  1. When created from the Workplace, the move request is associated to a Service Request. The Service Request follows the Move Request evolution. It opens the possibility to embed steps (notifications, satisfaction survey...) in the process.

When is created from any else place (e.g. Web Central), it is not associated. The ARCHIBUS behavior is then not similar depending of the origin of the request. It is not consistent.

The reason why is it interesting to associate the Service Request process, it to have the possibility to define notifications, approvals or other steps on a better and easier way.

  2. The product currently has limited 3 approval captures per project. Archibus would offer a more competitive edge to be able to setup workflows and set as many approvals need in the tool throughout the life cycle of the project. Sort of like an SLA where it's configurable to match to features like a project type, or program type or location where it may need multiple approvals and certain conditions. Such as being able to setup approval workflows for a project such as:
If a project is over X amount of dollars, the approving group is a member of ie, the…

  3. It would make updating Archibus easier/faster for the Business Partners if we could get the updates in a better format. A folder with all changed/added files in their respective folders (not all files, just add/changes), a text file listing any file that needs to be deleted (if that ever happens) and a SQ Script with comments and checks.

By just having files that are changed/added in their respective folders, we can drop that in DEV and view the changes in products like SourceTree (GUI for a Git repo.), then accept or merge with our changes.

    A well commented SQL script…

  4. Sometimes due to unexpected events, we must do some quick maintenance / reset,..
The possibility to send messages to the logged-on users would really be a big plus.

  5. When a photo is added for a room in the "Define Room" page, the photos show up rotated 90 degrees CCW. I am wondering if there is a certain photo size/orientation/file type that is required to make these images show up correctly within web central as well as Workplace. Thank you!

  6. While the Space Console is great for sophisticated users, most non-facility managers just want to see and print a floor plan. So for nearly every organization, we create a simplified View and Print Floor Plan. Requirements vary, but a search for Building and Floor is obviously needed. Probably also a Room and Room Name, Category and Type so the same view can serve as "Locate a Room/s". Perhaps highlight and label choices.

  7. The current "PauseEscalationsforOnHoldWork" application parameter is pausing the escalations by “stopping the SLA clock” when set to '1'. This is useful for different client requirements, but some clients have different scenarios within the same environment so the global setting will not work e.g. an emergency cannot, but a routine task can be paused. We, therefore, recommend that this setting be managed on SLA level if possible. This will provide additional system flexibility.

  9. When using Outlook plugin with SAML integration users get really confused when they see the Archibus Web Central interface.

For this it would be ideal if they did not see this and it would auto-close that window.

  11. In workplace large floor plans do not fully display. In addition after searching for an employee a scroll bar on the right is activated when scrolling down the floor plan and floors list the experience is very poor.

  13. When viewing the made requests over to the workplace portal, it would be nice to see comments for the request. For example if a ticket submitted was rejected, it doesn't explain why there was a rejection to the end user.

The email notification from the rejection also does not share the comment. But the rejection process done over in the webcentral maintenance console does have an area where you can write a comment so someone is filling that information out. Basically the requestor should know why it was rejected because it was a duplicate or was it because it's too…

  14. This likely occurs in many reports but let's use the "Hoteling -> Bookings -> Review Desk Bookings" view as an example.

To reproduce this issue, have enough bookings so that a vertical scroll bar appears. For example, if Department Code or Visitor Name of the first record on the list, you would need to scroll to the bottom of the page to access the scroll bar, use the scroll bar to view a column that is off the screen, and then scroll back up to the top to view the first record.

This is inconvinient and makes it difficult to…

  15. It should possible to « manage » the buttons individually. For instance some roles could see and update all requests, just the way supervisors can do, but cannot complete requests. Or it should be possible to allow some specific roles to be supervisor but not use the « complete » button.

In previous versions, this could be done using classic buttons in AXVW files that could be enabled or hidden using security groups or roles.

But in the maintenance console, this seems to be done on a global way, merely depending on few parameters (essentially the craftsperson's attributes, e.g. "is…

  16. Requires an alternative way to define open office space with workstations that are now used for Hoteling. The current method of polylining the workstations as ROOMS feels like a workaround solution. The end-result comes with flaws:
    1) we end up subdividing the floor plan into numerous "rooms" that are in fact workstations. The polylining exercise is super tedious because we need to ensure that they all add to the accurate total floor area as well. Worse when these workstations are set up in irregular shape (honeycomb, circular etc..) Very difficult to represent them in space.
    2) we have to create…

When a specific problem is identified within the Maintenance Console, the ability to group 1 or more Work Request to a Project Request or to a Protect Template to kick of a project (i.e. replacing an AHU/s, ext.) 18. Recommended validations for Craftsperson Dates, Times, and Hours Worked
    · Date Started and Date Finished may not be earlier than the Work Request date created (or the date when scheduled)?
    · The actual hours cannot be higher than the difference between the actual Time Started and Time Finished. 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM is 1 hour, but you can save 2 Actual hours as an example.
    · Cannot add time for a craftsperson if he/she recorded time in the same period on another work request.
    · Recommend performing these validations on save (Both WebCentral and Mobile).

    The benefit of this…

  19. Currently a compliance event gets assigned to the Responsible Person for the requirement. If there is more than one person performing inspections, it is very tedious and time consuming to have to go into each event (or group of events) and re-assign them to another person.

It would be ideal to have a Responsible Group, similar to a work team in maintenance, that would allow the inspection to appear on the device of all members of the inspection group. This would allow anyone with membership to perform the inspection.

  20. Currently hotelling only allows for booking morning, afternoon or a full day. In the current return to work scenarios, we are seeing more requests for more granular bookings capability.

The specific request is to support hourly bookings based on a start and end time.

We have received comments such as: "It comes up in every demo"
