  1. In Buildings and Floors, Serraview has a Post Code box for the address under the edit mode. However outside the edit mode this code does not show. Please turn on so that my client, who has no access to edit, can see this zip code - post code information. See the pictures below to illustrate this point.

  2. To prevent unintentional deletion of floors or zones in Building & Floors within Assets, can you please add a stronger warning note before allowing deletion to occur.

    A zone was unintentionally deleted and the only warning was: "Are you sure you want to delete?" Deleting the zone resulted in a large amount of lost data, including locker, storage, and occupancy data.

    Consider adding a warning like: "Deleting may result in significant data loss which may affect your locker, storage, and occupancy data - Are you sure you want to continue?"

  3. As a System Admin, I am required to bulk update config fields within the 'Settings' and 'Details' section of the Building & Floors form.

    It is most important that I can bulk update the 'Settings' when I want to show the building or floor in Wayfinding (Engage or Locator), VBS, Workplace etc.. This can be a time consuming activity if I have to individually update these settings one at a time.

  4. I have a very large and complex portfolio that spans over regions with three levels. Depending on my building use, I can have multiple regions based on locations across a parent.

    For example, I have parents 'Australia' and 'New Zealand'. Within each of these parents I have a sub-region called 'CBD'. This produces results of
    Australia - CBD - Building
    New Zealand - CBD - Building

    This makes it difficult when I search for a building as it will only show me the parent region 'CBD'.

    Can we build a configurable selector that will display the regions in the order…

  6. currently leased area can only be imported as sq M but on the conversion from sq ft, the actual value is off by decimals. When these are contracted numbers that is a problem as they have to be exact. please allow us to import in sq ft to the leased area field

  7. We have remote workers and the way we handle this issue is to have a NUS (non user of space) floor and a Unassigned floor for those people who are new hires and have not been assigned a desk or assigned as NUS.

    Is it possible to put in a logic for these virtual floors to not have a floor plan uploaded to them (prevent them to have a drop down on the floorplan upload). I've made a mistake of uploading a drawing to a retail site that only has one floor and accidentally uploaded to the NUS floor (which…

  8. With Covid happening it would be good to come up with a way to identify tiers of critical locations without removing who is currently or who will be in the space.

    Tiers -> Tier 1 and Tier 2

    Tier 1 – critical teams need to remain in locations on site

    Tier 2 – second most critical in their locations

    Critical Location ->

    Using that to identify what floors need to remain open for the Bank to run

    Help knowing what locations to keep open, which to close, cleaning schedules, etc

  9. Create Waiting lists for floorplans/neighbourhoods/team allocations, when no work points are available. If a work point becomes available it will create a booking as per the waiting list.

  10. Currently, when renaming a floor, you are able to type as many characters as you like, but without any warning or error, it will only save the first 20 characters. This limitation does not apply to the Zone, which will have the completed floor name with no cap on characters.

    It would be appropriate to only allow 20 characters to be typed, or a warning to show when going above the threshold, so users do not have a floor with a half cut-off name without knowing.

  11. The ability to add or remove text labels for space attributes to the exported autocad dwg files in the Buildings & Floors form. I am sure everyone has a need to see things like Department #, Occupant Names, or Room Names in autocad. When creating autocad drawings for move coordination or furniture reconfiguration, having the most up to date text in your drawing is a must. Currently there is only the space type and Space names. Maybe this could be an "Ad Hoc" setting within the Buildings & Floors form

  12. It's presently easy for customers to have a mix of, e.g., US vs USA vs U.S.A. vs United States, etc. and the like for other countries, making it difficult to build standard dashboard and report filters and difficult for end consumers to consistently and quickly select records of interest.

  14. Ability to add multiple leases on a floor plan which would include multiple different load factors. Currently in the Buildings & Floor window and floor view, only a single lease or load factor is allowed. Can manually add in charge back report but wastes a lot of time.

  15. Currently, you cannot assign Non VBS Locations to assets like carparks. Floors with carparks don't need to show up in Spaces and VBS, but still need to be assigned to people. It would be extremely easy if we could assign Non VBS locations too.

  16. Add the number of Vacant and Occupied desk totals next to each to the Legend. This will quickly show the number of people that are in the office and a particular floor which is good for office management.

  17. With the new feature to open and close floors it would be preferable for those desks/floors to be greyed out instead of looking green and available. An error message does pop up when you try to book but it is small and states "Building" is closed instead of just the chosen floor. Could their be an option to personalise the comment per building and make it clearer with greyed out desks?

  18. When we visit site, and plug our laptops into the network/or WiFi, what about having the system automatically recognise where we have plugged in (i.e. building, floor and maybe even desk) so when you open up Serraview the default screen opens on the floor you are located instead of then having to search for the building, floor etc.
