As it stands, I have to sit at my house the whole time-frame in which a maintenance is expected to come, which is from 9AM to 9PM, without knowing whether anyone is coming, has come by and I've missed them, or even intends to come by today. The result is that I end having an unnecessarily wasted day.

    The fix would be simple enough. Simply have a notification system, could even just be an email, in which the requester can see if anyone is taking steps to arrive on that particular day, if they have drooped by and no one…

  5. Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.

    Reasons for the unavailability:
    1. desk changed from Hotelable to permanent seating
    2. layout change
    3. renumbering
    5. required cleaning or other work order in process

  6. Currently the PM Planner has a filter for PM Date Status option of 'Missed'. This includes PM's that have not been completed as well as those that were not generated, and requires looking at each individual PM to determine the reason for the flag.
    Breaking the 'missed' status into 'Not Generated' and 'Not Completed' would be a more ideal reporting/planning feature for those clients wishing to differentiate.

  7. The following information is to be made available from a system usage statistics perspective:
    • Information on who (profiles) logged into the system
    • When (start timestamp) did this login take place
    • For how long did the session last (end timestamp)
    • What applications were used during the session / Which tasks were accessed during the session

    This basic information will enable clients to monitor system usage and use it as a tool to manage staff performance and adherence to internal processes.

  8. Please allow a way for the Space Console, and other views that can display a drawing, to automatically select a border highlight as soon as the drawingController is defined (please see attached screenshot). Border highlights are highly used and we would like to be able to show a specific border highlight on drawing load instead of having to either manually select it after a drawing is loaded or think of workarounds on the JavaScript code.

  9. There should be an ability to report on user activity and access in system administrator. Currently the only way administrators do this is to go to the back end to get the log files.

    Unfortunately the report called "Users logged into Archibus" on webcentral is more for a point in time but also doesn't not quite show activity.

    The report I am referring to is a way to see at at a summary, ie. today 150 users logged in, most used activities are Space Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, Hoteling for example.

    With ability to drill down to see further details…

  10. Are there going to be any changes in mobile 4.0 that may address additional data fields such as "Due Date" and "Date of escalation"

    Our concern is that the only data which is provided on the mobile app as far as dates, is the date the work was requested and there is not field for Due Date
    We are wanting to ensure that we don’t miss out on getting any work requests (especially critical PM’s) completed before the due date or escalation date as our goal is that 100% of critical PM’s are done on time.

  11. The old timeline had a nice visual representation of Pre-block Post-block time for reservations, but the new Calendar Console lacks that. Please consider adding it. If it's not technically feasible on the calendar, consider other alternatives. One of them could be to list the Pre-block Post-block time in the Reservations Summary panel on the left.

  12. EZ hatch. Love this senior add on to ARCHIBUS - it runs through AutoCAD and provides the ability to filter, hatch and define great output. This output can run through the evening through microsoft scheduler.

  13. Currently the ability to edit data in the Space Console is all or nothing. But many organizations want certain Roles to edit only some data (e.g., Employee's Room, Room's Category and Type). But now a user with edit rights can do things like delete a Building (with all the cascading damage that does). We need a way to limit editing to certain fields for certain Roles without using Field Level Security or editing the JavaScript.

  14. We need a "my daily schedule" view on the mobile device for the crafts persons that adds up their hours for the day ... so they can confirm that they put in their 8 Hours.

  15. With this addition we would be able to look to add pre set checklist/inspections before a work request can be issued. The use case here is the need to provide work permits/ method statements often these need to be in place before the work can start. We would be able to create detailed questionnaire forms for these requirements. This will add to the flexibility of when these can be assigned and managed and force workflow.

  16. The search function is not robust enough to search a combination of words that are in 2 areas (i.e. Computer Lab; Room Category: Computer and Room Type: Lab) hence not being able to search through staff’s first and last name.

  18. Currently in Archibus Workplace, employees can only search for a meeting space or desk in their assigned building. Companies that have multiple buildings in a small geography need the ability to find any space across the multiple buildings and still see a list of spaces that match the search criteria. In order to accomplish this now, the employee has to use the "Buildings" list button and run the same search multiple times.

    Since most use cases will utilize the assigned building feature as it currently works today, this could easily be a configuration parameter or a check box in the…

  19. In BOC, when a ticket is rejected, a requester has the ability to update/cancel. Where a client requests directly through workplace (having no access to maintenance console), there is no update/cancel option in the view service requests view. The request is no longer visible to maintenance staff and sits in the pending status.

  20. Some of our clients are using Workplace as the only interface for their user base. These users are identified as "Requestors" and since they aren't granted access to Web Central, there isn't a way to view an occupancy plan - meaning seeing employees on a floor plan. Workplace allows a user to search an employee but what's more desired is to bring up a floor plan and see who is seated on the entire floor at once.
