Send email to Workplace Admins when teams deleted
When removing a person from a Team as a Workplace Administrator, system should send an email alerting admin they've been removed from list of teams at respective locations. This would work concurrently to adding admins to teams for them to receive notification of changes.
OR even better, a workplace admin change email that tells the admin teams they've been added and/or removed from.

Error Definitions
There should be a glossary somewhere explaining what the different errors mean. I keep getting "object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to import a floor plan but have no idea what that means, nor do I know what object it is referring to.

Floorplan Export to include manual mapping changes
Currently, using the Export Floorplan feature, enables us to export Serraview mapping including any manual space name or type changes since I imported the floorplan.
As we gain the enhancement of manual mapping back into V3, I want to be able to export manual space shape and new spaces into the AutoCad export.
This will allow me to ensure my next floorplan import update will include my current changes for accurate updates, as well as requiring less effort in updating the original file to match.

Assign Secured actions to Users without assigning them to a Secured Role
And admin should be able to assign a single secured action to a user without having to assign a complete role. Many times you need a person to have exactly the same access as an existing user with the need for that user to have one more secured action or one less.
In these cases I've had to create a role with one secured action in it. This has happened multiple times which means the list of roles increases to the point of massive confusion. It would be far easier to have a few standard roles, and the ability to…

We need to stop validators from being able to make changes in workplace. But we don’t want to change validators profiles, so when we’re ready to go back to a normal way of working we don’t have to work out who looked after who."

Edit Email Template - view to be full screen
Editing an email template on half the screen is not user friendly.
Email body contains a lot of text that needs to be edited.
The parameters on the right hand side are also unreadable if they are long.Please expand the email template into it's own tab or full page view for easier editing.

Block and stack based on information apart from organisation structure
At unimelb, each user belongs to a research group. The property team allocates desks on the floor by research group for each of the users. However, the research group is not part of current organization structure.
As a result, unimelb needs the ability to block & stack and report by research group.
What is therefore required is the ability to leverage research group stored against staff and block floors accordingly.
Eg: User A belongs to ‘Physics R&D’ research group. User A has org unit ‘MSE’ and ‘10001’ as cost centre.

Service Request Report needs more detail
It would be great to have a SR report that captures all of the details submitted in the service request. Report 35 - Service Request Raw Data only provides some information not everything that has been input into the service request.
If a report like the BOS Report 102 could be created for SRs, that would be beneficial.7 votes -

Set the Move number (how many people) field to start at a specific number
For service requests, once you select a move type, large or small, it would be helpful if we could set the number of people for a small move to not be able to select above a specific number (small moves do not exceed 19 ppl) and a large move can not go below a specific number (20) .

Edit/remove stack scroll animation
When navigating in VBS, the way the stack dynamically moves to show more people when I hover over a team can cause issues. This is especially the case when trying to hover over teams with few/zero workpoints to find and select them.
It would be useful to have this function revised from a usability perspective to be less inhibiting. Or to have a config option to turn it off in preference of a static stack.

Add the option to view Workplace allocation by Org Unit levels
Currently Workplace will show allocations by Teams.
I have a large number of teams on each floor, created based on my occupant. As a result, I have teams with only a handful of occupants, sometimes only 1 person.
I would like the option to view my occupants at an org unit level so I do not have to go into each individual team to validate.
If it's by org unit level, much like the grouping in VBS, I can review all occupants and click 'Validate' only once for all. This will make validation smooth and easier for my workplace administrators.

Disconnect a scenario from live data
It would be useful to be able to disconnect a new scenario from live data. Resolving conflicts is useful on smaller planning projects, but on larger portfolios where thousands of changes occur daily, it would be good to plan with the data captured when creating the scenario, and the ability to completely disregard changes/validations in the live environment during that planning phase.

Locker Filter Option
You can't filter lockers in the 3.0 tool based on whether they're assigned unlike in 2.66. You can report on those lockers and apply the filter in excel to see the data you need- but it is not user friendly to run a report rather than being able to filter in the locker screen.
