Hoteling - No Report Exists for Cancelled Bookings
There is currently no report available for viewing cancelled hotel bookings.
The "Bookings for a Date Range" report allows the user to search for all bookings except for cancelled ones.
Room Reservations has a "Cancelled Reservations - Details" report so it would be nice if Hoteling had an equivalent.

Use Case 1
1-Person A books a desk
2-Desk is not available for users to book/use
3-Person A cancels booking
4-Employees complain that there's never an available desk. This is due to a subgroup of people booking and cancelling regularly. Space Manager needs to identify patterns.Use Case 2
Space Manager wants to know in general, how often people book and then cancel? When do they cancel - day before? -

It would be helpful if a user/group can be notified (emailed) if a room is cancelled.
Use case:
1) Person A makes a reservation (requiring approval)
2) Reservation center (Person B) approves reservation (was notified via email) and prepares for the meeting
3) Person A cancels the reservation
4) Reservation center (Person B) still anticipates the meeting and is unaware that it is cancelled -

Currently bookings that are canceled are removed from any bookings report. These bookings are removed from the table that captures bookings, as if they never occurred. The only record of canceled bookings is currently in the historical action items table (hactivity_log), but the data captured is insufficient in reporting any hoteling details.
The use case is to report on bookings that were subsequently canceled. Canceled bookings represent inefficiencies because desks could have been available to others who were looking, and often canceled desks remain open because they were canceled too late for others to book.
