Improvements to Calendar, Booking, Date/Time and Building/Floor controls
Several enhancements for a better user experience:
Booking Selector and Calendar Improvements
- Clearly show the "Now" button can be used to change the day and time you are making a reservation for
- Configure if the calendar is Mon-Sun or Sun-Mon
- Hide Weekends
- Improve the calendar display for meeting spaces
- Change days within a booking screen
- Consistency between Mobile and Web versions of engage for filter icons, search icons, search and filter configurations and other icons

Engage: First Responder Icons and locations on map
When looking up first responders on a floor, instead of having to scroll through each responder to identify their location, it would be excellent if icons were loaded when enabling a responder type on the floor plan. This would save time trying to find who is the closest person to an incident and provides those who are responsible an easy visual to see potential areas where responder coverage is needed.

Concierge Menu Enhancements - Text location, gif/video backgrounds, tiling options
Enhancements to the Engage Concierge menu should include:
- Customise the location of text within the tiles
- Customise the font and colour of text within tiles
- Customise colour of arrows to move tiles
- Play a looping video (mp4 or gif)
- Play a single image or video behind tiles, without separate images per tile
- Option for horizontal or vertical scrolling on either web or mobile

Events through Engage
As an Engage user, I would love to see Engage used for RSVPs to events that companies can host within their spaces (or off-site events)- that won't count against our regular seat counts.
Examples:
1) Our client is hosting a holiday event, and for social distancing purposes, want to cap the capacity to a certain number. It would be lovely to set up a "building" as the event itself to help monitor RSVPs in one place.
2) During COVID, our client sets up "Outdoor Offices" that are temporary sites to encourage company culture while waiting to return to the office,…10 votes -
Booking Failed Messages Need to be more Descriptive of the Error
The error messages in Engage have no details as to why a booking cannot go through (examples). This causes users to believe the tool itself is not working.
1. Daily Booking has reached its limit. Please try another day.

Change the selected desk to colour
Currently when you select a booked desk, it will display the same colour as an available desk which can cause confusion to users as it appears available.
E.g. All available desks are configured to be green. When you select a reserved desk (blue) it will change to green. This should remain blue or be another colour, not the same colour as available.

The functionality to show you on google maps the location of the building is not always required. Especially for clients with a single building in Engage.

Ability to search for someone before navigating to a floor
Currently you need to navigate to a floor to search for a user. It would be good to have a search bar on the front page to start searching for someone quickly without loading a floor plan.
This should include an icon to indicate if the user is currently detected (SVLive), Has a booking or not

Serraview Spaces Module - Run Quick Reports or Engage Bookings
The quick reports in Spaces (Floorplan Block and Space Report) are not applicable to anything to do with Engage. We now have the ability to see the Bookable desks in this module (which is great!), but we can't run a PDF report to visualize it or send to another team, etc.

Check in Automation using Badge, SVLive, Sensors or Geolocation
Using various data sources automatically check a user in to a booking. Such as:
- Badge data - When a user swipes into the floor
- SVLive - When a user logs into a device on the floor
- Geolocation - When a user is detected in proximity to the building

Enable Push notifications / emails
Management and staff may want alerts staff to an incident or disseminate an update. They can use Engage platform to push notifications to staff via the app.
Examples should include:
- Important Faciliites/Emergency information eg: "Lift under repairs today. Please use stairs" / "water leak on L08. please do not enter"
- Evacuation in progress
- When a selected colleague has made a booking, checked in or checked out

Use Engage App to replace employee physical security passes
Configure the Engage application to receive and manage digital access credentials from HID.
This would enable employees mobile devices (e.g. smartphone) to gain access to secured doors, gates, lockers, printers, networks, services, etc, in replacement of a traditional physical access pass.
Would significantly reduce the administration of physical security management, including issuing, temporary and lost passes, termination, and increase enterprise security.

Engage - Dark Mode
Add option to display Engage maps and UI in Dark Mode (using black for negative space instead of white, saving power by requiring less of the users screen to be lit). Ideally, this should be a configuration option for individual users, but could be a global option set by user admins as well.

Change the 'Back' icon to a 'Home' icon
Within the Maps/Wayfinder (reservation) view in Engage, the back button (top left) takes users back to the Concierge menu. In certain views, this doesn't match expectations - users might expect to go back to the floorplan view, and then have to navigate back to where they were.
This function could be more clear if the icon was replaced with a 'Home' icon, or something similar.

Cancel future bookings if user has not checked in X times in a row
As a system admin, I'd like to configure the app to cancel future bookings if the user doesn't check in X times in a row.
User should receive a message to advise them of the cancellation

Serraview - Reserve Enabled Default configuration
When new locations are added the default is for Reserve Enabled to be checked as yes. It would be great if the reserved enabled would not be checked as most locations are not reservable and instead only check those that are.

Ability to 'Check In' directly from the concierge page
Currently the check-in feature is not obvious and requires the user to navigate into the My Bookings to check in.
It would be great if it was made more obvious to the user that they could check in by perhaps adding a banner on the concierge menu prompting them to Check In Now. If they could check in directly from that page without being redirected to the My Bookings would be ideal.
This would reduce clicks and make the check-in process more seamless and user friendly.

Limit Floor Capacity
As an administrator, I would like to be able to set a floor capacity for the maximum number of desk bookings per floor that will be accepted by Engage. Once this floor capacity has been reached. No additional new bookings will be accepted for this floor.
Further enhancement:
- Notify administrators when floor capacity is reached (or a threshold will be reached) to then release an additional floor for booking
- Wait list for staff who wish to book on a floor that is at capacity, to then be notified when a new floor is releasedThis will allow me…

Automatically passthrough the SSO authentication to the My Profile site
Currently when you navigate to the My Profile tile from the Engage app, you are required to re-authenticate your credentials to access the page.
The user experience is greatly impacted as it is not seamless.
The app should carry through the users SSO authentication when accessing the My Profile page.
