User log and access Reports
There should be an ability to report on user activity and access in system administrator. Currently the only way administrators do this is to go to the back end to get the log files.
Unfortunately the report called "Users logged into Archibus" on webcentral is more for a point in time but also doesn't not quite show activity.
The report I am referring to is a way to see at at a summary, ie. today 150 users logged in, most used activities are Space Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, Hoteling for example.
With ability to drill down to see further details such as which users and which reports were used.
For a privacy perspective it's possible to just have this automatically clear out at a set interval like a month. Or have the detail part clear out after a month.

Could also be great to be able to set up two parameter: a percentage and an email address. The percentage would be applied to the number of concurrent users in the licence (if applicable) and the email address would be used to send an alert when that percentage is reached.
Good way of proactively inform customers that they're getting close to their limit. -

We are very surprised to see that this standard functionality is not offered.
We currently manage about 3000 buildings with Archibus and there is basically no way to measure and report user acceptance and user activity to our management. -

This is very important and we receive this requirement on a monthly basis from our clients - This will also assist with motivating additional licenses if the usage is to much etc.

This is a standard package we implement for all our clients. User details, login/logout/timeout details, session id, view + loadtime, etc.
Really helpful from system admin perspective as well as product manager - surprised Archibus hasn't incorporated these types of features into their product.

I agree - this is a very common request. Even just to have a count of unique logins per day would be very useful for proving the utility of the application. Organizations often request data to prove the growth of the system and to justify more licenses/additional modules so this would be a very worthwhile feature!

I will add 'user logged out', or maybe timed out, or last activity, if possible. When our server has trouble I often want to see who was logged in so that I can ask them what they were doing in there. Parsing the log file is possible, but not that useful. And, yes, in the US where everyone works for us, so I hope less privacy concerns.
I also scrape the log for active usernames for certain one-off notifications. -

I have had this same request from TWO different clients in the past month.
The ability to see who has logged into the system with a date/timestamp would be extremely ideal.
