System usage statistics
The following information is to be made available from a system usage statistics perspective:
• Information on who (profiles) logged into the system
• When (start timestamp) did this login take place
• For how long did the session last (end timestamp)
• What applications were used during the session / Which tasks were accessed during the sessionThis basic information will enable clients to monitor system usage and use it as a tool to manage staff performance and adherence to internal processes.

Measure function on Space Console
It'd be good if you were able to measure room dimensions from within the Space Console. This would help massively with employees within our department who may want these dimensions but don't have access to AutoCAD/Revit

We are seeing more requests for single service desk and asset management systems that will support Operations and IT. Has there been any discussions of building an extension to interface with Service Now or build ITIL processes and functionality into ARCHIBUS?

hoteling
When you use Workplace to create a hoteling booking, the date that defaults is today's date. However, it seems that if there are no available hotelable workstations for today's date in the building that you choose, another tab opens with a blank white screen..... instead of just a message saying that there isn't availability based on the existing filters.

System offline/unavailable page
Create a replacement page that can be put up when system maintenance is being done or the database is taken offline for updates/upgrades/etc. that users can be redirected to that says something to the effect of "This instance of Archibus is currently unavailable due to maintenance. Please check back soon".
Admins could be able to route the main URL to this page if doing work on the database to notify users it's not available for a period of time.

Need the ability to add resources to reservations on Workplace
While there is a suggestion to add resource reservations to workplace reservations we need the ability to request resources to any room reservations as many users are now using workplace as the exclusive interface for their customers and they need the ability to request resources for their room reservations without going to the calendar console.

Accessibility - Enable Booking Cancellation for Employees who book on behalf of other Employees
When booking for another employee it would be preferable that both the employee that booked the workspace and the employee that the workspace was booked for have the ability to cancel the booking. Currently, only the employee that the workstation was booked for has access to the booking. However, employees with a disability may not be able to cancel their booking, therefore the employee that made the booking on their behalf should also be able to cancel the booking.

Resolve Conflicts in Workplace
Give people the ability to resolve conflicts in workplace – if 1 out of 5 occurrences is a problem, let them book the other 4 and skip that one/book it separately.

Notify Users that their booked desk is no longer available
Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.
Reasons for the unavailability:
1. desk changed from Hotelable to permanent seating
2. layout change
3. renumbering

Occupancy Plan
Some of our clients are using Workplace as the only interface for their user base. These users are identified as "Requestors" and since they aren't granted access to Web Central, there isn't a way to view an occupancy plan - meaning seeing employees on a floor plan. Workplace allows a user to search an employee but what's more desired is to bring up a floor plan and see who is seated on the entire floor at once. Craftsperson - My Timecard Report
This is a common ask from the craftsperson to be able to see the hours they have submitted for the Day/Week/Month.
If there was a pre-existing report for the CF that gave them this information on the mobile and WC it would be very beneficial. Lot of times, they use this this information to enter their timesheets in the HR system as well.26 votes -
Build service provider features into Archibus
We have more and more clients wanting to implement SAML via AWS, Azure or ADFS and Archibus only supports Legacy Header Based Authentication. We want to know (or suggest) if it's possible to build service provider features into Archibus.
Bring Archibus into current times and make it capable of Modern Authentication for user access. Else, we have to install and support Shibboleth-SP with every SAML request.
More and more of our clients are asking why ARCHIBUS do not use modern authentication. They have to apply for a dispensation to deviate from the prescribed minimum standards and requirements to have Shibboleth-SP…25 votes -
Allow contacts to have different contact roles based on Lease
When assigning contacts to a Lease, the contact type is inherited from the contacts table.
A single contact may be assigned to multiple leases, but have different a different role depending on the lease. For example, one contact may be a BUILDING SUPER for one lease contract, but a PROPERTY MANAGER for another lease.
Could ARCHIBUS add a Contact Role or Contact Type to the ls_contacts table so that the role can be assigned per lease?

Allow configurable layers from Revit Publishing
Layers coming out of Revit during the publishing process are not configurable and do not match existing CAD layers. Clients can directly control DWG/DXF layers when exporting independently but Archibus is exporting via a set template. Can a client use a custom DWG/DWF Template when exporting so layers in published files match between CAD and Revit?

Performance of the Archibus Login Process needs to be Improved
In v26.1 we find that the login process itself takes 6 seconds or more. Adding in the time to load the homepage, it can be 10 seconds before a user can interact with the application. Performance testing was done to refine page load times but we have not found anything to date to improve Login or Home significantly. The infrastructure of the environments are sized according to meet or exceed SpaceIQ specifications.25 votes -
Enabling kiosk with SSO
Enabling workplace in kiosk mode automatically signs in the GUEST account
However if SSO is enabled it is not possible to sign in as GUEST
Therefore the kiosk feature is not available for those clients (which are pretty numerous).
A solution could be for instance to be able to define a specific user account to be used with the kiosk (instead of the default GUEST account).25 votes -
Visitor Management functionality
Right now archibus allows us to register a new visitor and invite them to a meeting or to a booking. We are hoping for some extended functionality.
- visitor pass generation - ie a printable HTML formatted email that shows someone is able to be at the office.
- Visitor notification of arrival - a way visitors can check in at a lobby and allow those who are having a meeting with them to be notified of their arrival. Or in a booking scenario if someone booked them in then that person gets the notification.

Add a label in the Space Console to indicate that Advanced Filter is applied
If you are using the advanced filter In the space console, and cross-reference parameters there is no visual indication or label that suggests a filter is applied.
for example, if filter the Space Console to show: room status restricted by Department and Day of the Week, I would like that restriction to show as a label on the floorplan view.

Room Capacity for Support Space such as Conference rooms should not be included in Capacity
When calculating capacity for a building / floor, there is overlap in how the capem field is used. If the space is non-occupiable, such a s a conference room but there is a number in the capem field, this is included in the capacity of the floor. Many times this field is used to store how many seats the room has for reservation purposes, and should not affect the the floor capacity.

Make the tabs on the Maintenance mobile app (WR details view) configurable
When a Maintenance Craftsperson opens a WR on mobile often time they don't need all the different tabs. Majority of the clients don't use Parts or Tools. If there was a configuration option to hide these it would help in reducing the clutter on the mobile app to a large extent.
