Module Upgrade - List Features that are being removed
Archibus provides the new features that are included in the new version releases but fails to articulate the existing features that are being removed. This has caused our team challenges after an upgrade to find out that some of the things that we have been using no longer exists.
It would be helpful if the new version documentation includes new features BUT also ones that are being removed.5 votes -
Queue Failed Notifications For Resending
Create a queue for notifications, so Archibus can resend when there's a temporary mail server outage. Currently, if a notification fails because of an issue with the mail server, then that notification is "lost".

PM Generation on # day of the month
We would like to setup PMs to generate monthly, on the first day of each month. However, the only option is to schedule for the 1st Monday of each month, for example.
The issue clients are running into is they want September PMs to generate in September and October PMs in October, etc. If the pick the first Monday (or any other day of the week), PMs scheduled for the 1st – 7th might be generated in the previous month. For example, for September, the first Monday was 9/4 and the first Monday of October will be 10/2. On September…

Make hoteling confirmation email more user friendly.
Make the confirmation email sent when booking a workspace more user friendly.
- For the Employee Is: User the users first and last name instead of employee id
- List the workspace number separate from the building ID number.
- Display the building name as well as the building ID number.
- Instead of Day part say Duration of Booking
- If authorization is automatic, make sure status: says confirmed

Notifications Log - Missing Create Date in Filter and Result Set
After v26.3, Eptura added 4 new fields to the [afmnotificationslog] table. These fields are, [createdtime], [createdat], [emailcc], and [emailbcc].
The View Notifications Log view in WebCentral that is used to view with Notification Log has not been updated to include those fields. The number of records in that table can get quite large, making the filters very valuable. View File Limit and use same functionality on all views
When Scheduling a craftsperson to a work request, if you click on assign craftsperson and click on the ellipse for craftsperson code, not all records are shown, see the screen print attached. A suggestion is to make all the views the same as a defined employee for example where one can use the next button where it will display the universal amount on each page. Note: the universal limit setting in afm-config.xml for record limit works but makes the system very slow.

Reducing the spacing between rows in subsequent levels of the hierarchical tree. The idea is to make more data fit on the screen. Applies to all hierarchical tree views in Archibus.

Highlight day number in calendar after hover the cursor.
In date fields, after opening the calendar, when you hover over the day number, it should highlight or change the font color (before clicking). In older versions of the system, the font turned blue.

Improve Text/Label Formatting Issues when Assets Published from Revit SmartClient
Labels generated for assets in-line or close proximity result in overlapping text making it difficult to determine asset code. Recommend some way to customize how resulting label text is generated from Revit SmartClient (i.e. rotate or assign an offset for certain assets). Another option would be to link Revit Annotation Symbols (tags) in published views to asset label text. This option would allow users to fully customize tag/text location in a Revit view prior to publishing. Additionally, looking for any recommended workarounds until this issue can be resolved. A new Workplace App for booking any bookeable space.
A Workplace App where the user can find and reserve spaces such as meeting room, workplace, car parking, lockers, quiet zones and many.
In this way, users can book more than one amenity based on configurations, specific to each location. In summary, the booking readily available amenities and spaces will be hassle-free and clear.5 votes -

Move Management Application Parameters
Add move application parameters (and apply the settings to the move module, obviously...)
- number of days before move request
setting a value of 10 will not allow selecting a move date earlier than 10 days (oposite of reservations and max number of days)
- hide create service request checkbox
clients dont always have service desk or bldg ops - would be nice to be able to turn that field off;

Upload a video to attach to a maintenance request.
Sometimes a short video helps better identifying the nature of the problem than a picture, and thus assigning a proper priority or work team.
Of course the size/duration of the video should be restricted to avoid large files to be uploaded to the database.
Certainly useful in OnSite for technicians to better document incidents, might be also useful in the Workplace portal but with a lower priority2 votes -
Show Archibus version number again
In WebCentral & Workplace, show the version number again (it used to be in "about").
Now there's no way for a user to indicate what version he's using.
This is paramount for support.Suggestion : it could be visible in the menu in bottom/left or in the "my profile" popup.

Warning to be issued when the Entered Value deviates from Standard Value
We would like to have a mechanism that allows the inspector to notice when the entered value deviates from the standard. (Primary upper and lower limits, secondary upper and lower limits)

Add room category and type to the SLA parameters
It would be good to be able to trigger an SLA based on the Room Category/Type.
Use Case: if the WR is located in a lab (Room Type), I want a specific SLA to be used (one that notify the Lab Manager or require some approvals, for example).
