  1. Multiple tables have a need to be archived as data grows in size, particularly the captured Metrics for trends, (afmmetrictrend_values) , notifications log, and data event logs. When there is no auto archive process integrated, an archiving console could be provided that will allow the user to determine
    a. the table to be archived
    b. whole or partial archive
    c. date or pkey (or other criteria) for archiving a partial data set
    d. merge to existing historical table or create a new historical table

The process would then use these options to remove records from the data table…

  2. This likely occurs in many reports but let's use the "Hoteling -> Bookings -> Review Desk Bookings" view as an example.

To reproduce this issue, have enough bookings so that a vertical scroll bar appears. For example, if Department Code or Visitor Name of the first record on the list, you would need to scroll to the bottom of the page to access the scroll bar, use the scroll bar to view a column that is off the screen, and then scroll back up to the top to view the first record.

This is inconvinient and makes it difficult to…

  3. Either a calendar to select which days a room is reservable/not reservable or the ability to specify which days of the week a room is reservable.

For example, I have a client that does not want rooms reservable on weekends.

Being able to set it on a per room basis in "Reservations -> Background Data -> Define Room Arrangements" would be ideal.

  4. We recently responded to a GSA RFP that included Federal Real Property. Archibus has a Federal Real Property app that is on the GSA Schedule however it is several years out of date and is a set of standalone tables, not integrated with the core data structure. An FRP app has been developed by a Business Partner that is compliant with current GSA FRP data structure and I believe is integrated with the core AFM data structure.

What is AI's commitment to upgrading the FRP app and keeping it compliant with current GSA data structure and reporting requirements?

    If this…

  5. It is important that each feature implemented in a system like Archibus is obvious to the end user. If a system requires minimal to no training to allow an end user to perform a task, people will consider the system "user friendly" and will like to use it. This has been a challenge for the Archibus product in the past. A perfect example of this is the download link that is displayed once a file is generated in Smart Client or Web Central (see picture attached). Once the export process is complete, it is not obvious to the end user…

  6. As a Business Analyst, I want to be able to define performance metrics using custom datasource/views, because it is far easier to join multiple tables that way then using sub-queries.

  7. The visibility of requests in the Service Console does not work for Substitutes. This is an issue in the operational environment because the requests are "stuck" when someone is not available e.g. for an approval or service provider to action. Substitutes are working in the old individual tasks e.g:
    Workplace Services/Service Desk/Business Manager/Approve Service Requests
    Workplace Services/Service Desk/Service Provider/Accept/Decline Service Requests
    Workplace Services/Service Desk/Service Provider/Issue/Complete Service Requests

It is critical that all these substitute functions are carried over to the Service Console.

  8. We were asked if it is possible to show the seat number in the tool, not only under People&Place, but also under Workspaces.
The reason is that it is difficult for local people to show to visitors where they are sitting otherwise. Re. attachment

  10. In both mobile and desktop application, Once a checklist has been completed the ability to generate this checklist into a PDF and sent (email) it to a recipients (who may be not archibus users).

Scenario we are providing a service on an asset or location and the Work request has a Checklist involved. Once completed we need to supply documented evidence of the works completed and a copy of the service checks. The ability to immediately email this or email it later in PDF format give the ability to provide evidence of service. This is the same expectations we have…

  11. When you setup the PM for a piece of equipment, it copies over some of the data (specifically location data) from the equipment record to the PM Schedule record which is displayed in the PM Planner.
If you change the equipment data (eg. location) after this has been setup, the changes do not automatically propagate to the PM Schedule record.

If you wish to update the PM schedule you will either need to do so in a separate step or unassign the PM Procedure and reassign it to get the updated information propagated to the PM Schedule record. Only then…

  12. In BOC, when a ticket is rejected, a requester has the ability to update/cancel. Where a client requests directly through workplace (having no access to maintenance console), there is no update/cancel option in the view service requests view. The request is no longer visible to maintenance staff and sits in the pending status.

  13. When readings are collected as part of a maintenance inspection survey, there is a view (in v25.3 and later) "Maintenance Survey Report" that is available to view the actual questions and answers for each survey.

Compliance does not have any reports that summarize the survey, questions and answers in a format where something like daily readings can be reviewed over a period of time to recognize trends or changes.

It would be very helpful to have a report that could be filtered by the questionnaire, date range, eq_id or standard or location just like the maintenance survey. The ability to…

  14. Some of the users only have a homepage to access ARCHIBUS and thus have no real processes in the navigation (other than home/search/favorites) and no real need for a space-consuming navigation bar on the left side of the screen.

It should therefore be possible to open the Web Central with the navigator bar minimized by default ? Ideally this could be set a application parameter.

  15. When viewing the made requests over to the workplace portal, it would be nice to see comments for the request. For example if a ticket submitted was rejected, it doesn't explain why there was a rejection to the end user.

The email notification from the rejection also does not share the comment. But the rejection process done over in the webcentral maintenance console does have an area where you can write a comment so someone is filling that information out. Basically the requestor should know why it was rejected because it was a duplicate or was it because it's too…

  16. 25.3 - The search for a view is useful. After I find it, I would like to understand where it falls in the navigation hierarchy.
    1. This reinforces how to find it next time I need it.
    2. I can more easily differentiate views with similar names.
The right-click show task, task file, and path that we get with a view normally would be fine.
(I thought I saw this in here somewhere else, but today I can't find it. Sorry if it is a repeat.)

  17. There is an option to turn on specific fields to make visible. Based on users and multiple departments needing different fields displayed, it would be more efficient if as a user can save multiple views based on who the user is working with and not reset when cache is cleared. See attached images for examples.

  18. Currently escalation emails are sent after a WR/WO is overdue. Users would like to be able to configure when escalation emails are sent to help them better manage their work. If escalation emails are sent out the day before it's due, craftsperson(s) can prioritize their work better and be alerted of what is due soon.

  20. We should be able to at least see the equipment information when scanning the QR Code.

We are expecting that as much information is visible in the Workplace App on scanning the QR Code for any equipment, at least the same information should also be displayed on the Onsite App
