There are views in the product which aren't setup to adopt any security groups for accessing things such as the buttons to save.

For example the: Project Management Console, Lease Management Console

Client seem to like these views but in large organizations, some of that data was setup so there are VPAs for certain data to be visible to the client. However they not only want it to be visible but some may be read-only based on a condition. For example, if a status of a record say the lease record or the project is at 'issued' then a certain group can then access the data for write purposes but otherwise it's always in read only.

It would be great if the VPAs or the security groups have some options this way to manage the data. Here's a user story on this front:

"I am a leasing coordinator who needs to use the console to make edits on specific lease data. I can only edit the lease when the lease is signed. Otherwise it's read only because I do not handle the negotiations of formulating a lease.

Once the lease is signed, I would access the lease record in the region I'm responsible for, updating the contacts, and entering the details as per the agreement into Archibus."
