Critical Locations for Covid
With Covid happening it would be good to come up with a way to identify tiers of critical locations without removing who is currently or who will be in the space.
Tiers -> Tier 1 and Tier 2
Tier 1 – critical teams need to remain in locations on site
Tier 2 – second most critical in their locations
Critical Location ->
Using that to identify what floors need to remain open for the Bank to run
Help knowing what locations to keep open, which to close, cleaning schedules, etc
Needed a way to show visually

'Add employee' functionality in BOS should have more details to determine correct employee
When adding a name to a BOS (or adding a Migration Manager to BOS), typing a name like 'Jennifer Brown' brings up many choices. Can additional information be available in the pop-up to better identify the correct person. Would like to see - Team, Current Location, email address

Make Retention Status highlight a brighter yellow and more noticeable in VBS
The highlight which appears in VBS for spaces with a Retention Status is not noticeable. Please make the highlight color bright yellow and bigger See attachment.

BOS Refresh From Live - No 'To Location'
Scenario: When clicking 'Refresh From Live' (and selecting 'based on occupant'), all the person's other locations are added to BOS as new rows. The user leaves one of those rows without a To Location.
Currrent functionality: All moves will be implemented except rows that don't have a To Location.
Suggestion: If a To Location isn’t set, give the user the option to 'Remove all BOS occupants from desks if they have no To Location' (not sure what the button should say), or to 'Ignore rows', or to 'Cancel' (i.e. don't implement; the user might want to bulk update some to…

Add the option to automatically generate space numbers on floorplan import

Current Workaround: Space record ID numbers can be added to the CAD files or imported via an excel.

Have the ability to generate and view SVLive utilization reporting in real-time rather than the current 1-day delay. This is particularly important from a BCP perspective.

Import standard image file formats (.jpeg, .png) as floorplans

"Ability to use image file (e.g. .jpeg, .png) for as built floor plan, space inventory management, occupancy planning, move management, space allocations/chargebacks, free address/hoteling, and utilization tracking."
Current Workaround: Serraview currently supports both AutoCAD and Revit formats for floorplan imports.

Display text description of object in floorplan view
Client feedback logged on 04/01/20:
"Ability to display a text description of an asset, HR, or space record by hovering over the record on a floor plan"
Workaround: Information can be accessed by clicking on the object to review it's attributes.
Additional Information: This feature should be present on Space Viewer as well. There should be several configuration options governing this available in the config menu as well, such as font format and number of characters shown in description. Double clicking on the description bubble should open the attached object's data page.

Ability to link an image file to an asset or space record

Additional Report Detail Needed in help.serraview.com
Descriptions and screenshots exist for built-in reports in help.serraview.com. Additional details would prove very helpful such as including the formulas for calculations and an explanation of each column header.

Remote Working / Work from Home
Remote workers are usually assigned to a building record with an HR Status of “Remote”.
Within Serraview, you cannot assign a person to a building. He/she must be assigned to a floor/neighborhood/allocation/space which then rolls up to the assignment for the building. The issue with this is that the remote workers should NOT roll up to the assignment of the building since those workers are not coming into the office i.e. should not be impacting space planning decisions.
Serraview also does not contemplate HR Status. An organization would want to set the HR Status to “Remote” for an employee in…

Flex Seating Capacity Dashboard
As a Space Planner I want to see a simple dashboard that shows me how much flex seating capacity I have based on the target occupancy ratios I have set.
This dashboard should show:
- #Total WPS
- #Flex WPS
- #Fixed WPS
- Target Seating Ratio (Average)
- Flex Seating Capacity (WPS * Target Seating Ratio)
- Occupancy (Assignments)
- Opportunity (Capacity less Occupancy)
- $/Person (at capacity)The dashboard should allow me to see high level numbers, the quickly drill down into particular locations.

As a Space Planner I want a simple dashboard of my current space inventory so that know what space we've got and can tell my executive about it.
It should include:
- # locations (leaf level regions or cities)
- # buildings
- # floors
- # Workpoints
- # Collaborative Spaces (Seats > 0)

- # USF
- total cost
- average cost/WP
- average cost/SF

Test network switches through the UI
It would be great to have the ability to 'ping' a network switch or run an SNMP Walk to confirm connectivity to the switch from within the Serraview UI. If the ping fails then it can prompt the user with suggestions as to why the ping was unsuccessful.
