Mobile Framework: allow logout when SSO has been enabled
Within Mobile, when SSO has been enabled to ensure the security requirements of an organization are met, it means that there is no Signout Button/capability for mobile users. This means that we can not be cost effective in sharing mobile devices (and software licenses) because there is no Signout button or Automatic Timeout button that releases the users session login
The work effort to work around not having a Signout Button, is to
a) uninstall/reinstall the app every time a device needs to be shared, OR
b) clear data/clear cache.
This is time costly and counter productive to trying to gain efficiencies with a mobile device.
For example, after some quick test runs, on a slower device/connection it can take 10-15 minutes elapsed time to complete this task including reloading all the data.
The rough staff cost over 3 years of this activity, based on the staff levels we currently have, means a loss of $600,000.
Additionally, the frustration level of having to do these software activities is a barrier to adoption of the software and mobile.
To not have a Signout button in Mobile, with SSO enabled, is truly mind boggling.
Please please please - fix this. Thank you.
