A Workplace App where the user can find and reserve spaces such as meeting room, workplace, car parking, lockers, quiet zones and many.
In this way, users can book more than one amenity based on configurations, specific to each location. In summary, the booking readily available amenities and spaces will be hassle-free and clear.5 votes -
Highlights for Fully-Booked Floors
When a floor is fully booked the blue/gray available/booked highlights do not load at all. This gives users the impression that the highlight has failed to load and there is an application error.
I see that as of v2023.02 a message has been added indicating there are 0 rooms available. This is an improvement but it could be more clear.
For a floor that is 100% booked for the selected date/time:
- Display the highlights showing all rooms gray - this will also allow admins to review bookings for fully-booked floors at a glance.

Dynamic Questions at Reservation
Similar to the another 2 ideas "Back to Work - Reservation/booking Questionnaires for pre/post use" and Questionnaire for Service Request types, there is desire to have dynamic questions asked of the requestor before they submit a reservation request. We have one client that uses the reservations module not only for reserving rooms but holding events within these rooms. The client wants to set up a series of questions to gather needs for the event/reservation and based on how it's answered, another question may load/display.

Add BIM Viewer to Space Console
The BIM Viewer is an excellent tool for cataloging and working with a project in 3D, especially for users who may have little to no Revit experience. However, since the BIM Viewer does not exist in the Space Console, users will still need to publish to 2D/3D using the Archibus Extension for Revit. Because of this, users will likely just stick with the Archibus Extension for Revit for their needs instead of purchasing/utilizing the BIM Viewer.
Adding the BIM Viewer to Space Console will increase its use.

Workplace app - Option to rename Services card
Currently, the Workplace app has a Services card that allows service desk and maintenance requests. For customers who are not interested in Service Desk options but only need maintenance requests it would be nice to have an application parameter that would change the text and possibly the image for the Services card to Maintenance. See the attached image as an example.

Scroll bar for employee list in Workplace when booking a room with large capacity.
In workplace-hoteling, when you select a room to book that has a large capacity, if a lots of employees already booked that room, you see their names in the list and the list is sometime so long that you need to zoom out to see the "Book" button. And when you zoom out, it become too small; it doesn’t meet accessibility requirement. It would be nice to have a scroll bar on the side.

Support for Clipped XREFs
ARCHIBUS should respect clipped XREF boundaries set in CAD.
At present ARCHIBUS ignores them when publishing enterprise graphics, resulting in the entire XREF being shown. The best alternative we can offer clients with readability problems on especially large floor plans (100k+ SqFt) is to break up the source CAD file, which solves that problem but introduces other drawing management challenges. Respecting clipped XREF boundaries would make it possible to maintain a single source CAD background for large floor plans.

People and Places: Ability to define information presented (ie equipment, amenities, ect)
Please add the ability for the system administrator to limit/add the type of information that is viewable in People and Places.
For example:
- ability hide the employee location and equipment location from our requesters for various security reasons
- ability to search for amenities and room categoriesIdeally this could be defined/restricted based on role

Staff Notices on Workplace App
Provide staff bulletins or notices on the Workplace app. It would be great if FMs could send site-wide communications to end users via Workplace. It could be used to share important updates regarding the site such as office closures, maintenance, service issues and travel disruption.

Print Floor Plans w/Legend in Workspace Transactions Console, just like Space Console
Users also need the ability to print floor plans from the Workspace Transaction Console. This should work just like the Space Console with the added note of the date selected. Alternatively, give users the ability to see floor highlights over time in the "View and Print Floor Plan" view (also adding the date selected to the PDF floor plan).

Make workplace stop stripping text from autocad. We will like to be able to show the streetnames on the side of the floorplans.. Will help the employees know where they are booking

Booking details in the event title on Calendar
When sending out the calendar invite for a booked workspace, It would be useful adding the seat number to the subject.

DAILY RECURRENCE PATTERN FOR 1 DAY (3487)
BUG: When daily recurrence is used to do a search for only one day, the system seems to consider the following days also in the search. If I do a daily search for today, I also see employees who would have booked for the following days. For example, if Eric booked rm 3A for Tuesday, Jacob booked rm 3A for Wednesday and Caroline booked rm 3A for Thursday, when I try to book 3A for today, I can book but I am told that Eric is also in the rm, which is not the case. ROOM STATUS FUNCTION CHANGE (3521)
When a room is set to Do Not Use, it is not available for future use as it was in the previous version. More details are required about how we should now be using the Room Status, how it now work and what is the difference between using Is Hotelable? vs changing the Room Status.

Unconfirmed workspace bookings report
Provide a report that shows the total number of workspace bookings (confirmed and unconfirmed) and then the breakdown of number of confirmed vs. unconfirmed bookings for a user-specified date range.

Multi-Currency Exchange Rate workflow
Currently the processs to update the exchange rates is either manual or through data transfer.
It would be nice if there was a workflow created that would import the daily exchange rates from the International Monetary Fund. Then update the Budget and Payment Conversion Factors for any currencies in the afm_conversions table. Allow setting the frequency of the update to daily, monthly, etc.. depending on the level of accuracy required.

Add toggle to show/hide expired options and amendments in lease portfolio console
Leases can have a huge number of associated records. We added an enhancement for our client that we think would be useful in core Archibus - in the options and recurring costs tabs of the lease portfolio console hide expired records by default and add a button to show them so they can view only when required.

Automatically close the SAML authorization form once sign-in succeeded
SmartClient SAML sign-in opens an authorization form popup, which shows the Web Central home page after authentication succeeds.
The user then needs to click the OK button to close the authorization form.It would be nice if SmartClient closes the authorization form automatically once the Web Central home page loaded successfully.

Multiple layer display
The Space Console should be able to display multiple layers, rather then just the default room id and 1 other. For example it would be useful to be able to display both Employee Name and Room Area

PDF export zoom and layer control
Better control of zoom and layers when exporting to PDF.
Currently it appears that Archibus is not able to apply layer control and zoom factor settings at the same time during printing process. This is a critical issue which is impacting on the quality of the service that we can provide to the client.
