Schedule record which is displayed in the PM Planner.
If you change the equipment data (eg. location) after this has been setup, the changes do not automatically propagate to the PM Schedule record.If you wish to update the PM schedule you will either need to do so in a separate step or unassign the PM Procedure and reassign it to get the updated information propagated to the PM Schedule record. Indicate capacity target in the bubble next to the floor rather than total number of hotelable rooms in Workplace workstation booking
In Workplace, the number of seats indicated in the bubble next to the floor is the total number of available and hotelable rooms (no target apply)... it would be nice to rather see the number of rm available according to the target set for that building.

Promote Customised or other fields to available fields for grid pages
We are now able to easily add customised fields and would like to make them visible in the available fields when selecting fields to be added to the grid. It would be good to allow this without having to engage someone to customise the .axvw file. SAS users would also benefit from this.

Direct access in the SaaS solution or Improve Delete in SmartClient
Smart client currently does not allow mass deletion via the Transfer feature. Only add and update. To delete you have to do it one by one or edit all entries in a way that allows for identification of deletion and delete screen by screen.
This is very difficult to maintain correct tables for User Security and Employees.
