Accessibility - Support the use of Windows Contrast themes
Workplace controls can 'disappear' when different Windows Accessibility Contrast themes are selected.
While accessibility improvements have been and continue to be made, users can change their Windows contrast and still have issues navigating the Workplace app.
Official accessibility support in these configurations is desired to support government clients.
Example: Using the "Aquatic" setting (see below on how to set), there were still multiple WCAG findings using a browser accessibility test tool related color contrast ratios.Steps (Windows PC):
Settings -> Accessibility -> Contrast Themes
Choose Aquatic

Login process - Infomessage required, when no more licenses are available
If a user logs in to self-service (".../workplace") and there are no more licenses available at that time, the user will not receive an info message, but rather an endlessly rotating circle on a black background.
Here it is required that the user receives a meaningful message from the system.

Save Favourite Workspaces for easy re-booking
Add Reservation Locations to Favourites. See what days your favourite spaces are available, not only when you go to a specific date. If we could assign user-specific "nicknames" that would be nice too (such as "Corner by the Window" or "Close to Print Station" for example).

Allow check in ONLY by QR Code
Allow configuration where users can check into reservations/hoteling spaces only by QR code to ensure that the user is onsite. In many cases they do not want the user at home to check into their booking they must be on site during the check in window.

To determine whether the attendees will attend the meeting virtually or in-person
There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog
Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog.
We are looking to add the functionality of editing the Menu Title for Out-Of-The-Box service request types in the Service Catalog e.g. SERVICE DESK - INDIVIDUAL MOVE, SERVICE DESK - HOTELING.
Currently, the Service Catalog is where all the request types in Workplace are created. It shows the Out-Of-The-Box request types and allows you to update the Menu Titles, but changes to the Menu Titles or descriptions are not reflected in the corresponding work request tiles in Workplace.
You are also given a manage activity types task, to edit the same Activity…

Request Screen Button has a bad UX design
The Blue Request button is originally blanked and then when fixed, the button was created too small.

Compare Asset Database Records
There needs to be a way to QC Assets in the Archibus database vs. those placed in Revit. Basically, a database comparison between the two, similar to the Windowed Assets where it shows assets in Revit that 'used' to be in Archibus. The example QC is for Room that may be in Archibus and never were connected via Revit. See attachments for workflow concept.

User Forum
Request: Dedicated forum for Archibus and Smart Client users.
Justification: Limited online community knowledge sharing available.
Implementation: Structure would differ from UserVoice currently as questions would be posed to the user community. Site monitored by other users and Eptura product team to answer questions or request improvement/feedback to future builds as it operates now. Recommend including a search feature for users to reference previously ask questions. Recommend ability to mark forum responses as solutions/solved to posed questions/problems - similar to the Autodesk forums.
Expected benefits:
- Increased user engagements and knowledge sharing.
- Reduced burden on Eptura support to answer…5 votes -
Maps in Workplace
When creating a Service Request in Workplace, it would be nice to be able to use a map to define its location.
Same feature as in Report Problem.3 votes -
Harmonize Meeting Booking Notifications
The notification emails are not consistent when you book a meeting as an organizer versus when you invite attendees to a meeting.
When you book as an organizer without inviting attendees, you receive an email notification with the door code info for certain rooms, but without the ics file to book it in the calendar.
If you invite other people they receive an email with the ics file, but no door code info.
Can both emails include the door code info and the ics file attachment?

Deactivate tagging in OnSite comments
it would be nice to have a parameter to deactivate the tagging feature in comment in OnSite and the Maintenance Console.
The rational is that sometimes, Archibus is the back-end system that manages the work request.
The communication with the customer is then handled by the front end system.
In this scenario, we don't want Archibus to send emails to people for work requests.2 votes -
Comments put on a WR when assigning a CF to show up in OnSite
Currently, in the Maintenance Console, when a Supervisor assigns a Craftsperson to a Work Request and puts a comment, that comment does not appear in OnSite.
Craftsperson should be able to see all comments entered on the Work Request they have been assigned to. Especially when that comment is made at the time of the assignment.
The rational is that when a supervisor assigns a CF to a WR this is when they add a comment for the CF.
Users are confused as they're putting comments when assigning CF but then the CF does not see it.

Allow Users to Acknowledge Reservation Costs in Workplace
When a cost is set for a room reservation, allow the option for a cost confirmation box to appear when the user is making the reservation. The user would be required to select that they acknowledge the reservation cost before proceeding.
Currently there is no visibility into the room costs in Workplace and before charging anyone the space team needs to make sure they are aware. Currently they are just adding the cost as an amenity but that could easily be missed.

Make the Time Management Chart/Table more clear
I would love for the TIME MANAGEMENT - EDIT, INPUT & APPROVE page to have lines/different colours/something to distinguish the different days. Often I have to scroll down and over to get a full picture of the information and I get lost as to which day column I'm in. (Please see photo for an example) Also, having the Day/Date bar move down with you as you scroll would be ideal.

Smart Client Delete/Reallocation Pop-up Warning
There have been situations where it was in error that a floor was deleted or moved to a different building. A pop-up to confirm deletion, or even reallocation of building & floors would be ideal to avoid accidental or even confirm correct actions to be taking place.

Display Occupancy Highlight when submitting a Move via Workplace.
Many companies are utilizing Workplace for the general population to submit a Move Request. However, there isn't an Out of the Box Occupancy highlight when submitting a move via Workplace to allow the user to see what offices are available.

Only allow Chat function (button) to be active when there is a value in the em.cellular_number field
Currently the chat icon is bolded when there is a value in the em.phone field. however this field would typically contain the value of a business phone number that cannot be messaged. It would make more sense to have this associated with the em.cellular_number field which would be more likely setup for messaging.
