  1. email errors are logged in the archibus.log file. If a client does not have email setup, it still logs all the errors about unable to send an email because it can not connect to the email server. this loads up the archibus.log file with a LOT of errors that are unimportant.
    the software should have a way to turn off the email notifications logging without turning off other logging of other things.

  2. In the maintenance console you have to option to add additional work request fields to the standard console view. We feel this is a essential function for our work planners to see a bit more info of each request without have to open the request itself. But everyone one needs to add these and not everybody remembers or adds the ones we recommend, and we have to re add them each browser session we open.

    Could there not be an app. parameter (or thing of the like) where we can set the fields we want to appear for each user…

  3. In organizations that want to integrate with the accounting system. Currently the only way to use account codes is either setup a preventative maintenance procedure to default an account code or to setup an SLA to need to be assigned to a work order. Upon generating the work order, the user can designate the account code. Could it be done in a way where it's more automated, ie building A automatically is account code 11110?

    Also, it would be great if along the way the supervisors/clerks can update the account codes in the work request to a different number, it…

  4. We need to have the option to sort orders by site on Mobile like the web version does. Right now when we sort by location and it breaks the site down by building / floor / room.

  5. In the Assign Location to Compliance view the Rooms lookup does not show Room name or Room Type/Category. This makes it very difficult to select the room that need to be assigned. An example would be selecting all WC to create cleaning schedules.

  6. Upon creating a User Defined Field, the system generates the field to be at the bottom of the list under 'Other Details'. There is currently no way available for users/administrators to re-order the field from within the UI and requires an update to the view files directly.

    Having the ability to change the order UDF's display at least within the 'Other Details' section would be very helpful for end-users.

  7. Currently for the Geographic Information System (GIS)/ESRI views there is no functionality to display labels on the objects. The user must scroll over the object to see a tooltip with its associated information.

    Please add the functionality to display labels on the objects similar to the Space Console or other floorplan views.

  8. To support workspace reservations, or team space based seating, adding additional functionality to either manage lockers or tie to locker management systems would be valuable. For example, when making a workspace reservation, give the employee an option to indicate if they will need a locker for their things along with the reservation and include a reservation for a locker as part of the same booking. Or for a simpler fix, adding an application parameter to include a checkbox on a reservation to indicate whether the employee needs a locker, and when selected include configurable instructions on the booking reservation to…

  9. In order for lease chargeback agreements to work properly, it requires going into the Cost Wizard, finding the scheduled costs, and then changing their Cost Statuses to AUTO-CHARGEBACK. This is cumbersome since someone would need to search for the scheduled costs and change each of them from AUTO-RECURRING to AUTO-CHARGEBACK since they are monthly/quarterly/annually/etc recurring costs.

    A mechanism to flag the recurring costs to default to AUTO-CHARGEBACK would save time and the potential for error.

  10. Customers consistently ask for the ability limit the Problem Types that are displayed for a user on the request form based on location. For examples, many organizations use a mix external and internal service providers based on the discipline and the location.

    Possible Solution:
    Add a configuration option in "Define Problem Types" that works similar to the Site/Building VPA lists. Problem Types with no restrictions applied will show for every location. Problem Types with a defined Site or Building list will automatically restrict based on the configured list and the selected location for the request.

  11. Ability to log in as another user to test a change in this user's configuration or try reproducing an issue only this user is seeing.
    With SSO enabled environments, this is not doable

  12. Workplace currently allows booking of meeting rooms. For flexible organisations looking to offer booking of IT, AV tech and work equipment resources, the workplace interface would make an excellent kiosk screen for resource only bookings. In addition to the functions available in web, camera barcoding, checking in / out of resources and equipment would make it a really useful addition for flexible / hybrid working.

  13. I have been reviewing the requirement for a client and there has been a lot of questions relating to data analysis to assist with maintenance planning and strategy. It would be good if we were able to provide some extension to include multiple function associated to a individual asset or an asset as a standard so the we can offer risk determined by the function that is of issue and which could then predefine the priority of the an action to resolve the issue. Archibus already has some of this information associated to asset optimisation but this is being used…

  14. Rework the lease console to include and improve the lease of Tagged Assets, specifically equipment.

    The lease console is a good utility to manage leases, however, it is specifically geared towards real estate, as evident by its location on the navigator and terminology. In the past, Archibus supported TA leases with separate tables and views but non with modern UI or UX like the console.

    I would like to consolidate the older functionality with the new console to provide FMs the ability to record and track EQ leases directly in a console format:

  15. In several instances the system displays the Error: Cannot read property 'message' of null; rather than redirecting the user to the Login Screen after a session timeout (of clearing your cache in a different browser window).
    This, along with the typical timeout occurring, produces unexpected results when logging back in. This was reported as a bug but were told:

    The system does not inform the user that the session is approaching timeout or that the session ended. Sadly, that is is the limitation of the current design.

  16. Homepages are well received but what would make it stand out more is a filter option to focus the data seen on the homepage to a location, ie a site, or a building. This would make it very comparable to the function of a dashboard. Especially if I just want to start the day looking at the full portfolio statistics, then switch over to a single site, and see all the metrics at that site.

When the space users or cloud users go into the background data of space and can get to the 'Define locations' report, they can access the site level data and subsequently edit a point of contact field which is from the contacts table, the only issue is there's no access to modify the list of contacts from the process navigator if only foundations or the Space Module was acquired.

  18. In the Space Console, after adding or modifying existing data, click close or X to close the form. WebCentral closes the form without warning the user. A prompt to the user would give them a chance to commit their changes before they are lost.

  19. Some projects are feasibility studies and not the actual, it would be great with Archibus could handle some scenario planning around projects.
    Basically it would need the following:
    1. an ability to replicate a project an set as a scenario project
    2. a report to compare the performance of two projects based on factors such as a prioritization matrix, risk etc.
    3. There are reports like the project scorecard which evaluates costs vs schedule but there is currently no way to only compare a few selected projects with that report.

  20. Currently it's a single field to track a numeric value for prioritizing projects. Clients with a large portfolio need a way to streamline what projects to prioritize. The project area should have a matrix weights and values that affect the ranking of a project which clients can define.

    For example the matrix can be along a measure of risk or feasibility (high to low) vs Impact to align to corporate priorities ie. work stoppage, quick wins, regulatory, profit gains etc.
