  1. The 360 Viewer base on pannellum library was remove in Archibus 25.2 because a known security vulnerability CWE-80.

    I propose keep a panorama viewer in the Equipment Systems Console. It could be a fixed pannellum plug-in or other alternative 360 Viewer implemented by us (ARCHIBUS Community) with only Three.js or similar.

  2. When tickets are put on hold, users should take the ticket off hold and put it back to Issued and In Progress, and then work to complete it. This allows managers to identify what's really on hold and what's really being worked. It would be more user friendly if the Complete action was not available when a ticket is On Hold so it forces the user to either put it back in progress or close it out from the On Hold status.

  3. As Space Manager, I want to position the Tagged Furnitures by Drag and Drop in floor plan (SVG) in Web Central (i.e., Browser client), so that I have not to do the postioning in AutoCAD and publish the SVG again for each change.

    Rules:
    - on demand positioning of single tagged furnitures can be done by drag and drop
    - several tagged furnitures can be positioned by drag and drop in a move project and / or move scenarios
    - the postioning by drag and drop will update the location attributes (i.e., room, floor, building, etc.) of the tagged furnitures…

  5. When a work request has been rejected the requester should be able edit all the fields? if the request was rejected for incorrect information i.e. wrong location or missing location data, then the requester is unable to correct the error and add the missing information. Having only the description field editable is very limited.

  6. The support for Internet Explorer was removed for some later point releases of V24.* and then in V25.1. There's some good cases why it should be brought back.

    With everyone now staying at home working for the most part and most organizations have also switched to Microsoft Teams. Teams gives people a chance to create a channel and add a tab for example the URL/website tab. Here it becomes an easy transition for change management to just put in the ARCHIBUS/workplace for example as the URL. It appears Teams is using Internet Explorer for displaying a URL within teams.   7. Morning - parameter (start time and end time)
    Afternoon - parameter (start time and end time)

  8. A number of use cases have come up to consider for future phases of the Archibus-Serraview integration

    Phase 1A:

    Most important is to enable agile workplace management in Serraview, through the use of the VBS. Syncing back to Archibus at a minimum involves department allocation to rooms, room category assignments, and people located to floors (as the lowest common element).

  9. OTB fills in the current occupancy. A move scenario often starts with no occupancy. It would be good to have an option to clear the floor or a selected set of rooms for the scenario.

  10. Currently, if you have registered multiple CAD drawings for a floor, every form in Archibus will properly display the correct CAD drawing when viewing that floor except Workplace.

    Space Console, for example, will review the Rooms table to confirm which drawing is connected to the rooms on a floor, and then display the SVG associated with that drawing.

    Workplace queries the drawings table to retrieve a list of drawings associated with a floor, and then tries to display the SVG associated with the first drawing retrieved in the query.

  12. Part management

    There is a need to identify the difference between reserved (on shelf) and reserved on a job (Not on shelf). There is a big problem tracking stock that is assigned to a job and the part changes from available to reserved. This is not being update when the cf collects it from the shelf, until the job is complete, but this could be a while. It is therefore difficult for stores manager when doing inventory to be sure what the physical count should be. There should be a status change and a pt store update at the point…

  13. Archibus has created Workplace as the employee-experience front-end, for requesting services finding rooms, finding colleagues, and making reservations.

    Serraview has done something similar with Engage.

    Ultimately there should be one employee-experience front-end that services customers on both platforms. The bet is on Engage. When Engage becomes more feature-equivalent to Workplace, then it should be able to step in and provide the same functionality that Workplace does to Archibus users. Then we have one front-end to maintain.

    Approaches to this connection depend on platform direction, customer adoption, and use cases. They include:

  14. Reservations calendar console - My Reservations - minifilter requires english value "Cancelled" instead of german "Storniert".

    The mini console search doesn’t reflect localized terms as expected. Based on our current system behavior, the search functionality uses English keywords by default, regardless of the selected locale.

    For software used internationally, it's essential to adapt languages ​​consistently. It must be configurable, not hard-coded.

  15. Our client is leveraging SSO with MFA, specifically using a hardware security key (YubiKey) for mobile authentication. We are able to verify that this works on a mobile phone using the web browser on the mobile phone (e.g. Chrome and Safari). However, when trying to login to the Mobile App - Mobile Framework 4.0 and Workplace, the MFA is not recognized.

    This is because the Archibus browser used within the mobile app does not support webauthn, which is the technology that allows users to log into a wbsite using a hardware security key.

  16. Problem:
    When you create an issue report linked to a preventive maintenance (PM) ticket, the relationship is visible in the system (e.g., in the "Related Requests" section of the ticket search screen).
    However, in the database, the PM ticket doesn’t show the issue report’s information (i.e., no backlink). Only the issue report contains the PM ticket's reference (parentwrid field).

    Where Data is Stored:
    For active tickets, the information is in the wr table.
    For completed tickets, it’s in the hwr table, specifically in the parentwrid field.

  17. We are experiencing an issue with the Maintenance Survey Report in our system. Specifically, we are unable to determine when each individual checklist item was entered. This makes it challenging to track and verify the timing of data entries for our maintenance activities.

    Issue Details:
    Desired Screen: Maintenance Survey Report.
    Current Problem: The report does not display the input time for each individual checklist item.
    Our Request: We would like the input time for each checklist item to be displayed in the Maintenance Survey Report, similar to how it appears in Report Central.

  18. For many clients it is important to keep an official track of the maintenance activity completion and acceptation (legal constraints for sensitive industries such as transport, pharma, defence,...).
    e-signature of the WR through OnSite is often requested by our clients/prospects and would be a key evolution for this application.

  19. In the Maintenance Console, it would be nice to have the ability to save filters.
    OOTB, they are saved in the recent filters but it has 2 drawbacks: 1. there is a limit in term of the number of filter saved that way. 2. they disappear when users clear their cache (which happens every time there is a new deployment).
