  1. I very much appreciate the concept behind UserVoice allowing Archibus to develop the features their customers need based on the most voted topics.

    This said I have an issue that every customer gets 2 (two) votes regardless of the size.

    I work for a public administration of +50.000 staff members and having just two votes for such a big organization is kind of ridiculous as although me and my co-voter try to push our ideas forward we are drown by the votes of very small companies. it is not just the two UserVoice voters that are just using Archibus but…

  2. Providing an easier way to cancel a move request from the move console from any status. Can a quick action button be provided in the Move Console to quickly cancel a move request.

  3. Archibus Users with our XXXX-RP-PU Archibus role can't assign employees to available rooms in the Space Console. Is it only because they don’t have this security group: Space-console-all-access security group, or it has something to do with the fact that we have a customization for these users for the Space Console. What would be the options to have those users to be able to perform this task from the Space Console?

  4. Allow the end user to modify the document type, description, classification and document name on Lease documents via the Lease Portfolio Console. Currently you have to delete the document and re-add it to correct these fields.

  5. We have instances where an employee works across multiple campus' or buildings and therefore requires a desk in both locations. It would be great if the ARCHIBUS Workspace Transaction feature was available in the SaaS version to allow for an employee to be allocated to multiple desks / locations.

  6. Performance Metrics on the homepage for percentages do not show decimals. This is due to the number only allowing 2 decimal places. Extra precision is needed for decimals for percentage metrics.

    Please change the display and decimal places of the performance metrics as the precision is important for many of the metrics.

  7. When performing a search in Workplace, we would like to see exact match results be displayed first. When there is a lengthy list of results (not all displayed), it is important for our users to see the exact match first, otherwise they cannot find the location they are looking for.

    Attached is a screenshot example illustrating an exact match record we would like to have returned first on the search.

  8. Allow the performance metrics and alerts to show values based on the user that is currently logged in.

    For example, I want an alert on my homepage to show how many Work Requests are assigned to me, or how many leases are expiring where I am the landlord contact.

    There is the ability to set granularities for metrics based on assignment, however this is generic and does not change based on the logged in user.

  9. PM WR check lists - Allow check list to display and push certain data back to other tables in the databases.

    example

    A location based PM - check an update condition index on multiple eq_id

    Checklist question

    1) inspect and update "eq.ed_id#1" "eq.decription#1" condition. Previous ci "eq#1.ci" type in new ci "checklist ci Field"

    Repeat this for each piece of equipment that you wish to assess.

    when WR Status is complete, update eq.ci from new checklist ci data.

    other examples such as
    1) check and record Residual current device trip time on DB1-RCD1, 2
    2) check and record water meter…

  10. Our customer requests the ability to display any message when a tree panel is filtered and there are no hits.

    If there were no hit records in the GRID panel, "No records to display." will be displayed.
    However, if there are no records in the TREE panel such as in the "Define Organizations" and "Equipment Systems Console" tasks, nothing is displayed and the panel is completely blank.

    This is a minor detail, but this specification is unpopular with customers. Even when the behavior is correct, it appears to the user as if an error has occurred on the view.

  11. When the organization uses SAML for authentication, you must setup a second instance of Web Central to support API calls. If the organization is using Onsite, then another instance of Web Central must be setup to support that application. Once these secondary environments are up, a user can go to the URL and attempt to log into those systems.

    We are requesting a switch in Web Central config files that would disable the UI login capability. With this switch turned on, a user would receive a message on the Archibus login page suggesting they are not authorized to log into…

  12. When you look at the numbers in Hotel Savings by Building and Hotel Savings by Departments reports, you will notice that it only includes employees and rooms assigned to department.
    Also, some em.emid do not match the rmptc.emid but they are counted.

    From the help file:

  13. There are views in the product which aren't setup to adopt any security groups for accessing things such as the buttons to save.

    For example the: Project Management Console, Lease Management Console

    Client seem to like these views but in large organizations, some of that data was setup so there are VPAs for certain data to be visible to the client.   14. In 2022.02, in order for users to quickly make use of features such as scanning a QR code or booking through a Kiosk, the guest account has to be enabled. The problem with the guest account is the password cannot be changed easily if a client doesn't have access the environment as it's hardcoded in a few areas of the product (/schema/ab-products/essential/dev/workplace/src/utils/authentication.js and /schema/ab-core/views/sign-in/ab-sign-in.js). The other problem is because of this, every environment in 2022.02 would have the same password for the guest account.   15. In the browser offering the availability of the Workplace App once the user has selected to not use the App by choosing 'X' to close the offering, stop offering to use the Workplace App after so many closes.

  16. BIRT reporting is very important for many of our users. Withdrawing support for BIRT would create a serious problem for them, and would be perceived by clients as a breach of trust. Tech support reports that support will continue only if the BP community expresses interest.

    Other clients have also expressed interest in starting to use BIRT reports, and it is a tool that is useful for us to fulfill functional requirements (e.g., providing a presentable Lease Invoice, not the embarrassingly poor one that uses Archibus native reporting.)

  17. Currently, there is very little control over how fields are placed and displayed within a paginated report column panel. It would be nice for it to respect attributes like colspan and rowspan so that fields can be placed in an order that makes sense.

  18. When the requestor enters a Department Contact for a move, the contact receives an email with a link to view the move, but that is it. For a lot of groups that contact is the admin and they would like for the moves they are "tagged" in to show up under "Examine My Moves" for tracking and reference.

  19. This would be similar to the Maintenance History section in work requests, which shows a history of all work requests placed for that piece of equipment. I would like to see this concept expanded to work requests that don't have equipment codes, where the maintenance history would show the work requests for the room code. This would help reduce the number of requests for the same scope of work.

  20. The new Define locations screen has great Feature allowing the user to select additional field to display. The current view locations fields does not have the same look/feel /function.

    The new define locations screen should have a read only version (just remove the update function).

    this enable us to have consistent training and use of the functions across the organisation
