  1. The error messages in Engage have no details as to why a booking cannot go through (examples). This causes users to believe the tool itself is not working.

    1. Daily Booking has reached its limit. Please try another day.
    2. Booking cannot be made outside of the Booking window.

  3. Our space types are set up in such a way their definitions are directly related to whether or not they should be bookable through the Engage reservation tool.

    Examples:
    Dedicated Spaces: NON-reservable
    Shared Spaces: Reservable
    Open Shared Spaces: NON-reservable (think touchdown stations to accommodate walk-ins)

    If someone changes a space type, the "reserving enabled" feature needs to be manually updated to reflect that space type. I would love an automation set in place for this.

    Also, as a part of this ask, a report to let the Admin know what spaces have been changed, and by whom. Not only does…

  4. Currently the check-in feature is not obvious and requires the user to navigate into the My Bookings to check in.

    It would be great if it was made more obvious to the user that they could check in by perhaps adding a banner on the concierge menu prompting them to Check In Now. If they could check in directly from that page without being redirected to the My Bookings would be ideal.

    This would reduce clicks and make the check-in process more seamless and user friendly.

  6. In busy sites, individuals are making desk bookings many weeks in advance, limiting availability for others planning closer to the day. Once check-in closes, a significant number of desks are released. It would be valuable to have a reminder 48 hours prior to the booking for people to confirm their planned use of the desk, or to release it for others. This would reduce the number of on-the-day cancellations, and enable other to book a desk ahead of attending site.

  7. Currently booking report 345 will show the booked for as “team booking”, and not a persons name, so if there’s an internal requirement to report on who had a desk booked, difficult to do. Enhancement to reporting element, to report on attendee - if a person did not accept and select a desk, keep cell as Team booking. if a person accepts and selects the desk, cell to show persons name.

    Updates to reporting and report 345 are in development to include:

    • Booked on Behalf of details
    • Team booking details
    • Neighbourhood and Village names
    • Booking cancellation details and times
    • Check in and out times
    • First responder tags

  8. We would like to have the ability to send reservation notifications for nominated desks/spaces to the applicable space "owners." That way they can review the requests in real time

  9. As a system administrator, I want the ability to view and delete room bookings made.

    At this time, only desk bookings are available in the VBS.

    Can we also view bookings made against a bookable space?
    Likewise, can we also 'cancel' the bookings made?
    Option to bulk delete or bulk shift bookings to other rooms

  10. The Engage People Tab should visually indicate if a user is active, away, checked in or just booked a desk. This will allow people to quickly check the people tab to determine if someone is active on site today or not.

    This will enhance the use of Engage beyond desk bookings when searching for active users in SVL2 and

  11. We would like to have the ability to enable a centralized check-in process. In addition to allowing users to check themselves in for a desk, it would be great if a receptionist or security could "check-in" reservations in Engage. This would help us enforce COVID safety protocols, as well as reservation procedures.

  12. As an Engage user, I would love to see Engage used for RSVPs to events that companies can host within their spaces (or off-site events)- that won't count against our regular seat counts.

    Examples:
    1) Our client is hosting a holiday event, and for social distancing purposes, want to cap the capacity to a certain number. It would be lovely to set up a "building" as the event itself to help monitor RSVPs in one place.
    2) During COVID, our client sets up "Outdoor Offices" that are temporary sites to encourage company culture while waiting to return to the office,…

  13. As a user, I would like to modify my existing desk reservations by shortening it (i.e. 4 days to 2 days) or extending it (i.e. 2 days to 5 days).

    For existing desk reservations where I am shortening it, it should allow the user to keep their existing desk reservation or suggest booking another desk as a secondary option.

    For existing desk reservations where I am extending the booking, it should try to book the originally reserved desk for the extended time, and if this is not free, allow you to do the following options; 1) keep the original desk…

  14. As a Slack user, I'd like to be able to find an employee by command, such as "\find Megan". This would bring up a floor plan locating where Megan is.

  15. While making a reservation in Outlook, I'd like to be able to see photos of the room, see the room's location on a floormap, view equipment available in the room, and filter based on room capacity and equipment available.

  18. When opting in or out of Engage visibility, it would be useful to choose if users can:
    - Hide or display my live status (SVLive)
    - Allow people in my team/org unit to see my details but hidden from users in other teams
    - Hide or display my email and contact details, photo and role
    - Hide or display my booking history (current, past and future)

  19. As an Engage Admin/Facilities Manager,
    I would like Engage users to be able to enter comments
    - When booking a desk or space
    - When cancelling a booking or space

    Comments can be used to explain why they're reserving/cancelling the booking (team meeting, working on a project, needs specific equipment, catering requests), So that management can better understand why employees are reserving certain seats.

  20. Add a scroll bar for the Type and Equipment drop down lists. The "Show Available Spaces" field at the bottom of the page has an equally sized white field above it. Unless the user knows this, they could easily misinterpret this to mean that the displayed list is complete rather than scroll down for more options.
