  1. The restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting in security.properties stops users without assigned access from using a direct link to access views, such as "Add or Edit Users". This has become an increasingly vital setting to enable to meet security requirements.

    However, the performance cost at startup for it to generate an index is a big problem. We have seen up to 3-4 hour windows after a Tomcat restart where the application is not accessible.

    I would like to see additional settings to control if and how the index is generated to improve performance. I understand that to accommodate customizations, this runs at startup.…

  2. It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.

    In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
    I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.

  4. Starting with v 25.x, 'Edit Data' box in SC Extension does not allow picking a value for a lower/child level data field, such as 'Department Code' unless you first pick the parent level. This has been reported as a pain point by some of our customers as it requires that you know the parent first, which is not always the case. We suggest that the original capability of selecting the child is put back in SCE.

  5. The ability for metrics to send notification is a good thing but it's very cumberstone to manage since the administrator has to pick and choose who exactly is to be notified when a trigger is met. It would be more efficient for the system to have the ability to use SQL statements to find emails based on a criteria. For example the following types of notifications would really benefit in these use cases:

    1. Project team notification use case - setup a SQL statement to find emails from the team table where it's tied to a project met in the metric…

  6. When a photo is added for a room in the "Define Room" page, the photos show up rotated 90 degrees CCW. I am wondering if there is a certain photo size/orientation/file type that is required to make these images show up correctly within web central as well as Workplace. Thank you!

  7. All projects perform risk assessments and how to remediate.
    Realistically this could be done with the questionnaire framework in compliance. But we need a bit more functionality.

    1. We can enter a risk within the questionnaire but there needs to be a evaluation of the risk for high, medium, lows, this can be a risk to the schedule or to the cost
    2. There needs to be linkage to remediation actions ie the action items that if completed, it reduces the risk level by how much

  8. The Project Management console has a team tab which is pretty good in general to add people to the team, where it's missing functionality is to have additional fields to track the stakeholder registration. Aside from the role, the additional stakeholder fields are:
    * Influence/Power level - their ability to cast decisions on the project
    * Interest Level - their value to the project
    * Support level - their ability to support activities
    * RACI concepts of Responsible level, Informed Level etc.

    * Function - what they are actually doing
    * Expectation - what their focus is
    * Communication Requirements…

  9. The Reference Document view has ability to associate to areas such as Project type or activity types already so it should be a quick win to add in features such as:
    1. in Project Management, automated documents from the reference library can be attached to the project based on project type
    2. In project management, while adding action items to the project, users can select a type (ie maybe a safety assessment action) and the action level shows reference documents associated to that action.
    3. in Move Management, this will need some adjustment so reference libraries can be leveraged at…

  10. Add a new type Archibus in the field definition : 'URL' or link
    When the field is in a grid / repport, display the value with a link to open directly the url in a new tab of the browser.
    When the field is in a form, a button to open the url in a new tab.
    When you save a new URL; chek the format of the data (http://... or ftp...) and url formated.

  11. In situations where a user does a partial name search in WP, there is no next button to move to the next screen if the characters are more than 20. Not all results are returned and there is no "more..." button that can be clicked to return the rest of the results.

  12. Currently Smart Client does not support TLS 1.3 encryption protocol, however our clients are starting to ask for this. Furthermore, since TLS 1.0 and 1.1 have known vulnerabilities at this time, it is only a matter of time before a vulnerability in TLS 1.2 is found. If a TLS 1.2 vulnerability is found, it will be very bad for our clients as IT departments may begin blocking TLS 1.2 connections, which will render Smart Client unusable.

  13. Performance of the Archibus Login Process needs to be Improved
    In v26.1 we find that the login process itself takes 6 seconds or more. Adding in the time to load the homepage, it can be 10 seconds before a user can interact with the application. Performance testing was done to refine page load times but we have not found anything to date to improve Login or Home significantly. The infrastructure of the environments are sized according to meet or exceed SpaceIQ specifications.

  14. Remember Client/Server's "Delete Table" button that allowed you to delete all records in a table that matched the current restriction? It would be very useful to have some way to bulk delete records in current Archibus environments. This will need to be very limited to admins only, but the need is there, especially in hosted environments where administrators may not have full access to backend tools.

  15. Hoteling is a prime example where enhancements in recent versions are only in Workplace and not in Web Central. Fort existing customers that have been using Hoteling, for example, in web central for a long time and paying software subscription they shouldn't have to take on the effort (and costs) of switching to workplace to get new features.

  16. In Hoteling, a floor plan that has rooms for a different department around another department. It is very confusing as the rooms are not cleary for the highlighted department,. Could we re-introduce the bubbles as a parameter, so rooms can have the bubbles and highlights?

  17. REST APIs need to be able to be configured/enabled along w/ using SAML SSO.

    Currently, if SAML is configured, there does not appear to be a way to access the sub-url api/v1/data using the tokens accessed via Okta

  18. Need an option to print to pdf/docx the currently loaded floorplan(s) - which uses the titleblock & selected highlight(s) and labels.

  19. VPA settings should be controllable for Workplace separate from Web Central

    As a user with VPA restrictions for Web Central, I only have access to view and edit data in a list of buildings (controlled by VPA)

    When I am going to travel to another location and want to use the 'Locate Employee' function in workplace OR Hoteling / Room Reservations - I need to be able to view other locations that are NOT in my VPA restriction.

  20. When a Craftsperson receives a Work Request in Mobile Framework which references an Equipment, or when she enters or scans an Equipment Code, Mobile Framework should alert her if the Equipment is under Warranty. The Craftsperson should then have an appropriate way of handling it (e.g. Return or forward to warranty provider).
