Date Required
Before the Report a problem screen, the creative work request screens included the date/time required fields as part of the form. This is vital so people report problems or requesting work to carry out can indicate the specific date and time the work is required. As this was an option in the past and the fields are still in the database, this is some way ready to go.

I am very surprised that no action has been taken on this, as there has got to be many instances where a customer has a request for something to be done, such as an event set-up, for "December 12th at 4pm". Being able to choose a Date Required ir creating a Calendared Priority and have the date and time populate the Date and Time to Perform after the work is Approved / Issued is essential. Also make sure to integrate this capability to Workplace, OnSite, and have it easily viewable for the craftsperson on their mobile device.

Found what I believe is a workflow designed to manage SLA selection when the date/time required was used. "AbBldgOpsHelpDesk-SLAService-determinepriority". Our development team reused this as part of the coding when reinstating these fields for a client.

I think there was an attempt to match the required date/time to the closest SLA when it was available, currently, we are overwriting the date/time_escalation after the SLA workflows have been run. However, it would be better to have some kind of SLA control, even a setting that controls the display of the fields if the user is allowed to set this information. it is also a good idea to include time before the restriction, again this could be a control feature in SLA's

I recall the Date/Time Required fields in the "old" Create Work Request screen. I may be misremembering, but I didn't think that actually did anything. Regardless, if the option were to return it probably needs to be more configurable. Perhaps it needs to be an option for SLAs to allow the selection of Date/Time Required or not. But, needs to also apply some limits on Date/Time Required. For example... make it so a request can't be submitted at Noon that the requester says needs to be done by 3 PM that same day.
