Ability to Cancel Service Request
After a request has been submitted, there is currently no way for the requester to do this from the service catalog view. It would be beneficial for all parties to give the requester this ability.
Also as a side note, the cancel button on the View Service request View is very confusing for the end user because it is really a "Back to List" button which is labelled as "Cancel".

Being able to search through the Organizer dropdown menu in Meeting Room Reservations
Workplace -> select a building -> Book a Meeting Space
- Choose an available room and then click on the Book button
- Choose any day and time and then click on the Next button
- The Organizer dropdown menu can get very long depending on the number of employees belong to the selected department. It's not uncommon for a department to have over 100 employees so being able to search through the list and limit the results instead of scrolling through what could be a very long list could be beneficial.

GDPR access on the cloud for the client administrator.
There is a GDPR access that normally is in the regular ARCHIBUS but it seems the AFM-CLI user that would be the client’s administrator would not have access to
System/System/Archibus Administrator - User and Security/GDPR - Search Personal InformationThis view would grant access to what is rightfully the client’s data. Would there be intent to release that view to the Archibus cloud client administrator’s role?
For the purposes of client staff leaving, it makes sense that the client themselves manages this data that is deemed as personal identifiable information instead of the business partner.

Preselect mm as base metric units in Register Drawing popup if configured in afm_scmpref
With the following settings:
afmscmpref.basemetricunits = 0 (i.e. millimeters)
afmscmpref.units = 2 (i.e. per locale)
SmartClient locale = any locale using the metric systemWhen I open an unregistered drawing in AutoCAD + SmartClient extensions, the Register Drawing popup appears with Metric - cm preselected.
I expect the default to be Metric - mm. Allowing this default to be changed based on afm_scmpref we can avoid mistakes for clients where all drawings are in mm.
Note when I switch the radiobutton to Imperial and then back to Metric, the 25.2 SmartClient UI does select mm automatically…

Back to Work - Reservation/booking Questionnaires for pre/post use
With reservations, whether this is a meeting room booking or a desk booking the idea is companies now need to make staff check off for before and after use of a booking/reservation, ie. 'did you do this or that?' This questions seems to vary between clients it would be nice to somehow generate a questionnaire that the administers can setup and ask a question to the requester making a reservation or a desk. Some questions they may ask could be:
- 'Did you disinfect the space?'
- 'Do you acknowledge you obeyed this or that?'
- 'Comment on new safety…15 votes -
Equipment standard based bulk asset generation Improvement
The equipment standard and bulk generation needs to be improved. The use case is if I'm going to make the effort to define an equipment standard where I've added in manufacturer information, CSI information, costs and model information, this should have copied over for the asset registry.
So here's the use case. I have to create 10 extra equipment that came in a batch. The only thing different about these 10 items is the serial number and the unique asset ID. Meaning it's the same model number, same cost, same extra attributes, same warranty, same PO invoice.
The improvements that…

Scheduling Manage work order generation rules
There should be an option added in 'Manage work order generation rules' which can allow users to auto-generate work requests for next week (e.g - Sunday to Saturday) and does not include days from the same week .
For an example to auto-generate work requests on every Wednesday for the upcoming week Sunday – Saturday . (and Not for Thursday & Friday of that same week).
This can be helpful because workers sometimes does not get time to prepare for work requests .

Reservations Outlook Plugin: hide default room finder on Scheduling Assistant
As described on the Microsoft Support website -- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2673231/how-to-control-the-room-finder-in-outlook, an update of the Microsoft Exchange Add-in added an option to completely disable the default Room Finder by adding the following registry entry. This change keeps the default room finder hidden also on the Scheduling Assistant view.
Outlook 2010 Location: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Preferences
Outlook 2013 Location: HKCU \Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences
Outlook 2016 Location: HKCU \Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\PreferencesName - Type - Value
RoomFinderForceDisabled - REG_DWORD - 1I suggest adding this to the Outlook Plugin MSI installer.

use start and end time in the scheduler/week/month view to set/adjust a block automatically
When setting a date, start and end time in the reservations console filter, and you select a room arrangement, a vlokc should appear in the scheduler/week/month view for the selected paramenters. When they are adjusted and the filter is applied, the block should adpat as well.
in case the user drags a different time frame for the meeting, the from to time in the filter should adapt as well.
This feature was present in 24.1 and was very usefull and widely used.
This item will also be a workaround for a bug that does not allow you to correctly adjust…

Workplace: improve search lists
As a user searching for the right equipment to attach to my work request, I'd like to be able to search quickly and easily for the equipment I'm looking for.
Search lists, like equipment or department, are not limited by the WebC parameter "recordLimit", which limits the list to a reasonable size and institutes paging. It should.
Also, for cases like equipment, it would be great to search by equipment standard and equipment name as well.

Prevent users from assigning licenses not present in the license file
In v25.2, we can still assign processes and mobile application security groups to users even if those applications are not licensed. The system would be more user friendly if it did not allow this.

Provide seamless management of space and real estate. Specifically, support the use case of connecting rooms and leases OOTB
We constantly have to customize Archibus to show highlighted leases on floorplans. With space console being the primary place for viewing floor plans, it would be helpful if an out of the box highlight/label for leases is present in space console, with the ability to associate rooms to leases. Bringing in the concept of suites wouldn't be a bad idea either, though most customers we service track space to the room and don't use suites.

Support shared allocations and occupancy on Space Console
ARCHIBUS Space users have increasingly relied on the Space Console as their primary interface for space-management tasks and reports. However, the Space Console doesn't support more flexible and complex activity-based working environments as well as older views that were designed for that purpose. The idea that a user must "downgrade" the user experience to handle more complex workflows is confusing and frustrating.
The proposal is to enhance the Space Console to support these specific and oft-required cases:
- Sharing rooms among multiple departments
- Assigning employees to primary and satellite workspaces
- Viewing both permanent and temporary (hoteled) occupancy together…78 votes -
"Kiosk" mode for hoteling
Customers are looking for ways to replace furniture system booking applications (Condeco) with Archibus functionality.
The Kiosk mode for room reservations in workplace could be a good alternative, if extended to Hoteling for workspaces.
A partnership between SpaceIQ/Archibus and a company providing desk beacons could be a good alternative, using barcode scanning and hoteling to initiate the booking. The beacon would then need to turn red, indicating the space is booked.

Filter in Space Console by Room Standard
Right now it is not possible to filter in the advanced filters by the standard. This was possible in the old console and it would be really useful.
Adding to this in the standards tab, the calculations made are not equivalent to the ones in the divisions/department and category tabs.
