Visitor Management functionality
Right now archibus allows us to register a new visitor and invite them to a meeting or to a booking. We are hoping for some extended functionality.
- visitor pass generation - ie a printable HTML formatted email that shows someone is able to be at the office.
- Visitor notification of arrival - a way visitors can check in at a lobby and allow those who are having a meeting with them to be notified of their arrival. Or in a booking scenario if someone booked them in then that person gets the notification.
- Reports - again, the challenge is archibus…

ESG, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have proven not only ethical, but profitable and hence have become interesting to a wide swath of the business community.
Can Archibus have some KPIs or white papers for defining or creating the parameters for ESG (environmental, social and governance) and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) report factors/indicators ?

Configurable Recurring Reservation - On/Off Feature
v.26.1 comes with a Recurring Reservation feature but some of our clients would love the flexibility to be able to configure the system parameters to turn off/on the feature.

Add a Key for Colors when you are on the Booking Screen
When you are selecting a seat in workspace you see blue and grey. I know that blue is open and grey is not but a few testers suggested that there be a key so the user can see that.

REVIT and work planed based assets
Upon 2D publishing in REVIT, some assets are not correctly published or better said are not correctly included in the JSON files and from there are not « clickable » ( = selectable) in the SVG drawings, e.g. in the Web Central consoles that use 2D SVG/HTML viewing.
This seems to happen for assets (e.g. equipment) that belong to « work plane based » families, such as solar panels placed on a slanted roof and defined as such in the properties/constraints.
This kind of family needs to be compatible too in order to be used for modern buildings.

SaaS - Provide System Admin function to migrate from UAT
Currently in SaaS implementations, when cutting over to production, SpaceIQ support is required to migrate published drawings to PROD (or customers need to re-publish all drawings after cutting over)
Making use of either a wizard in the application to package the '/projects/hq' folder items OR making the folders available via sftp would help expedite the cut-over process (and provide more time for supporting other issues for SpaceIQ support staff)

Site Point of Contact
The Define location has a site point of contact field that is validated against the contact table (Define Contacts). there is no way of seeing additional contact details for that point of contact. there needs to be a pop up contact card that can be accessed. there is no "view contact" available for general users who do not have admin privileges in this area.
This concept is relevant to a few areas where contacts are used.
There is also a need for secondary/alternate contacts

Lease Portfolio Console - configure options for default leases to show
Please add an application parameter to determine the default lease types to display in the Lease Portfolio Console.
When managing leases for buildings and properties, EVERY time a user accesses the console, they must select the 'Move' button to view the Leases Associated With options and then select Structures/Land and then Filter.

Create a 'Booking Confirmation' Parameter for Meeting Room Reservations
Similar to Hoteling, create a 'Confirmation Time' parameter that will:
- Set the period of time, before or after a reservation, where users must check-in
- Tie Non-Check-In to booking cancelation and notification

Maintenance and Compliance Questionnaire Raw data Reports
When readings are collected as part of a maintenance inspection survey, there is a view (in v25.3 and later) "Maintenance Survey Report" that is available to view the actual questions and answers for each survey.
Compliance does not have any reports that summarize the survey, questions and answers in a format where something like daily readings can be reviewed over a period of time to recognize trends or changes.
It would be very helpful to have a report that could be filtered by the questionnaire, date range, eq_id or standard or location just like the maintenance survey. The ability to…

Tomcat 10
Please add support for Tomcat 10.1 (Servlet 6.0 and JavaServer Pages 3.1 specifications). Clients are increasingly requesting to stay ahead of the curve on tomcat, and now that Tomcat 8.5 is being de-supported, it would be helpful for those clients to move directly to tomcat 10 instead of 9.

Maintenance Checklists at Assigned to Work Order
With this addition we would be able to look to add pre set checklist/inspections before a work request can be issued. The use case here is the need to provide work permits/ method statements often these need to be in place before the work can start. We would be able to create detailed questionnaire forms for these requirements. This will add to the flexibility of when these can be assigned and managed and force workflow.

Increase performance for restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting
The restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting in security.properties stops users without assigned access from using a direct link to access views, such as "Add or Edit Users". This has become an increasingly vital setting to enable to meet security requirements.
However, the performance cost at startup for it to generate an index is a big problem. We have seen up to 3-4 hour windows after a Tomcat restart where the application is not accessible.
I would like to see additional settings to control if and how the index is generated to improve performance. I understand that to accommodate customizations, this runs at startup.…

Incognito Desk Booking
Some users would like the ability to book a desk in "Incognito Mode" - meaning the desk will be booked and set to "Unavailable," however, other employees will not be able to search for the employee to see where their desk is booked.

Add Multiple Craftspersons when Editing Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console
There are times when multiple Craftspersons are added to Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console. Currently the Craftspeople need to be added individually. It would be nice if the Select Craftsperson could allow for multiple Craftspeople to be selected rather than one at a time.
This does not sound like much of a time savings for users; however, when there are more than a few Craftspeople to be assigned, the savings can be significant.

Auto-minimize of the navigation bar
Some of the users only have a homepage to access ARCHIBUS and thus have no real processes in the navigation (other than home/search/favorites) and no real need for a space-consuming navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
It should therefore be possible to open the Web Central with the navigator bar minimized by default ? Ideally this could be set a application parameter.
