  1. Homepages are well received but what would make it stand out more is a filter option to focus the data seen on the homepage to a location, ie a site, or a building. This would make it very comparable to the function of a dashboard. Especially if I just want to start the day looking at the full portfolio statistics, then switch over to a single site, and see all the metrics at that site.

  2. Users who are now having to constantly come into the office would want to have an ability to star/favorite a set of favorite desks so that they can book faster on the workplace portal.

    The flow could be something like this:
    1. go to the portal
    2. book a desk
    3. the floor plan loads up a floor, likely defaulted to their em.fl_id record
    4. a minor star icon or some highlight can be shown to show their most frequently used/preferred desk.

    There would be a place to also set 'save as favorite desk' as well.

  3. I propose to create a dynamic/ responsive booking process with automatic Social Distancing logic – this means:
    1. All of the Hotelable rooms are designated as “Available”
    2. When a room (desk) is booked, the system automatically checks the room’s proximity to other rooms and turns “Unavailable” all rooms that fall within the specified social distance radius.

    Benefits:
    1. Move away from a static floorplan layout – more flexibility
    2. Increase room availability – let say that one room is in the cleaning process, users can still use all the rooms around it.

  4. After a request has been submitted, there is currently no way for the requester to do this from the service catalog view. It would be beneficial for all parties to give the requester this ability.

    Also as a side note, the cancel button on the View Service request View is very confusing for the end user because it is really a "Back to List" button which is labelled as "Cancel".

  5. In v25.2, we can still assign processes and mobile application security groups to users even if those applications are not licensed. The system would be more user friendly if it did not allow this.

  6. Right now it is not possible to filter in the advanced filters by the standard. This was possible in the old console and it would be really useful.

    Adding to this in the standards tab, the calculations made are not equivalent to the ones in the divisions/department and category tabs.

  7. The equipment standard and bulk generation needs to be improved. The use case is if I'm going to make the effort to define an equipment standard where I've added in manufacturer information, CSI information, costs and model information, this should have copied over for the asset registry.

    So here's the use case. I have to create 10 extra equipment that came in a batch. The only thing different about these 10 items is the serial number and the unique asset ID. Meaning it's the same model number, same cost, same extra attributes, same warranty, same PO invoice.

  8. Pretty much all lease departments have to handle this some way. The existing workflow is to create CAM cost to handle maintenance but these CAM costs aren't specifically linking to a maintenance request or a project. So the idea was it would only satisfy the lease agreements which handle a blanket CAM cost.

    However, in real life, leases in which the client is acting as the tenant, don't have true control to set up the lease agreement this way because they use the landlord's version of the lease agreement since the tenant doesn't own the building. So as a result,…

  10. Event driven mechanism to be able to broadcast an internal change to the external world trough Rest APIs.

  11. Currently Archibus is enabled with features and functionality for multi-storage locations, craftsperson management of parts for on demand work, maintenance manager for preventive maintenance, etc...

    Please consider building out functionality specific to the warehouse manager:

    1. Mobile functionality for receiving shipments at the warehouse
    2. Pick/Pull Tickets for requested parts
    3. Notifications between warehouse manager and craftsperson on status of pick tickets
    4. Automatic generation of a purchasing list based on minimum storage quantities
    5. Having the inventory updated once an item has been pulled for pick up, not once the work order has been completed

  12. We have a customer who operates a centralised Facility Management team and their responsibilities include management of some smaller sites in foreign counties. They perform maintenance works (i.e. Building Operations) and asset management from their head office, and would like to record all related costs in the local currency pertaining to each site, with the ability to convert currency values to their “home” currency for reporting purposes.

    However, at present, the Multi-Currency feature of Archibus is available only within the Real Estate Portfolio Management domain. This customer has explicitly asked if/when the Multi-Currency feature will be extended to the Building…

  13. The default settings for the width and color of the border highlight for Show Department is too thick. On large floor plates where there are small workspace areas the highlight covers the blue that normally shows that a room is available for hoteling. Can this become a setting that can be controlled without asking the vendor to redefine it? I have included images of the highlighting for reference.

  15. Enable a user that books a workstation for the whole day to check-out part way through the day and free the workstation making it available for hoteling for the afternoon portion of the day. Currently if they cancel their booking the system deletes the record of their booking completely, thus making the utilization report inaccurate.

  16. Please add the work request ID onto actions created through the moves console (when generate service request is checked off) and if possible add the move's code to the work request that is created.

    Ideally the two would be linked so that when you click on the work request id in the moves console, it would pull up the work request in a pop-up window the way that linked work requests do. Similarly it would be use full to have something similar happen when the move code id is selected in the related work request.

  17. Allow configuration where users can check into reservations/hoteling spaces only by QR code to ensure that the user is onsite. In many cases they do not want the user at home to check into their booking they must be on site during the check in window.

  20. When leases are extended or year by year the recurring costs often need to be updated, which is time-consuming. To streamline this process, we would like to see a copy button that allows users to copy the existing recurring cost information selected and then present it in a popup so that anything that has changed can be updated (usually the dates) and saved.
