  1. Currently, there is very little control over how fields are placed and displayed within a paginated report column panel. It would be nice for it to respect attributes like colspan and rowspan so that fields can be placed in an order that makes sense.

  2. Currently, Workplace Applications display settings are universal. But different users need different applications (e.g., internal users need Hoteling, external users such as tenants, branch managers or vendors do not). Add security groups to control application display options (as in Mobile).

  3. Give people the ability to resolve conflicts in workplace – if 1 out of 5 occurrences is a problem, let them book the other 4 and skip that one/book it separately.

  4. The user experience for adding time to multiple WR at once in the Maint. Console is confusing at best. You select multiple WR and click the 'Update' button. Then select 'Add Craftspersons' (not add time) and it opens a second window. The second window is fine, but it returns you to the Update window. Now what? They have to click the 'X' to close or click 'Cancel' - neither seem right. Customers instead are clicking the 'Update' button to close (since they did make a change by adding time).   5. The following information is to be made available from a system usage statistics perspective:
    • Information on who (profiles) logged into the system
    • When (start timestamp) did this login take place
    • For how long did the session last (end timestamp)
    • What applications were used during the session / Which tasks were accessed during the session

    This basic information will enable clients to monitor system usage and use it as a tool to manage staff performance and adherence to internal processes.

  6. Improve the floor image panel refresh when loading a new floor in Space Console v2022.2 when a fllor plan is open and highlighted selecting a new BL FL the panel clears the load the previous floor (unhighlighted) before loading the new floor (only slightly annoying but would improve the user experience)

  7. Currently, if you need to configure an email sender for external domain (let's say, the Client's domain), the way of doing it is to configure mail.properties with a line like this: mail.host.password=TO_ENCRYPT(plaintextvalue). And then to run task "Encrypt Passwords in Configuration Files". This is not acceptable for many Clients, as they have to comply with many security policies, and it is not secure for them to send the plain text password to Archibus, so Archibus configures mail.properties and then encrypts the password.

  8. Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.

    Reasons for the unavailability:
    1. desk changed from Hotelable to permanent seating
    2. layout change
    3. renumbering
    5. required cleaning or other work order in process

  9. When using Hoteling now, the default selection is the first (in order) floor of the building you are assigned to.

    It would make more sense to have the selection default to the floor you are assigned to (if no floor is assigned to the employee current behavior is correct)

  10. Implement a mechanism to avoid that users loose their local settings (e.g. Select Fields column layout, etc.) after clearing the web browser cache.
    Basically, when a user customize a grid panel's columns layout, perhaps hiding or showing more columns, those settings are stored locally on the user's browser temporary files. As soon as the user cleans the browser cache such settings are gone and he/she has to start over every time for all the views.

  11. Version 26.3 => maintenance console => Additional Documents and activity

    Do not display Step Log Steps that are not relevant.

    When a WR is are requested stage there are multiple people that are able to take action, such as issuing the WR. when the action is completed, all of the other "possible people" remain visible. This clutters up the users view of the actions taken on that WR. By removing these records for this you will see a more succinct view.   12. When the requestor enters a Department Contact for a move, the contact receives an email with a link to view the move, but that is it. For a lot of groups that contact is the admin and they would like for the moves they are "tagged" in to show up under "Examine My Moves" for tracking and reference.

  14. Currently as soon as the user launches a new space chargeback calculation the results of previous calculations are cleared and there is no way of getting them back other than re-launching the chargeback with exactly the same parameters.
    Would it be possible to store in a permanent way such results, so that users will be able to access them over time and perhaps do monitoring/reporting?

  15. The end users are really appreciating the workplace portal. However, there is starting to be more demand for features like a satisfaction survey which comes after a request. This survey shouldn't affect whether or not the service request can be closed (ie let's say that after X days the completed ticket should just close anyways regardless if the user submitted a satisfaction survey or not).

    It would be great if the workplace portal also has ability to handle a satisfaction survey for a conclusion of a service request. Basically the user can still get an email that they can fill…

  16. It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.

    In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
    I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.

  17. Remember Client/Server's "Delete Table" button that allowed you to delete all records in a table that matched the current restriction? It would be very useful to have some way to bulk delete records in current Archibus environments. This will need to be very limited to admins only, but the need is there, especially in hosted environments where administrators may not have full access to backend tools.

  18. The new Define locations screen has great Feature allowing the user to select additional field to display. The current view locations fields does not have the same look/feel /function.

    The new define locations screen should have a read only version (just remove the update function).

    this enable us to have consistent training and use of the functions across the organisation

  19. When booking a workstation you are able to book in someone else's name, but it would be nice for this to be controlled somehow (for example with a security group)

    Additionally it would be nice to make groups of people you can book for such as a secretary booking for people in their department/division

  20. Some of our clients are using Workplace as the only interface for their user base. These users are identified as "Requestors" and since they aren't granted access to Web Central, there isn't a way to view an occupancy plan - meaning seeing employees on a floor plan. Workplace allows a user to search an employee but what's more desired is to bring up a floor plan and see who is seated on the entire floor at once.
