Ability to turn off / hide sidebar navigation
Customers that dont license Performance Metrics will be forced to use the sidebar navigation as well as a 'home page' configured to show just the applications or specific 'buckets' of common tasks/functions.
With the lack of performance metrics for these users, having the left-hand nav and the task based home page will be redundant. Would be nice to still enable one method or the other.

Workflow to update employee locations based on teams, contingency location, hoteling or reserved locations
Traditionally, there's a em.bl_id field storing where someone is as assigned seating and the locate the employee reports only look at that location. Can there be a workflow that just runs somehow to evaluate whether someone is at a hoteling desk right now or at a team location so that when we search for where employees are or find an employee we can to find them by their current location?
For example it would be nice for there to be a configurable parameter so system admins can decide the order of priority of how the system should determine where someone…

Re-design and re-code "Close WO/WR" process
"Close WO/WR" process has been coded long time ago with a SQL that is unefficient and many times produces errors or deadlocks. After discussing this with many BPs, we have agreed that a complete analysis with re-desing and re-coding from scratch should be performed in this process (considering not only the closing of an individual WO/WR but also the batch closing of many of them and also the AutoClose WFR).

User Management - Login Timestamp and Account Status
For many clients, there are critical needs and often government compliance requirements for user accounts. Clients are required to suspend access if a user has not logged in for a certain period (such as 90 days), and sometimes to delete a user if they have not logged in for a certain period (such as 180 days).
I am aware of the GDPR functionality. While that is useful for account deletion, the Archibus system lacks the necessary information to make any determinations on when to set the deletion date. If using SSO, we may or may not be able to get…

Show Requestor Phone number in OnSite App
Currently the Requestor Phone number from the wr.phone field is NOT visible anywhere in OnSite. Ideally this would be visible on the work request listing page or at least on the work request detail page. The only phone number shown is if there is a value in the em.phone field it is shown when selecting the phone icon under the requestors name in the work request detail page.

Date Restrictions on Hoteling and Room Reservations
For both Room Reservations and Hoteling.
Use case: when a building is getting decommissioned, the client wishes to permit reservations up to the building's final day of operations and no later. In other words, If the building closes on July 1, a user logging in on June 29 should be able to reserve for June 30 but not July 2.
Use case: when a building is coming online, users should be able to reserve rooms on the day it opens before that day. If the building opens on July 1, a user logging in on June 29 should be able…

BIM Viewer - ACC Models navigation
A person who uses an ACC account should se many different folders & models depending on its ACC rights. Only a few of them are related to the Facility Management « live » processes.
It must be possible to limit the ACC folder to a specified sub-tree.
The objective is to avoid opening models not related to ARCHIBUS, or which can alternative versions.
It must be possible to define a unique list of models behind the « building » button?
It should be setup in the afm_dwgs table with defining the right place to find them in ACC.

Mark Spaces as Occupied Without Having to Assign Anyone to the Space
Due to security concerns, some clients cant assign all employees to thier assigned seat in the Space Console (Police Departments, Courts...). Archibus does not let you mark a seat as occupied without specifically assigning an employee to it. This makes it impossible to get an accurate vacancy count or visual of what seats are actually available. We need a way to manually mark a space as occupied or assign a placeholder user to multiple spaces so that clients can still see accurate vacancy and occupancy counts without having to assign employees to the spaces.

mail OAUTH2
Microsoft is making the move to disable basic authentication for mail services. Going forward, all authentication must be done through OAUTH2.
Can Archibus be upgraded to allow OAUTH2 authentication with SMTP servers?10 votes -
Opacity of plans
Ability to determine the opacity of background plans. On AutoCAD, the plan has bold lines. But after publishing, they come out faded, especially for mobile. No amount of tweaking existing parameters affects this. A CSS had to be created to bypass this functionality.

Group rooms for Hoteling (without creating a new polyline)
We would like to be able to create “groups” of rms in order to allow booking of a non-specific workpoint in a selection of workpoint without having to re-draw an open space polyline on top of our individuals workpoints polylines to create a “group”.
For example, we have spaces where employees are mobile during the day and can use multiple workstations depending on the task performed. We want these employees to book a "space” among a group of workpoints available for them without having to specify which one so they book a “capacity” and we can manage occupancy. So if…

Hoteling - Photo of the desk when booking
It would be good for the workplace portal to display a photo of the desk being booked.
Though most client won't have the luxury of time to upload a photo of each desk, it would nice to have a bulk photo reference where one can upload a photo of a desk and it could mean it's the photo of all desks in the building, or desks that match a type or a floor.10 votes -

Checklist - Collapsible Panel
Checklists can get pretty lengthy. As such, a collapsible panel (or fly-out - with a status of inside questions ) would help to make them easier to navigate / complete.

Ability to select a child level (eg Department) without the need to enter the parent level first in SC Extension Edit Data box
Starting with v 25.x, 'Edit Data' box in SC Extension does not allow picking a value for a lower/child level data field, such as 'Department Code' unless you first pick the parent level. This has been reported as a pain point by some of our customers as it requires that you know the parent first, which is not always the case. We suggest that the original capability of selecting the child is put back in SCE.

Compliance questionnaire sections collapsible under headings
When there are a lot of questions under a questionnaire and some do not apply based on the 1st question answered Yes/No, want to collapse the section so the user is not scrolling thru questions to get to the next section.
In this example: a chiller system has 4 chillers, at any one time 1 or up to 4 chillers could be running depending on weather conditions.
That means if only Chiller 3 and 4 are running, the inspector needs to scroll thru all the questions for 1 and 2 to get to their questions for 3 & 4
If…

Mobile Framework: allow logout when SSO has been enabled
Within Mobile, when SSO has been enabled to ensure the security requirements of an organization are met, it means that there is no Signout Button/capability for mobile users. This means that we can not be cost effective in sharing mobile devices (and software licenses) because there is no Signout button or Automatic Timeout button that releases the users session login
The work effort to work around not having a Signout Button, is to
a) uninstall/reinstall the app every time a device needs to be shared, OR
b) clear data/clear cache. This is time costly and counter productive to trying to…
