We have to rank methods to track real-time utilization of space. This would be a very good option compared to others that require integration with motion sensors, network connectivity, or employee ID access card data. The existing "Check In" functionality is flawed in a way that users can check in remotely while not showing up in the space. This compensates the self-check-in process.

Agreed. It is one of the reasons we have to come up with a custom view to not allow Hoteling Administrators (end users on site) from changing the fundamental Building-Floor-Room data in the same screen where they assign employee seating. Can we separate the tasks or enable access control by User Role?
