I agree that this is a very confusing process to users. I think if the developers simply switch the processes this would solve the problem.
Check and cancel bookings that have exceeded the "Confirmation time"
*THEN*
Send Please Confirm your booking emails.Additionally confusing is that the
Please Confirm email comes from Hotelling using the rmpct.pct_id as the unique value.
Cancel email come from Service Desk with the activity_log.activity_log_id. To the end user these are total unrelated. -

Lets please also not loose sight of the simple Graphical View of a floorplan with Amenities already assigned. At present the only way to see is via the Workplace Portal and that's only for "available on the day".
Personally I don't think that the SpaceConsole is the proper place for this, and it should have it's own view. My customer has the problem that they have multiple Amenities that could be at the same location but not always. Being able to have a view that lets me highlight based on single or combo of Amenities would be ideal.
For example these amenities don't frequently overlap, and being able to select and display combos vs only showing if amenities exist is important.

Would be great if this was an Activity Param that could allow starting from either the Site or Building level. It would be a big benefit to have this flexibility to control the starting point for drilling down.

Building on the previous idea about a security group maybe it’s a onetime button that right then logouts you out and then automatically logs you in as “the selected user”. Later upon logout or timeout your next connection would be via your normal process (Name/Role/etc).
High Security environments would definitely see this as a potential threat vector, to help mitigate that it might be wise to additional have file property that allows/disallows this as a feature, in the security.properties for example defaulting to NotAllowed seems like a good choice. This allows organizations to choose if they want to enable such a feature Always/Never/Sometimes and while it’s not dynamic it is still a diagnostic possibility when required.
I’ve run across this type of situation at almost every customer at one point or another. Sometimes it can be a nightmare trying to work through solutions without someone available to “reset” your role/account. I’m not tied up in how it gets done, almost anything would be better than nothing.

This would be great if it could be an option applied to the whole role. Some groups of users are restricted to a building intentionally but others who travel should have this feature.
afm_roles.apply_vpa_to_workpleace = Yes/No
